chapter 10: Illusion Succubus

It took about 10 minutes before their evolution was completed.

The two succubus in front of me were even more charming after their evolution. Their two cute horns had turned illusionary, flickering into reality from time to time. Their scarlet red eyes had illusionary lines swirling on them.

You could catch a glimpse of your deepest desire hidden within you just by looking at those eyes.

( He definitely saw something while looking at their eyes)

" Cough... Cough..."

Let's not talk about desires for now and look at the skill that has changed.. Upgraded after their evolution.

It was a powerful skill, way better than just the ability to charm from before and it wasn't locked like the previous time.

Now, I was ready to explore the area outside the Spatial screen as it was filled with several inhabitants from the planet I had my lord space connected to.

The spatial screen is the defensive formation that protects the lord space from various monsters for about 2 weeks after awakening their lord space.

This gives every lord enough time to develop their area with a peaceful mind and helps them make future plans according to the types of warriors they were able to recruit.

" What about the monster horde attacking your territory after the protection period stops, you say?."

It all depends upon the planet your lord space is connected to, its tier, and the hostility that residents from the planet show towards the lord.

Basically, it all depends upon the luck you had when opening your lord space.

I am actually one of the lucky ones as the tier of the planet my lord space is connected to is tier-2 which can only give birth to warriors at the peak of tier two at most right now.

" I'm confident about having my territory on the tier-2 planet due to the fact my territorial potential is at tier-2."

And my first two recruits are already at the peak of tier one. They were already powerhouses amongst the warriors from the planet.

So, with a peaceful mind, I asked Lily, one of the succubus I had named earlier to go and explore the environment outside the spatial screen while Lilith was busy managing the dilapidated cottage for me.

" She insisted on managing the cottage for me although it was empty.", I was speechless at first but I let her do whatever she wanted to do as I didn't have to guard anything against her and Lily as they were 100 percent loyal to me.

This was also the reason I was depressed earlier when I utilized two precious privileges when naming them.

Also, they were way more powerful now than they were after evolving, blowing any shred of dissatisfaction I had into thin air.

I told Lilith, who was humming inside the cottage before exiting the lord space.

I was still in a trance after exiting the lord's space. I was still thinking about the exhilarating process of evolving my two maids utilizing the lucky hands, on the same day after recruiting them.

" Heck, I actually evolved the attribute of my loadspace" If anyone knew about my ability to even evolve the attribute of the lordspace. Those lords from the floating cities would definitely hunt me, I wouldn't even have the chance to develop properly before being forced to work under them in a good scenario or be killed without burial in the worst-case scenario.

As for the thoughts I had, it was due to the fact talent and attributes were those characteristics of a lord and their lord space that had never been altered after they were awakened.

The powerful lords from the floating islands could increase the chance of awakening certain attributes before awakening, but talent, even they couldn't do anything about it.

The potential was something lords could enhance by using different powerful Spatial resources but having such resources was a totally different story.

OR, the lords could simply let the planet they are connected to mature increasing the limit of the strongest warrior it could give birth to in order to increase their potential.

Anyways, Both methods were hard to accomplish as the spatial resources were not something that could be found everywhere while the time it took for the planet to have the ability to produce high-tiered warriors depended on the age of the planet.

There were several powerful lords who lost their lives while researching attributes and talent but their sacrifice bore no result.

Hence, talent and attributes were the most valuable stats of any lord once they awaken. That was also the reason I was mocked and pitied by students yesterday.

After sorting out those nightmarish thoughts, I looked at my hands that were glowing before vowing to never share anything about my ability and attributes with anyone ever, even after I become powerful enough to protect myself here on Earth.

After pondering about the future development of my lord space, about which I didn't have any idea Where to start from!!?, I went down.

My mom was still in the living room watching television with full attention but the aroma of food from the kitchen made my stomach growl diverting her attention from the television.

"Man... Being lord sure is hard."I thought before smiling at her.

" Well, Isn't my little lord hungry today? Haha... Let's go to the kitchen. I've made your favorite lunch."She smiled at me before entering the kitchen.

I also entered the kitchen after her and sat on the chair while waiting for her to serve lunch.

The lunch was soon served by her. It was Fried rice, something that was famous before the spatial disaster.

This was one of the few cuisines that was still preserved till now and was an affordable dish for everyone from rich to poor.

Rich people enjoyed it with special rice that contained flare within them while ordinary people like us enjoyed it with normal rice.

"Why was it affordable you say??"

It was due to the presence of SF in the environment. Those crops that were able to evolve became the diet of those highly powerful people while those that couldn't evolve were everywhere. The time taken to ripen these crops was also shortened due to SF. Anyone could harvest those crops and sell them in the market.

The only difference between the diet of powerful and common ones was the presence of flare in their food.

Hence, nobody was malnourished due to lack of food like people used to be after the disaster which can also be considered one of the many benefits of having SF within the environment.

After having lunch and relaxing by playing games in the living room for some time, I returned to my room. My notification box was full of messages sent by my classmates asking for the newly awakened lords about their territory and the daemons recruited by them.
