Life Of A Young Author

Klein, a high schooler who has been locking himself in his room ever since he lost his best friend. His mother never bothered pushing him to go to school. Since he had nothing to do, he started writing novels online. He got a lot of 5 stars reviews but somehow his book is never 5 stars! He needs to look for the comment with no 5 stars! He continued writing until his fifth book was published online. Suddenly, a reader of his reaches out to him and wishes him luck with his new book. It was normal to him but when he checked the person’s account, he saw their past comments. Turns out they had commented a lot on his book and he reads every comment written by them. He was shocked to find the person pointing out his mistake and their opinion on his book. Not a full 5 stars review! Never once he felt hurt by review until this person appears. K: Do you mind if I offer you to be my assistant. K.DMed.ME: O.O? And that...is how Klein made his first friend. ~ Warning: Contain(s): slight bl Not so good English triggering topics ~ Criticism are welcome in the comment section!

"...What is that?"

"It's my cousin! My father is showing my aunt and her husband around so I have to take care of him for now."

"...Will he disturb us while we're working?"

"No! Tim is not that kind of kid!"

Klein decided to trust his assistant and let them both in. Han put Tim on Klein's bed and they started planning for the new chapter together. This time, it was a chapter about the main character meeting his alternate universe self.

Han was so excited when he heard the news and asked Klein to plan it together with him.

Klein wasn't too excited about this chapter because it literally means that he has to write the main character as the most normal, active and happy go lucky person. If you can be lazy, why bother be active?

Han also checked on Tim and played with him while waiting for Klein to ask for help. Tim keeps glancing at Klein which is noticeable but Klein ignores the kid completely. Well, Klein hated children since…he doesn't have a good memory with any of them.

When he saw Tim, he couldn't help but wonder what the kid wanted? He even checked out Klein's work when Han went to the toilet and left them both only in the room. He quickly sat back down when Han got back though.

Is the child…

Interested in writing too?

Klein still doesn't care about Tim and when Han finally gets to see the chapter he wrote, the assistant starts to list something that irks Klein to death. Han stated that the main character's friends are still the same and they needed to have their own alternate universe too. Klein pouted and edit his work again.

This time, Tim decides to approach Han to watch Klein writing, which makes Han lift the boy up and put him on his lap. Han could actually see that Tim is more focused on watching Klein's face who's seriously typing without even giving Tim any attention.

Han finally got it now, Tim wanted Klein to talk to him.

"You see…Big brother's friend right now is busy! He can talk with you after his work is done. Okay?"

"...Okay…" Tim answered softly.

When Klein was done and his work was approved by Han, they finally went out together to eat at a restaurant. Not that Klein wanted to go but Han was eager to bring Tim out and this is also a chance to hang out with Klein too. They enter the fast food restaurant and order one burger each.

"What would you like to drink?"

"I will take a coke and for the kid, he would like the same!"

They look at Klein who's staring deep into the order.

"...Uh…Strawberry soda?"

"Sir- that's not in the order. We can't provide that here."

"...Ah! Right…I will have a bottle of water."

Well, he certainly wasn't focusing on the drinks part at the order just now so we knew why he ordered the wrong stuff. Again, both teens saw the child glancing at Klein who's just trying to live his life while he can.

"I have one of your books."

This froze not only Klein but also Han. Did they just hear that Tim is actually one of Klein's readers? Han was freaking out before he finally gathered his sanity and explained to Tim about Klein's situation.

"I can't tell people that you're the writer of Sword of Love?"

"Yes- and I thought the story isn't suitable for a child?" Klein questioned himself.

But, now they know why the child is interested in Klein and his books. They get their food, finish it and walk out from that place. Right when they're about to part ways, Han helps Tim up and he signs Han to bring him closer to Klein.

What surprised them is that the boy is hugging Klein now.

"I wanted to write a book too when I am older."

"It's a novel."

Han laughs at Klein who decides to focus on the useless topic instead of encouraging the child to follow his dream. They went their own way with Klein staring at his phone. He saw Han posting a picture of them together at the fast food restaurant and gave it a like.

The child was absolutely adorable but creepy at the same time.

"At least his father is still with him and not going out for some milk."

~

After that incident, Han had sent a text to Klein about how much his cousin had talked about Klein to his parents. They're glad to know that Han befriends someone kind and not some delinquent. If only they knew Han is actually his assistant.

Klein looked at his book and saw a new comment of the day.

'DragonRoll: So~ When will we meet the loli character? Every school has a loli character right?

Replies:

JunMin: Ew DISGOSTING!

K: …I am calling the cops.

DragonRoll: No wait! K, I was joking!'

This also makes Klein chuckles a bit. It was a rare situation but it happened. Klein has emotions…wow. Even the god himself was surprised that's why Klein got to have a fan who spoiled him with gifts today.

He saw Woo Young posting a picture of her and Hana working at Hana's part time job. The manager in the background looks rather happy to see Hana having more friends than before. Everyone is growing up and people around them are proud.

Klein gets a message from a person in the finding friends apps.

ABC: How tall are you?

DancingDonkey: Yes.

Klein leaves it there and watches his television in the living room for the first time. What's surprising is that…he doesn't even recognize the people on the television. Is it his fault or is it the world's fault for making weird people popular?

???: Big news! Those who drink coffee today won't be able to sleep!

Woo Young: How are you?

Klein: …I can't sleep.

Woo Young: Have you try sleeping?

Klein: (ಠ_ಠ)
