Chapter two

Words stopped coming out of her mouth. "Hi, Emma." said the doctor. " Felix?.." Emma said in doubt. " yeah, it's been a long Time. How have you been. " Felix replied.

Emma didn't know how to react. The person who betrayed her six years ago. The harsh feelings once again hit her. Emma hurried and came back to her senses. She asked to take off her IV. And to let her go to see Luke.

After Emma signed some documents, she quickly got changed and went to look for Luke. But when she arrived, Luke wasn't in the ICU. So she turned back and found a nurse. " perdon me, but do you know what happened to the person in this room?."Emma asked." Yes. He was taken to another room, as his condition was better. Let me take you there." replied the nurse.

After walking for a few minutes, the nurse stopped. It was the 24th room." This is where the patient is. Take a look." said the nurse." thank you". When Emma touched the door knob, her heart started to beat fast and loud. Despite all the doubts she opened the door.

Emma found Luke on the bed. His head was wrapped in bandages, and he had an oxygen mask on. Emma slowly closed the door and walked towards Luke. Her mind went blank when she saw him like that. Emma sat on the chair next to Lukes bed and held his hands. It was warm as always. "why did you do this to your self,..... Why!?.." Emma screamed in her mind. She wiped her tears and grabbed his hand even tighter.

After crying all day she thought that it's not going to solve anything. So she got her self back together and went outside to get some fresh air. On the way out she saw a grandma, carrying a bag of orenges. She was about to cross the road but the orenges fell on the ground and scattered everywhere. Luckily she wasn't on the middle of the road. Otherwise who would know what could've happened.

Emma hurried and collected them. Some of them were damaged though. " what a lovely young lady, thanks for your help" said the grandma. "No it's not a big problem glad I could help." Emma replied. " I would like to treat you some thing." said the grandma. Emma smiled "No, it ok." Emma replied. The granny smiled, and left.

Helping someone, gives a euphoric feeling. And Emma felt the same way. After a day of dreadfulness Emma finally felt happy. She then went home and took a shower. After the shower she put on her baggy hoodie and shorts. When she was going to the kitchen to drink some water, her phone started to ring. She quickly went and answered the phone.

"Hello, is this Emma wilton? ". A women's voice. "yes, may I know who am I speaking to?.." Emma replied. "this is the hospital ABC, we are here to inform you that Mr. Luke has been conscious And is looking for you." said the receptionist. " thank you, I'll be there in a few minutes." Emma replied.

Emma quickly changed her clothes and went out side. She called a cab and went to the hospital. It was night so, luckily there was no traffic. Emma tried not to be too exited but the big smile on her face couldn't hide her exitement.
