After everyone introduced each other, Shizuka seemed to be somewhat relieved, saying that she was worried that she was the only adult in the group and now the responsibility was shared.

They were surprised knowing that he was just a bodyguard taking into account how well equipped he was. They would rather say that he was a soldier or at least a police officer to which Kakashi briefly responded that he used to be a police officer back in the days.

"Finally someone competent arrived." Said Saya with a snort. Worrying that she might die if it was just them, she was now relieved that someone appropriate came and ensure their safety.

Takashi glanced at her, a little displeased at her attitude but didn't say anything. It was just the way she was, but that annoyed him if had to be honest.

Ignoring her statement, Kakashi approached a white-haired girl. Her hair was the same shade as his, but much longer and put into a high ponytail. A pair of shiny crimson eyes carefully observed him. At a first glance, he could tell she must have been a school beauty. Her name was Tomoe Gozen, Nino's best friend and an Ace of the school archery club.

"Can you take care of this bag?" Kakashi asked her handing it to her.

"Sure, no problem." Tomoe easily agreed. She was quite happy that she at least had something to do. Being protected all the time without any contribution made her feel useless.

Kakashi thanked her and turned towards the blonde-haired nurse. "Did you come up with any sort of a plan? Or are you planning on just storming through the building?" He asked sitting on the desk and crossing his arms.

"Well, we decided to take the minibus and check on our families." Answered honestly Shizuka with a finger on her chin.

Kakashi waited for a moment and as the silence continued he raised his eyebrows as if asking 'That's it?'.

"It would be better if you think of a safe place you can go to. The outside is a total mess." Kakashi informed them stretching his neck.

"For now that bus is our only option," Takashi spoke for the first time in a while. He was quite jealous of the way Kakashi and Nino treat each other.

After Rei started going out with Igo, Takashi was hurt when he get to know that. He put on a nice smile and acted like he didn't care, but in reality, he did. After he buried his feelings, he tried to go after Nino. In the end, she was one of the prettiest girls in the school, talkative and friendly, not very smart but nor was he. Sadly for him, Nino just treated him like any other guy in school, friendly but with distance. And now seeing her blushing when Kakashi geared her up he understood why.

'*Sigh* Didn't have a chance from the start, eh? Me and my luck.' Takashi sighed to himself in his thought but didn't express anything on the outside.

"Fair enough. Then let's get going. We have wasted some time already." Kakashi hopped down from the desk and turned to Nino. "Stay close to me. If something happens, aim at the head." At what she nodded in response.

"Takashi, right?" The boy nodded. "You and I will be the vanguard, rest with a weapon stay on the sides and the back." Kakashi gave them instructions and headed towards the door.

On his way, he walked past Saeko who was eyeing him the whole time. He wanted to ask if something was wrong but when their eyes met she just looked in the other direction.

"What happened here?" Rei said aloud looking at the motionless bodies scattered around the floor. They were at the stairs to the ground floor, looking at the same image presented a level earlier. "Did you do it?"

"Yeah," Kakashi replied. "As long as you are quiet they won't notice you. Knowing that it's not hard to get rid of them."

Saya pursued her lips, her eyes glued to the bodies. "So you noticed it too? It looks like after they turned their eyes lost their functionality." She informed the rest of the group.

"Great. Thank you for telling us beforehand." Takashi said sarcastically at what Saya snorted.

The door on their left slowly opened. Kakashi immediately aimed at the door, ready to fire.

"P-Please, don't shoot!" A scared boy almost yelled when he saw an unknown man point his gun at him.

"Takuzo! Naomi and Kawamoto are here too! Thank god you are alive!" Rei walked towards them and hugged the girl who starts crying suddenly.

Naomi went on saying that she thought everyone else was already dead or escaped, leaving only them in the school. Takuzo then asked if they could join their group to which Takashi agreed after he get the nod from Kakashi.

Kakashi then leads everyone to the area near the front entrance. They were forced to stop when they found a group of "them" blocking their way.

