Raise of Guardian Angels

It was a moment in that day when heaven decided to return the guiding process system in which every human will have a guardian angel. It’s been a long time since this process has been stopped because of Khalister, an evil angel. He ruined the trust of every single parent on earth by putting their child into danger. After that event, heaven noticed that the number of parents who have faith in their angels is decreasing, so they decided to train the chosen angels to be physically and emotionally strong. The group of guardian angels has three rules; first, you’re not able to have a conversation with humans. Second, you’re not able to share any secrets about heaven. And last, you must not ever share romantic love to a human and show adoration and worship to them.

“Angel Raphael, you are assigned as the guardian angel to the daughter of Rosa and Alfred.” Cathlea said, one of the trustworthy angels in heaven. Angel Raphael is a warrior angel, he was assigned to guide many humans before and he never failed his task. He knew how to fight evil angels, protect humans and to control human temptation. Rosa and Alfred are never tired of praying to God about having a child, they never blame God on their situation in life, in their sickness and problems. Heaven decided to choose the best angel for their child so they chose angel Raphael.

Rosa woke up with a smile on her face and tears of joy, she is finally two months pregnant for her first daughter at the age of 55, “This is an answer prayer, Alfred!” she said to her husband, they hugged each other as a sign of priceless happiness. The sun was already seeping in their room, it was six o'clock exactly. Alfred went to their kitchen to cook some breakfast for her wife---a dry fish and fried rice. They don't have a lot of money, Alfred is a farmer and Rosa is a dressmaker.

While they’re eating, they talked about what will be the name of their daughter, “What if let’s name her Andrea?” Alfred asked her wife but her wife doesn't want that name, Alfred chuckled after he saw her wife’s reaction. “Adele, let’s name her Adele.” Rosa said, “Why did you choose that name over a million of names?” Alfred said while looking at Rosa’s side, “ Because Adele means honor, virtue and goodness.” Alfred smiles after he heard that wonderful explanation.

Alfred worked hard to save a lot of money for her wife’s pregnancy. He works day and night, there’s no excuse even if he is sick. He went out, wrapping a towel around his body, and went over to the river. He saw his wife washing their clothes next to the river. Alfred feared that his wife might slip into the river so he ran fast toward his wife.

“I said you must stay inside our house, why are you here?” he raised his voice as he asked her wife, Rosa was frightened by what Alfred showed her. “So-sorry, I’m just scared, it might bad happen to you.” he looked worried, he hugged his wife very tight and he guided his wife to go home.

“You must take some rest, Alfred.” Rosa said while lying down in their bed. “Shh, don’t worry about me, think of yourself and our baby.” he smiles and kisses Rosa on her forehead.

Just a month and Rosa is about to give birth, the couple is already preparing for the coming of their child. Priceless laughs and smiles, that’s what you can see on their faces. The couple was sitting under a beautiful sunset, the wind had dropped and the afternoon heat had become crushing. “I can’t wait to see our little angel’s face.” Rosa smiled, “Me too.” Alfred replied. Everything went fine that afternoon but Alfred suddenly weakened, he was attacked by his asthma. Rosa panicked, she no longer knew what to do, there were no people around so no one could ask for help. She looked at the sky to ask God to help them. Later on there were two young people who helped them. When they got to the ambulance, Rosa arranged for Alfred to lie down, when she finished, she immediately looked for the two men to thank but suddenly found them disappearing like bubbles. “They are like angels sent down from heaven.” she whispered.

Angel Raphael was totally ready to go down to guide Adele from childhood to old age, He missed to be a chaperone of a human. Angel Raphael looks excited and happy. The time in heaven was a thousand years further than the actual time on earth. Angel Raphael was born in human form but he died when her mother chose his twin over him, he never experienced to see the beautiful creatures on earth.

On a sunny morning of July 1009, a little girl named Adele was born healthy and pretty. Her parents were so happy and proud. They can’t explain how they felt, no words can explain how happy they are, no measuring tools can measure how thankful they are.

