First Move

Nathan arrived at a shopping area in Magnolia and stopped at one of the magic shops.

After a few minutes he walked around the shops to find the object he was looking for, he finally found it.

The corner of Nathan's mouth twitched because the object he was looking for was not too difficult to find.

After buying it, Nathan returned to the guild to choose one of the jobs on the request board. There are too many jobs available ...

Literally, jobs vary in difficulty and are divided into different ranks. The current known ranks are Normal, S-Class, SS-Class, 10-Year, and 100-Year Jobs.

It divided as such in order to have the Mages distinguish them by the level of difficulty involved. This also helps a Mage select a Job that is convenient of their capability.

Of course, the job that Nathan is looking for right now is Normal level.

The Normal level job is to cater to Mages of different levels of strengths, and a Mage does not need to be exceptionally strong to undertake these assignments. Also, the reward is variable upon the task required to complete.

As a new member, Nathan does not have the qualifications to choose a job whose level is above the Normal level, even if he has the capability as an S class mage.

He only needed to take a simple job in the Oshibana Station area, the place where Natsu's team pursued the dark guild, Eisenwald Guild.

Nathan felt dizzy seeing too many job requests on the board, he only needed to find one job request that was in the vicinity of Oshibana Station.

"Mira-san, is there a job request that I can take in the area near Oshibana Station?" Nathan asked casually.

Mirajane immediately opened sheets of paper requesting jobs that were not posted on the request board. She searched for the job one by one as Nathan asked.

"Oh ... just a very simple job, the request is to be a waiter at a coffee cafe in the northern part of Oshibana Station, do you want to take this job young Nathan?" Mirajane smiled gently.

After thinking for a while, this work isn't too bad either. He just needs to be a coffee waiter right?

Nathan smiled happily and immediately broke through the bathroom to take a shower.

When Nathan woke up, Lucy was not in the room. Lucy's meeting with the others was scheduled in the morning at Magnolia Station.

Natsu and Gray are like water and oil, it's hard to blend together.

While Lucy who tags along to watch the two. Shortly thereafter, Erza then arrives pulling a cart full of luggage bags. It soo big, even Nathan was stunned from a distance.

When their train almost arrived, Lucy introduces herself to Erza, it seems Erza is also mistaken for Lucy being strong enough to defeat a mercenary gorilla.

Before they leave, Natsu also tells Erza that he will come only if they have a match upon return. Erza accepts Natsu's challenge and so the team gets on the train.

Naturally, Nathan followed them from a distance. His movements are too swift without causing the effects of suspicion of Natsu's team.

And without them knowing, a green-haired young man followed along the same train with them.
