The City of Azurite

"We will now arrive in the City of Azurite passengers please prepare. Thank you."

As the announcement was over all of the passengers inside the train started to prepare themselves. As they exited the tunnel all of the passengers were shock and amazed by what they have seen. The first thing ever caught their eyes is that the big tree in the middle of the city was so big, that even if you are like hundred kilometers away you can always see the tree. It was so beautiful that all of the passengers inside the train are unable to take away their eyes from its beauty. It made you feel magical as if you are transported in another world that looks like a paradise.

Most of the passengers are awed at the buildings in the city as most of them are floating! All of the citizens in this city are either using a transportation device like brooms, aerial pads, and many more. It was like your dream city where magic and technology are perfectly combined. The three look down as they saw buildings on the ground on islands there are a lot of rivers that separated each district in the city.

"It always amazes me every single time I enter this city." An old woman said on the opposite side expresses her admiration.

"You are exactly right dear." Another old woman replies to her comment as she lovingly loves hugs her as they enjoy the view of the city.

Elijah looks at the two old women hugging each other as if no one can separate the two people. He was a bit jealous of them they have each other be it worse or better until they grew old.

"Isn't it nice to have someone to love as who you are and never care whether it was a status, wealth, appearance, race nor gender. As they love you as you, isn't that kind of love beautiful?"

"Well if you find that person then don't let them go because they are really hard to find and they are really worth the hardships to woe them. You see love comes in many forms be it familial, friendship, or even a lover. What matters is that you've loved them as who they are a true kind of love. You should not fall to someone who would judge you just because you are a bit different than most all people. When all in truth we are all the same be it all sizes and shapes beliefs or morals in the end love can really change us all."

As Amelia looks back at the window but you can see the sadness in her eyes. She looks hurt then she closes her eyes and shakes her head as it was nothing.

"What are you looking at?" It made Amelia piss at the sympathizing look of Elijah.

"Well we have painful stories in our lives but if continue to be stuck in the past we can never be able to move forward and enjoy what life has to offer. There would always be ups and downs, and life can also give us all sorts of surprises that we never thought could happen. When you look deeply into our lives, it looks like a tragedy, but it becomes like a comedy in the long run. All we need to know is that keep looking forward and never forgot where you came from. Take it slowly but never be too glum about life as it has been always like that. We must be brave and march onward perhaps we can see the light at the end of the tunnel."

"For once you look dependable Elf." As Amelia gives a somehow like a compliment?

"I LOOK dependable I HAVE been always dependable you idiot!" Elijah was angry at her comment although looking back at the times. He indeed looks undependable but he IS dependable it's just not his time to shine hmph!

"We are now arriving at the train station please move out in an orderly manner. Thank you."

The three started to put away the trashes and the left snacks are put in their dimensional bags. The front row passengers started to get up followed by the second row in an orderly manner. After some time it was their turn to exit from the train as they received their luggage from the luggage area. They then proceed to exit from the train station and found their selves amazed again at this city.

"I never felt like a country bumpkin before until I arrived in this city," said Elijah.

"Same," Amelia said as they stupidly look at Alexius as if he is their mother hen and they are the little chicks. Alexius noticed their stares looks tired at their antics he never thought that raising two children would be so hard.

'You are amazing Aunt for raising me to become a proper adult.'

"First we need to find an inn for the meantime before the Academy opens. Amelia search for the inn in this city do you have the communication device?" As he looks at Amelia then Amelia touches her communication device in her right wrist.

"Found 20 results most of them are fully booked the only inn who has free lodge is located near..." As she continues to taps into her communication device after a few seconds she found it and shows the map of the inn to them.

"Let's go."

"Yes!" Both Elijah and Amelia said in unison as they follow Alexius like baby ducklings.

They entered an alley and turn right then walk straight and turn left after several turns they finally arrived at the location. The inn has a big nameplate that was lighted with neon with a flowers decorated on each sides. The name of the inn was Iris of Emerald it was an inn that was not suspicious but at the same time it was an inn that would make you think twice of your decision. It was probably because of the two musculared men in black suits that was guarding the entrance. Makes the customers think rather an inn but a underground business then turn away before they could even enter.

"Hey are you all sure that this is the inn that we are searching for?"

As Amelia tugs the t-shirt of Alexius at his left side and on the other side was Elijah the same action that he did as Amelia. The two frail ducklings hiding behind at the back of their mother duckling who was standing straight and tall. As if nothing can go against him even the two black men also flinch at his strong aura that he is releasing.

"We didn't make a mistake let's go." As Alexius marches forward towards the wolfs den behind him are two ducklings as they follow their mother duckling. Will they be able to go out alive in this inn or will they be forgotten and becomes the next victim of this mysterious inn.
