Chapter 30 I'm inviting you

The next day, Jenny headed for school despite wanting to spend the day with her brothers/ protectors. They had to practically drag her there as she had missed out alot on School.

"We'll be keeping out an eye on you." Jerry spoke as she alighted the car

"Stay away from that Jerome creep...you understand?!" Emma reminded her for the a hundredth time. She just rolled her eyes and headed for class.

The day went on as usual, she had avoided Tracy as usual only to land on an annoying person she wanted to avoid like plaque.

"Jenny hello!" Jerome greeted with his signature smile. Jenny looked at him annoyed. 'Not close to my Jason!' she grumbled only to slap her mouth internally. 'Mine? Seriously!!!!'

"What do you want? How many times do I have to show you that I'm not interested in getting acquainted with you?!"

"Haha, Jenny, I really don't understand where I went wrong to have you hate me so much but I....I really want to be friends with you." He spoke with all sincerity.

"I'm not interested!" Jenny replied coldly.

Ignoring her glare he continued to speak. "If you can give me a chance to prove myself to you.... I'd show you..."

"I don't need to see anything, so please....just stop pestering me!"

"Fine, fine. I won't push you!" He held out his hands at her in surrender with a defeated look on his face. Jenny sighed and turned to proceed her way. "Jenny..." he called out and she turned ready to break his nose this time round. "I have this party over the weekend and I invited everyone from college. Please come. You can bring any other companions if you wish so. This card accomodates upto five other people." Jenny looked at Jerome and back at the card he had in his hands. "Please!" he pleaded.

Not wanting to lengthen any of this, she took the card from him and turned to leave. She heard him ask from behind her. "You'll come right?!" But she didn't reply and headed to the cafeteria for breakfast.

Back at Jerome.

"Do you thinks she'll come?!" He asked his companions who had been in hiding.

"I don't know but I guess she will, she took the card so I believe she'll think about it." one spoke as he gave Jenny's back views dirty look.

"I hope she does!" Jerome sighed and went to the cafeteria along with his entourage.

"So what you mean is?" Lucas looked at Liam who bowed his head.

"I failed to get the projects from their possession. James installed a security system that I failed to break through and one of his men has his eyes on me recently." Liam reported with a heavy heart.

"Sigh...leave!!" he flung his arms at him tiredly. "Just leave you useless brat!! I don't understand why I even had to pick you from the trash and educated you. My efforts went in vain!!!"

"I'm really sorry father!!"

"If you are then why don't you just kill yourself and prove just how sorry you are?! Huh?"

"I'm going to do better father, I'll only come back to you after gaining enough information."

"Wilson escort this bastard out. I have enough on my plate now!"

"Yes sir." Wilson bowed to Lucas and turned to Liam. "Young master..please." he gestured as he led him to the door. After escorting him out, Wilson returned and bowed deeply to Lucas.

"Chief's younger son is here to see you Sir." Wilson reported to the already mentally exhausted Lucas.

"Let him in!" Lucas replied with his gruff voice and relaxed in his seat. The door opened and Wilson ushered in a young blonde haired man with diamond earrings on his ears, he was chewing in an unruly manner and despite the branded suit he wore, it didn't conceal his unruly and rude persona. When his eyes locked on Lucas, he stopped chewing and removed the gum from his mouth handing it to Wilson. "Throw that out!" he demanded and headed for Lucas who had his jaw clenched. He had observed his behaviour and concluded he was not letting this piece of trash near his precious daughter!!

"Hello and nice to meet you father in law!" The young an greeted and took a seat in the lounge area of Lucas's office. He crossed his legs and rested them on the coffe glass table.

"I'm not your father in law youngman and if possible refrain from dirtying my coffe table." Lucas spoke in a cold commanding tone.

The youngman's sunny face died to be replaced by a grim one. His eyes turned blood shot and veins popped one after another, he lay back in a relaxed manner and glared at Lucas. "Now, now now....father in law. You shouldn't treat me in such a manner and no one,.....absolutely no one tells me what and how to behave! Do I make myself clear?" He raised a brow inquiringly and Lucas tested blood in his mouth at how hard he was trying to control himself.

"Now, where is that precious little wife of mine, father in law? Hopefully she's not tainted and still pure!" he spoke with a dirty look and that marked it.

Anyone could insult him but never talk of his daughter in such a a manner!!!

The days passed fast and it was finally Friday night. Alot had happened in a span of three days, after her brother protectors appearance, she was shifted to a mansion in a much secure place thanks to another group of imbicles that had managed to locate her and were stalking her.

More to that, the mansion belonged to iceberg and all the men, Iceberg, James, Mike, Travis, Emma and Jerry moved in along with her. For any other person, it would have been weird to live in a house full of men but Jenny's life had been full of men mostly.

The mansion was enormous with twenty self contained room having a bathroom and walk in closet each. One huge kitchen, a swimming pool, jaccuzi, golf course,a gym, basket ball court, a movie theater, a smaller version of a fully equipped hospital and what not. It was like a small world of its own. There were also the side quarters that could accommodate around fifty people.

The fact that this small world came to life when Jason was only seventeen was a great achievement. Jerry and Emma were awed and just couldn't stop singing praises of Iceberg.

Now Friday night and Jenny had just returned from a shopping spree with Jerry. The others had headed out after capturing another group of mosquitoes that had tried to kidnap Jenny while at the hall. It had been chaotic but they managed it tactfully to avoid arising any form of attention. Iceberg was the most furious of all but he didn't go for blood immediately thanks to Emma and Travis who managed to contain him.

"So you chose to go to that damn party Jenny!" Jerry asked as he relaxed in his seat.

"I want to know what that Jerome is after and I can't perceive his intentions when I avoid him."

"Yeah your right. He hasn't bugged you since he gave you the invitation card, right?!"

"Yeah, he kept his distance but I'm sure there's something he's intending."

"And your still going?" Jerry was frustrated.Thiugh they had encouraged her to enjoy this...they were starting to have second thoughts.

"I have you guys to do all the worrying. I'm going to go and have fun!" She pouted and stood up to stretch. "I'll go and sleep now. I'm sure you won't be sharing with me whatever information you'll collect from those guys earlier." She spoke as she reached for her shopping bags and went to her room which was on the second floor with Emma and Jerry's room on her rooms left and right while Jason's was just across hers.