The gate of heaven opened for the second time, Angel Raphael and the millions of angels came down to fulfil their duty as the child's guardian angels.

The sky was blue, the wind was cold, the sun was bright, everything was perfect when the guardian angels came to the side of newborn babies. Heaven finally declares victory and celebrates their success.

5 years later…

“How are you, Alfred?” Rosa asked, “I’m fine, don’t worry. Go look for Adele outside, I need to rest here.” Alfred answered. Rosa nods, then she goes outside to look for their child.

“Hey what’s your name?” Adele asked, “Please answer me little boy!” Adele looked sad when she turned around. “Who are you talking to,Adele?” Adele got shocked when she saw her mother. “No-nothing mom, I’m ju-just...oh nevermind mom.”

Adele saw a little boy behind the tree, the boy looked so nervous and he didn’t talk. After a minute Rosa goes inside their house to check the condition of Alfred. Alfred’s illness worsened due to poverty, they had no money for medication and hospitalization. They didn't know what to do. Rosa suggested borrowing money from someone from the city but Alfred did not agree because he was wondering where to get the payment after. Rosa decided to go to the city to find a job that suits her-- a dress maker.

Sunday in the afternoon when Rosa finally got a job she asked for her first to fifth salary, it’s ten thousand dollars to buy medicine.

Rosa goes to San Agustin church near the city market it’s almost 6:00 pm in the evening, she goes inside and sits in the front row.

“Please, I”ll do anything for my husband, guide us o Lord. Our child is too young, she still needs her father for a long time.” Rosa kneeled while praying. She continued her prayer while her eyes were closed, she showed her sincerity.

“Excuse me, miss?” an altar boy said. Rosa was surprised when she heard the man, she did not notice that she fell asleep while praying. She immediately stood up and fixed himself, she looked at his watch and hurried out of the church, it’s 8 o’clock in the evening.

As Rosa walked home on the dark road, she felt as if someone had followed her, at first she ignored it but as time went on she felt it got closer to her, she walked fast until she reached the bright side of the road to look back and see who was following.

“Give me all your stuff!” a man wearing a black pants and shirt shouted while holding his gun pointed to Rosa’s chest.

“Don’t hurt me please, I still have a family to go home” Rosa pleaded. The man pulled out his gun to Rosa’s forehead, “You have a big mistake from the past that can ruin your life now. You deserve this!”. The guy fired his gun to Rosa...“My family-- Adele, Alfred. I am not ready to die yet, I still have a lot to do with them.” Rosa whispered before everything went black.

Meanwhile Rosa did not know that her boss was the one who ordered the crime to be committed against her. it is the result of revenge in the past.

30 years ago…

“Rosa, let Benedict marry you! This is for your own sake!” Mildred said, “No mother! I don’t want to marry a person who can’t treat me well and who can’t see me as a lady! Let me go mother! I want to go to Alfred. He is the one that I want to be with...a lifetime.” Rosa suddenly ran out and went to the forest.

“I’m sorry, Benedict. I can't do anything else, my daughter doesn't want you.” Benedict cries hard when he knows that Rosa will never let him enter her life.

Benedict Echo was obsessed with Rosa since they were teenagers, he wants to get Rosa no matter what happens, even if he loses his wealth. Echo Family was a very rich family in their place. Benedict was the younger son of Elisa and Mario Echo, he can get whatever he wants but he will never get Rosa’s love and affection.

One day the Echo family found out that their son Benedict had committed suicide in his room, the first to see the corpse is Marco the only brother of Benedict. Marco promised to himself and to his brother that he would never stop until Rosa's life got miserable when they crossed paths again.

Rosa opened her eyes, she saw a guy in front of her shining like a star in heaven.

“I’m a-alive.”she whispered. “You are safe now, Rosa. Go home and your family are waiting for you.”
