Vlad set to go work, he adjusted his tie and wore his braided watch, the door to his room opened and he saw two pairs of eyes staring at him through the door.

Ivanie walked in her leg better it has been up to a week since she discharged from the hospital and since she found out about her brother incident.

Vlad had tried his possible best to make her feel at home.

Vlad wore his coat and turn to face her.

"Do you need anything Ivanie?" Vlad asked looking her over.

"Ummm, can I go with you" Ivanie asked.

Vlad brow raised in surprise, his eyes warmed up he has no issues bringing her along but he wasn't sure if she would be comfortable.at the office.

"Are you sure?" Vlad asked and Ivanie nodded with a smile, she was the cutest he ever seen.

Ivanie turned and ran out so she could get dressed and accompany Vlad.

They arrived at the office and Vlad came down leading an excited Ivanie into the company building.

Although Ivanie had learned a lot about Vlad business she still wasn't aware of his iciness at work.

As they made their way in, she noticed the employee bowing low to their waist in greeting some made way for him which surprised her.

Vlad eyes were hard and he was exuding a very icy aura, the employee tried not to make eye contact with him fearing he would pick up some sort of mistake they weren't aware of.

They got to the elevator and those who had settled in were quick to rush out leaving space for Ivanie and Vlad.

Ivanie sigh she was most uncomfortable with the atmosphere.

She turn to face Vlad and tried looking up his face, he had his hands pocketed and seem concentrated.

Vlad noticed a package of cuteness staring up at him, he shifted his gaze and look down at her.

Ivanie showed him her fingers with a smile and say.

"Me hands are cold would you mind warming them up" Ivanie said acting silly" Vlad look away and Ivanie pouted in disappoinment, the next seconds her hand was snatched by Vlad and it disappeared into his coat.

Ivanie smiled coilly hopping behind Vlad as he walk out the elevator and made his way to his office.

Surprise was written on most of the employee face seeing their big boss holding the hand of a lady who had a big smile written on her face.

As soon as he got far from them, they whispered to each other.

*Who was that?*

*She can't be our lady boss right*

*No she looks too young*

*See how she's dressed, she isn't from a ordinary family, she must be rich as well*

*Maybe his sister?*

*Silly he wouldn't hold her like that*

*Girlfriend?*

*Shusshh, go to work*

Xenia came out her office discussing with her secretary she caught sight of Vlad, she was about calling him when she noticed a tiny figure behind him.

Xenia jaw tighten. 'why was Ivanie at the office'.

James walk into Vlad office and the first thing that caught his sight was that of Ivanie who sat on Vlad desk going through his system.

He look over to the couch surprise written all over his face, Vlad was occupying the couch and working.

"Sir?" James called coming in, Vlad raise his head to him.

"Hmm" Vlad replied.

Ivanie also raised her head to acknowledge James.

"Um you have a meeting with the investors around 9:00pm and this is quarter passed eight" James said checking his time schedule.

Vlad looked at his time and got up his seat, he walk over to Ivanie and bend over her, he did some little work on his system before standing properly.

"I would be back I have a little business to do, for the meantime you can tour around the office if you are bored. You can ring the office line for some snacks or whatever you wish to have" Vlad told her.

Ivanie nodded her head in understanding, Vlad pat her hair and walk away with James.

Jace drop off at the convenience store, he made his way to the counter and knock on the slab,

The cashier raise her head and look over at him, her lips broke into a smile.

"Jace" Jaennie called excitedly, they were on a break and she hadn't seen him in a while.

"How are you Jaennie?" Jace asked looking through the rank behind her, his eyes scan the snacks arranged in other behind her.

"Am fine busy with life" she replied looking away from him while discarding the receipts on the slab , she cleared out what she was doing and raise the slab inorder to get out.

She followed Jace and sat close to the glass view.

"How has things been with the rest, I haven't really been able to communicate with anyone ever since the holiday" Jaennie told him.

"Malachi is doing fine, Britney is also good, Ivanie had been discharged from the hospital, I heard she's staying with Vlad the last time I visited, so not much going on" Jace said he dip down and suck on the straw of the drink Jaennie offered him.

Jaennie smiled and nodded she look out seeing passer by walk along going about their business.

"Was it June?" Jace asked.

"Unh" Jaennie turn to look at him.

"The day we first met?" Jace said also looking out the window.

"Ah umm June is it? Don't think that's my first time though " Jaennie replied silently looking away.

"You were always bullied by the rest but you still never stopped smiling. At first I thought that was odd, or perhaps you were a weirdo. Why do you smile there was nothing special about it, but you made it seem so easy like Nothing else matters" Jace said and faced Jaennie.

Jaennie didn't know he noticed, she must have been way too carefree" she thought biting on her lower lips. 'Does he sees me as a weirdo, won't he be my friend again?' different thought ran through Ivanie mind she wasn't what to think.

"I like someone, she's rather very Unique" Jace told Jaennie and her heart dropped, she cast down her head biting her lips hard.

Sure Jace would never like someone like her, what did she think, their world are too different she could never meet up.

"Would you like to see what she looks like?" Jace asked, Jaennie drench the moment but she could never refuse Jace.

Jace scroll through his phone and finally turn it to her, at first Jaennie didn't want to look but she was compelled to see who had capture his heart this time. Slowly she raise her head and look at his phone.

Jaennie was dump folded, she lean forward to be sure she was seeing things, there was no way that could have been her right but that looks like what she wore most of the time.

In the picture she was smiling unaware at the farm must have been when they went on a vacation.

"I love it when you smile, I took a picture so I could see it more clearly and honestly it turned out beautiful, I couldn't stop my self from viewing it everytime and wanting more."

"Jace" Jaennie was short of words she couldn't express the leaping joy in her heart.

She had always had a one-sided feeling for him, ever since she first started schooling with him, she always wanted to be close.

She would secretly stare at him from across the class and made sure her schedule was similar to his, she would attend his football training and watch him train.

she knew when he got on with Ivanie and she had decided to give up, but some how here she was being confessed to by Jace.

Jace leaned in, their face close he stare at her with a slight nervousness not sure if she wanted this.

He wasn't like Malachi who was comfortable with having it with any girl.

Even while he dated Ivanie they had never gotten physical once and he had never felt the need to, but with Jaennie it was different.

Every bone in him was awaken by the urge to have a taste of her, Jaennie was alluring and she pulls him in even without lifting a finger.

Jaennie took the initiative to close the distance between them, her lips touch his in a soft motion pressing against him.

Jace lean forward wanting more, he push his tongue in and took over completely since Jaennie was shying away.

Jace pulled her close and smoocher kisses against her lips. His heart beat fast he could barely keep up, their kiss was slow and tender both savouring the moment.

Jace pulled back and raise his brow to look at Jaennie who's in a daze, her cheek flushed her lips plumb and even more bright pink from it usually nude color.

"I like you too Jace" Jaennie told him.
