Cured, Father-Son Time

They woke up early in the morning and packed their fishing gear, sandwiches, and drinks for the day. They drove to a nearby lake and set uptheir fishing spot. Juan showed Tomas how to set up his fishing rod and they both cast their lines into the water. They waited patiently for a nibble while chatting about their favorite fishing experiences.

As they waited, they talked about Lassie and how happy they were that she was cured of cancer. Tomas said he was grateful that their family pet was healthy again, and Juan nodded in agreement. They both looked forward to going home and enjoying Luz's homemade mini pizzas as a special treat.

A few hours into their fishing trip, Tomas felt a tug on his line. He excitedly reeled in his catch and found a decent-sized trout on the end of his line. Juan helped him remove the hook and put the fish in their cooler.

As the day progressed, they caught a few more fish and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of the lake. They talked about their plans for the rest of the summer and how they wanted to go on a family trip to the beach.

When the sun started to set, they packed up their gear and drove home. Luz greeted them with a warm smile and the delicious smell of homemade pizza filled the air. They sat down and enjoyed their meal together, grateful for the time spent fishing and the good news about Lassie's recovery.
