Daniel and Sophie spent an hour at the clothing shop with him trying on different clothes while she gave her feedback. Though her feedback usually just consisted of, "Handsome!" or "Cool!".

In the end, he left with a few sets of sweaters, T shirts, jeans, sweatpants and sneakers. There was even a coat cost a little less than 500 thousand won.

In total, Sophie had spent a little over a million won on Daniel, but she didn't seem at all pained from the cost. She happily pulled out her purse and paid the bill while saying she was just glad he liked the clothes that fit him so well.

He left the store wearing a few pieces of his newly gifted clothes - white sneakers, a pair of black ripped jeans and an oversized white sweater that still conformed nicely to his broad shoulders.

Holding on the plastic bags containing his old and new clothes, Daniel turned to Sophie, "Where do you want to go now?"

The girl in question didn't want to just let their date end so quickly. Not because she felt like she had bought his time with money, but simply because she wanted to spend more time with the person who was quickly becoming the man of her dreams.

She also took his question as a sign that he wanted to spend more time with her as well.

Getting excited, Sophie asked, "Do you want to watch a movie? I heard that the new Bong Joon Ho film is supposed to be really good."

"Sure, I'm down for anything." Daniel answered. Though she didn't claim it to be so, he still felt like he owed her a lot more than just a kiss for all the money she just spent.

He could clearly see that she had a crush on him, because why else would she spend so much money on a guy she just met? So if spending some time with her would make her happy, Daniel didn't mind.

They went to the nearby cinema.

On the way, Daniel felt like there were a lot more people looking at him. With his new clothes that only made his already good looks shine brighter, there were no lack of girls openly salivating from his appearance. Sophie felt like a queen walking next to Daniel who looked like a movie star.

It was good timing when they arrived at the cinema as they saw that the next showing was in 10 minutes.

After choosing the seats at the back, which Sophie requested, Daniel paid for the tickets for both himself and Sophie. He could at least be a gentleman for something like this.

Sophie looked way too touched at the gesture, holding on to the ticket stub like it was an award she had won after extreme effort.

They didn't buy any movie snacks. Sophie didn't like the unhealthy and fattening popcorn, while Daniel thought movie snacks was just a scam.

They went in and sat at the back of the movie theatre in their selected seats. As they sat next to each other, both were having similar but also different thoughts.

Daniel was nervous as this was the first time was watching a movie with a girl his age. This was definitely a date, right?

Sophie was nervous for another reason. Primarily due to her motivation for suggesting a movie and why she chose seats at the very back.

'I want to kiss him again…' This thought kept repeating in her mind. She thought that being in a dark, quiet space and sitting close to each other was a good accelerant for passion and romance.

Though it was still early in the day, there weren't many people watching the movie. It was afternoon on a weekday, and while most students were on their school break, this movie had already been in theatres for a few weeks already so the popularity was waning. There was no one else in their row or even in the row in front of them.

Daniel and Sophie next to each other quietly, each consumed by their own thoughts.

Seeing him looking ahead silently, perhaps a little nervous, she grinned and pointed at the arm rest in between them.

"Oppa, did you know that this cinema is quite special?"

"Hm? Why is it special?"

"All the arm rests here can be pushed up, like this."

Sophie pushed up the arm rest, turning two individual seats into one combined couple seat.

Daniel was only a little interested by that, though he was more interested in how she knew such a thing.

"Did you do this often? With a boyfriend maybe?" He asked probingly.

Sophie was caught off guard at the question, but quickly shook her head in denial, "No, I've never done this with a boy before, let alone a boyfriend… I heard about it from my friends."

"Ah, then, you never had a boyfriend before?" He asked, interested in her dating history.

"Well, I had a few in middle school but they weren't like anything serious? We only dated for a few weeks. They were just too immature."

Daniel scratched his cheek. He thought Sophie would have had a more prolific dating history, given how bold she was with hugging his arm… He also wondered if he was mature. Mature looking maybe.

Sophie then turned the question to him, "What about you, oppa? With how handsome you are, you must have many girlfriends before right? How many hearts have you broken?"

"No, not really. I have never dated anyone before." Daniel was shy to admit that not only had he not dated anyone before, this was even the first time he had ever went out with a girl before. No girl ever said the words "I like you" or "Let's go out" to him before.

"You never had an official girlfriend before, huh? Was it because you are a playboy that wouldn't commit to them?" Sophie teasingly asked.

Daniel got flustered, "What? That's not, I wouldn't-"

"Relax oppa, I was just joking. You wouldn't play with a girl's heart, would you?"

"…" Daniel didn't even know how to answer her. What did it mean to play with a girl's heart? Even if he wanted to, he didn't know how to do it.
