In the middle of the night, Lu Xinyi jolted up from the bed with a pale face. She woke up to an overwhelming urge to vomit the contents of her stomach. Dragging herself out of the bed, she made sure not to disturb her husband and hurried toward the bathroom.
She barely made it on time before she started vomiting on the sink, throwing up all the undigested dinner she had earlier. She clutched the side of the sink as her stomach refused to calm down and hurled everything out.
With nothing left to throw up, Lu Xinyi felt miserable and disgusted as the acid feeling reached her throat. Dear Lord, why couldn't she be one of those lucky pregnant women who never suffered morning sickness throughout their pregnancy?
No. Actually, that shouldn't be called a morning sickness at all since it hit her any time of the day.
"Xinxin?"
