Silent tears streaked down her face as she listened to Theophilus' heartbeat. It was strong but relaxed.
She could feel his emotions, he was RELIEVED.
His fingers gingerly went through her deep purple hair as if to remind her of his presence. He had a content smile she failed to see but Napoleon saw it since he was busy watching them in suspicion.
Treasure held him like he was her source of life. But when did they grow so close? Napoleon wondered to himself in confusion.
The drive back home was smooth, peaceful and very calm. It gave a homely atmosphere.
Now Theophilus could relate with people who said;
'Sometimes home isn't a place but a person.'
Was it too soon to call Treasure his home?
