The Owner of the Inn part 2

Suddenly the blond man stops the red hair he carefully looks at the faces of the three ingrained in his mind. Alexius ignores his stares and immediately sits at the table pretending that he never saw him. This action irks the blond man he comes forward and started to introduce himself.

"Hello, their young friend I am Allen Austin the fifth son of the Austin family. You might know my family influence here is quite strong. And I really don't want a fight break out and you also don't want that to happen?"

Alexius didn't respond to his words ignoring him he looks for a waiter. He found the waiter on the corner and motions him to come forward.

"Can I get a menu?"

He then immediately trotters towards Alexius as he clumsy gives the menu to him. As he passes the menu to Alexius he was stop by Allen.

"Hey man, can't we all agree that we came here first? So this table is ours why don't you take your little pussy friends and move? Hmmm? How's that sound?"

As he puts a hand on Alexius' shoulder as he massages Alexius' shoulder while putting pressure on it. Alexius stops his movement he then faces the blond man who is smiling ear to ear as if he won the argument. He then whispers to Alexius that only they can hear.

"I mean for a filthy human-like don't deserve to sit on a table. Why don't you just run away from us with your tails tuck in your butt?"

He then starts to lightly slap Alexius' face as he and his comrades started to laugh. They were mocking them as their laughs drown the hallway. Others just only watch with pity because they have also been bullied by them. Being looked down on by them is a humiliating experience. As if your pride is being smashed together into pieces.

They like to looking down on someone weaker than them. They enjoy the screams and pleas of pitiful people who beg from them. The more you beg the more it pleases them. Everyone who is the victim of this group hates them to the core.

They knew that the Austin family has a strong background and influence. They are in charge of equipment and magic stone distribution. Going against this family is losing the chance to buy proper equipment. So they could only low their heads while being bullied by these scumbags. They could only look with pity at the party as they are the new target of this group.

'This freak thing he can go against me pfft.'

As the blond man continues to snicker he thought that Alexius is getting scared and now is trembling with fear. It was so sudden that he didn't realize that he was on the ground. It happens so fast that he couldn't keep up his face is planted on the ground he stepped on by Alexius.

'Impossible I am the disciple of the best swordsman recognize ever known and yet I was defeated by this mere filthy commoner?!! A human nonetheless?!! This is unacceptable!'

He then punches the back of Alexius but Alexius didn't even flinch by the impact it was like a kitten throwing punches at him. He tries again but failed miserably then Allen's company started to fight against Alexius. The first one that charges is the red hair he runs towards Alexius like a bull. Yet he was stopped by vines wrapping in his legs then raise him upwards. He was dangling like a decoration he tries to break free from the vines but the more he tried the more it got tighter. The purple-haired lady throw some ice spear at Elijah but was stopped by a wall of ice. Suddenly there were two shadows appeared behind Alexius; Elijah and Amelia were caught off guard as they tried to defend Alexius from the incoming attack.

The twins aim for the neck of Alexius but when they finally stab him he vanished they were caught off guard. They started to search for him but was too late he was already at their backs and was choked on their necks. They let go of their weapons as they tried to get away from Alexius' grasps. The twins' faces started to get blue because of the lack of oxygen as they tried to gasp for air.

"ENOUGH!!!"

A strong aura spreads throughout the room there it revealed an almost seven-foot man with big muscles. He has a brown-haired in textured crop with emerald eyes with a scruffy mustache. He sees the main cause of the problem and walks towards them with an angry look.

"Let them down."

As he looks into Alexius' eyes they stared at each other as if two top predators of the pyramid finally met. Alexius then lets go of the twins as they fall into the grounds while trying to breathe more air as possible. They look like fishes who finally breathe on the water. Elijah also let go of the red hair letting gravity do the work.

The man who just entered still looks at Alexius, while the people who first provoked them are now looking at them angrily. They believe they are the victims in this situation as the blond man finally recovered his wits. He immediately blames Alexius' party for putting dirty water on them as he keeps pointing at them.

"He was the one who started this! We only want the table and they suddenly attack us!!!"

"Yes, it is true!" The comrades of the blond man also chime in and started to blame them. Amelia felt this situation is so ridiculous they were the ones who started the fight! She heard what that Allen sh*t said. Winter spirits also have sensitive senses that help them maneuver the location of someone despite a cold winter.

'They intentionally provoke us to blame it against us! Damn sly son of a b*tch! How's does Alexius handles this situation.'

"Is it true that you started the fight?"

As the man in front of them puts more pressure on the hallway everyone in this presence couldn't help but shudder at the intensity he releases. Many people in the vicinity having trouble standing straight as their legs are trembling like a newborn deer. Even Elijah and Amelia know that this man in front of them is no ordinary person. His aura is enough to make them kneel but his control is amazing. He specifically controls his aura only to them and the other party enough to make them recognize that he is not an easy man.

As Amelia looks at Alexius waiting for his response if everything is depending on his answer. As Alexius opens his mouth if the whole place holds their breath as they listen carefully afraid to miss what's going to happen next.

The whole atmosphere in the hallway is silent they couldn't believe what he just said. He admitted his actions like it was nothing the whole people in the vicinity could help but open their mouths that even an egg could be put into it. Allen's party was also taken aback by his actions this was their first time meeting a shameless man in their lives.

'Is he an idiot? he just admitted it like that! even things didn't go as we plan but he can't go against me I am the son of the Austin family. Nobody can touch me even that man.'

As Allen's eyes landed on the man who is glaring at Alexius right and currently having a staring contest with him. Alexius is also not afraid of him, he stares into his eyes with no fear of challenging his authority. Suddenly there were laughing echoes into the hallway it was like an earthquake, shaking the entire corners of the hallway.

"You are not bad kiddo, I like bold and ambitious children like you."

As he slaps Alexius back as if the previous actions that he did were not him like an illusion vanishes into a cloud of smoke. Amelia and Elijah were bewildered by this man's actions they both look each other confused like innocent babies. Amelia just shrug at Elijah which earned a raised eyebrow from him then looks back at the man and Alexius.

'It seems I tend to attract eccentric people'

Are the passing thoughts of a young Alexius he kinda knew deep inside but he just shrugs it off this weird feeling. The man was now enthusiastic about having a conversation with Alexius of course it was a one-sided conversation. The man notices this but ignores it and continues his merry way like it was nothing.

"W-wait! so he's going in trouble, doesn't he? He attacks me! Look at me I have an injury right in my face!"

The man stops laughing and turns towards Allen he just gives him a dead fish look as if he was like an insignificant pest in his eyes.

"Yeah, I don't care."

Allen was shocked by his reaction he thought he would take his side! It was not supposed to go like this.
