Chapter 63 - Against Three Troupe Members

Axel had always been obsessed with the infamous Phantom Troupe, a notorious gang of thieves known for their deadly abilities and unpredictable nature.

When he was watching the anime itself. He tried to understand them even gave them some good thought but now that he lives in the same world as them. He believed directly that they are maniacs that needed to be cleaned off. Of course, these feelings about them does not mean that he have some sort of problem with them.

He just believed that the world will be better place if they did not existed.

"I thought before that getting close to Phantom Troupe makes no sense but this is only way that I continue to live and get stronger."

Right now, via involving himself with the main plot, Axel stalking to Nobunaga, Pakunoda, and Kortopi walking down the street. He followed them from a distance, careful not to be seen.

For hours, he followed them, watching their every move. But as they drove deeper into the city, Axel realized that he was in over his head. He had never been this close to the Troupe members before, and the danger of the situation was clear.

Pakunoda and Kortopi quickly sprang into action, realizing that they had a stalker. Nobunaga drew his sword, ready to defend himself and his fellow Troupe members.

Pakunoda aimed her gun at Axel and his other left hand hold Squala in a point-blank range.

. Kortopi stood by her side, ready to fight despite his lack of combat mastery. Axel knew that if he were to enter a full-frontal combat with three of the phantom troupe members despite Pakunoda and Kortopi being non-combatant members, things would be not good for himself.

Especially, against Nobunaga his "Freedom Teleportation" ability takes a great deal of hit and counter from his En and Sword Mastery.

As the tension in the air grew thicker, Axel knew that this was it.

"Hi, Phantam Troupe members, Nobunaga, Pakunoda and Kortopi, I am Axel."

"I would like to take my friend with you and be on my way."

As Axel said his words, his nen get surged like a waterfall and dropped down on the entire highway.

Nobunaga holding his sword with a tight grip and commented.

"He is strong, not like any other people we have encountered. Definitely more than those Shadow Group, If I were to fight him one against one, I am not sure who would win,"

Nobunaga start to talk.

"You knowing our means is weird and not expected."

"But I am not going to care about that for the time being."

Pakunoda and Nobunaga looked at each other for a second after words of Nobunaga is over.

Axel showed his two sickles and then starts to talk.

"I believe you guys are looking for information on Chain User, from him."

Squala dont understand what is happening at all. He was ready to die and protect every secret and do not tell them anything but know this man came and he tries to save his ass off..
