Enjoy While it Lasts part 2

After Finn said Captain Doloris seems to soften up she apologies to the two youths in front of her.

"My apologies it seems that I have step out of the line I don't mean to be rude but we got a murderer on a loss, we can't afford to lower our guard in this situation it is in our protocol."

"We understand Captain Doloris we will cooperate on this investigation," said Alexius, and Elijah nod in agreement with what he has said. Which earns a relief from Finn and a nod from Captain Doloris but still keeps up her aloof persona.

"Then I would like you to explain the situation clearly and detailed as much as you can remember."

She then motion Finn and Finn nod started to pull out a notepad as he stares at the two youths in front of him as they begin their story.

"We first got here after we help the sister of the owner of this inn who was lost. The older sister wanted to thank us by inviting us into their inn then we agreed as we have no other place to go because of our current situation. After that we have gone to the hot spring area for a bath then a commotion happened. Some eager youths wanted to..."

Alexius suddenly stop talking which made all of the people in the present wonder as they look at him 'why are you stopping?'. Which made it even worse Alexius turn beet red as he speaks in a lower voice but no one can hear it because his voice is so low that it is barely even a whisper.

"Can you repeat what you said Alexius?"

"they.....peek..." as soft as a tinkling bell sound but barely heard what he said which made Captain Doloris annoyed because of his actions.

"Louder." Captain Doloris's voice seems to bring anger and annoyance as well as impatience but Vice-Captain Finn notices the changes in Alexius. He noticed that his face seem to be unusually red he thought that was from the steam of the hot spring but it seems that was not the case. Vice-Captain Finn wanted to stop Captain Doloris to avoid embarrassing the youth but his mischievous side couldn't help but tease the youth he was deliberating whether to help the poor young lad or not. After some time his evil side won as he continues watching the scene playing out in front of him, to Elijah's side he is already confused as hell and had no idea what is happening right now. All he remembers is that Captain Doloris is shouting at Alexius to speak louder but Alexius seems to be trying hard to speak but cannot.

"Louder!"

"they...others.....pe..."

"I said LOUDER! are you deaf you, idiot scoundrel?!!!"

"THEY HAVE TRIED TO PEEK ON WOMEN'S BATHROOM!!!"

There was a moment of silence in the atmosphere it was so quiet that even the crows of birds can be heard in the night. Suddenly there was a sound of laughter coming from Finn which attracted the attention of the people in the present. Finn noticed their looks and adjusted his breathing pretending as if he didn't laugh a second ago. Alexius' face was so red like a ripe tomato he was so ashamed of what he said and Captain Doloris realize something. That this youth in front of him was cold and aloof on the outside but on the inside, he was a cute and shy person. Captain Doloris just chuckled a bit and adjusted her face and clears her throat. While on Elijah's side his face was blank but his thoughts are like a running horse in a marathon.

'I know that he was a shy person despite his cold and aloof persona on the outside though I ignore it at first because I thought I might be wrong but now....'

Leaving aside Elijah there was someone who was having fun in this scene since the beginning. Finn may look harmless uncle next door but he was cunning on the inside he looks at the young youth in front of him.

'He is an intelligent child but also sharp he can notice something's wrong and calmly assess the situation though he has some areas lacking he needs more experience. I am now expecting about his future I wonder what would happen in these following years.'

As his smile deepens while thinking about the possibilities that might happen to Alexius.

"*coughs* Let's continue the story Alexius we don't need to dilly dally in this serious situation the murder is still out there, we need the information as detailed as possible as they may have clues to our investigation."

Then Alexius turns serious and continues his story until he finished telling everything from the end. Captain Doloris's face becomes serious after Alexius finished his story he turns to Finn.

"Finn I need you to investigate the list of people who visited the inn and the people who are near in this vicinity. And you two I need you to come with us there's a possibility that the criminal would target you next for you two are important witnesses."

"But why would we the criminal target us?" ask by Elijah as he was confused from the messy events that happen in today's affair. Captain Doloris just stayed silent she did not answer the question of Elijah but motion them to follow the officer that would escort them to protect them in the meantime. Both Alexius and Elijah leave the crime scene as they followed the officer, Finn comes closer to Captain Doloris as he whispers.

"Is it possible that the criminal is 'her'?"

"We don't know for sure but we need to tighten the security in this city." As Captain Doloris comes forward to the location of the head and looks into the head. She then noticed something which made Captain Doloris smiled, at the evidence in her hands Finn just stayed silent after hearing the laughter of his Captain. Captain Doloris hands over the head to Finn and showed the head to him which made him stop, as the head shows some kind of silver fragments on the forehead at the part that was sliced.

"Nightshade fragments..."

"Indeed Finn we got a dark witch on our case."

As Captain Doloris stops and looks at the full moon in the sky her flutters in the air together with the breeze. As if carrying her hair as her eyes glint in the night then smiled thinking about what would happen next.

"We are going to get busy this time Finn."