Kakashi informed them to be absolutely quiet and sneak past them in pairs. He and Nino went first, with the young girl holding onto the back of his vest while closely watching under her feet to not trip over something. She did her best to ignore roaming undead. It would be pathetic to mess up in that situation.

A few moments later they safely arrived at the entrance. Nino sighed in relief but her hands were slightly trembling. She looked up to see Kakashi patting her head gently. "You did well. Just a little more and we will be at home." His words reassured her as she silently enjoyed the moment, despite walking corpses around them.

Next, the rest swiftly did the same as Kakashi and Nino. The only one left was the three newcomers and a few others from their group. The other group seemed to do well until one of the boys unintentionally bumped his weapon into the metal door frame triggering the zombies instantly.

"Run!" Takashi yelled as everyone dashed outside towards the bus.

They could hear the screams behind them as undead grabbed the members of the new group and started devouring them on spot.

"Takuzo!" Screamed Naomi leaving the group and running towards her boyfriend. She witnessed him getting grabbed by the walker who sunk his teeth into his flesh. He managed to kill him, but he was still bitten.

"Naomi!" Shouted Nino, but the black-haired girl just smiled sadly and remained at her boyfriend's side, choosing to die alongside him.

The rest engaged in fierce combat making their way towards the minibus.

Kakashi could witness the combat skills his group possessed. Rei was moving swiftly between the walkers, each strike either aimed at their head or their legs, tripping them over. She had great footwork.

Saeko on the other hand was more fierce. Using her bokken she smashed the heads of the undead while keeping her moves as simple and effective as possible. Her combat abilities were extraordinary for someone of her age as she kept killing the zombies while defending Shizuka who wasn't a fighter at all. What was strange though, was that she seemed to enjoy the situation unlike most of them.

The next one was Takashi, but there wasn't anything exceptional in him. He just swung his metal bat crushing the heads of the undead. Even if his performance wasn't anything impressing, you couldn't deny his effectiveness.

Kohta with his makeshift gun did pretty well too. He didn't aim at random zombies, but rather at those closest to him when he was 100% sure he won't miss. The boy seemed to have a good eye for support as he took down a few walkers approaching of which Takashi and Rei were unaware.

But as Kakashi observed them, they also observed him.

He decided to not use the gun at the moment and instead, fight with the knife in close combat. Everyone including Saeko, who especially paid more attention to him, was stunned at his fighting skills. Kakashi dodged every single one of the undead's attacks while countering them with precise strikes of his knife. Sometimes instead of stabbing he just punched the zombies on the head, knocking them down to the ground.

Saeko didn't expect him to move so well despite all the extra weight he put on himself. But what surprised her more was the power behind his punches and kicks. To be able to knock down a person every single time required quite the strength. Also protecting Nino who was told to not shoot by Kakashi, as the gunshot would attract even more of them, didn't seem to cause him much trouble.

Losing a few people, they managed to get towards the bus. Shizuka went first and immediately sat in the driver's seat trying to start the engine, which succeed after the second try. After Shizuka was Nino and the rest soon followed with Kakashi, Saeko, and Takashi being last to enter as they kept the undead away from the bus.

"Damn it. More of them are coming." Kakashi glanced at the corner of the building. From behind it, several dozens of the undead marched in their direction. "Get on the bus! We are moving out!" He yelled towards Takashi and Saeko.

Saeko turned toward the incoming crowd of zombies but at that moment the undead she thought she killed lunged at her side.

"Gaaarh!!!" The undead growled baring his teeth.

Being in the middle of the swing at another undead, Saeko tried to dodge but she knew if she did it she would bump into another walker.

*Bam!*

Her blue eyes widened as Kakashi suddenly appeared next to her kicking the undead at the head cracking its skull open, killing it instantly.

'So fast!' Thought Saeko.

"Thank you." She said with gratitude receiving a simple nod in response.

Getting inside the bus, Kakashi was the last one to enter, but as he was about to tell Shizuka to close the door,

"Wait! Wait for us!" They could hear the male voice yelling at them.
