Chapter 1

For a long period of time, the war between races was going on. Mainly the war between Humans and vampires as both races shared the same continent. The war was continued for over 200 Years and countless people lost their life until a mysterious group called Vamans showed up. The group contained people from both races vampires and humans. Those people were the ones who wanted to end the war for the sake of both races.

In the year 231, The war was finally brought to an end when both sides surrendered to the mysterious group. The mysterious group called Vamans was only able to win because as the war prolonged the people started to lose will to keep fighting as the only thing they received in return was pain and suffering. And of course, it was the same for both races. And when the people started to crumble so did the army for both sides.

And when both races were practically on their knees the mysterious group showed up and along with their forces, they attacked both races. The leader of the group was a young vampire and the vice-leader of the group was a young woman. And they were also lovers. When the group attacked both races. Their leader attacked the kingdom of Vampire known as Decor. And the vice leader attacked the Kingdom of Humans known as Blaze.

They defeated the little what remaining soldiers and they slew the Kings of the respective races. And after they won the battle the group declared that the barren land where the war took place will be the new country for both races and it will be known as Vaman. And thus the war ended and both races were at peace like never before. After the Country was built, the residents requested to make their leader the king of their country. The leader declined but due to huge pressure from the people at last he gave in accepting the position he became king of the country.

After 5 years, Year 226.

In the royale palace of the kingdom of Vaman.In the middle of the garden, a small boy is standing in a horse stance position spreading both of his hand forward and is meditating. Slowly the particles of light are being collected near his heart and are slowly shaping into a ball-like structure. His face starts to tense up gradually and drops of sweat are rolling down his forehead. Anyone can tell how deeply he is focusing. But after a while when the ball-like structure seems to be nearly complete suddenly the light disperses.

He falls on the ground with a thud. The sun is at its peak. He is gasping for air and slowly leans on the ground he raises his left hand towards the sky and slowly clenches his fist. He thinks" So I failed again, huh! But I will never give up. I will definitely be a great person so that my mom and dad will be proud of me."

He puts down his hand. Suddenly a breeze starts and sways the heat of the sun. He slowly closes his eyes. After a while, He hastily tries to wake up after smelling the sweet fragrance he is very familiar with. But before he could open his eyes, his soft reddish cheeks are touched with two soft hands and his head is placed on a very familiar lap. He touches those hands and says...

[ Mom, I couldn't manifest my core again! ]. He says watching in her face from her lap.

[ It's okay, Blade. Don't rush, when the right time comes you will be able to manifest your core.] she says with a heartwarming smile and starts caressing his head.

[ But I want to be just like you and dad as soon as possible so that both of you can be proud of me. ] He says and smiles at his mom.

[ But for that you have to be very healthy. And today morning I saw you were sneaking out without breakfast to train secretly.] She says in a sad tone.

He freaks out and says...

[ B..But I wanted to surprise both of you by awakening my core.]

[ I said before you don't have to rush. Normally people can only awaken at the age of 10 and you are only 6 years old. How can you manifest so early? The fastest someone manifested their core was at the age of 8. So, you don't have to try so hard. Okay? ]- She says in a sweet voice and kisses on his forehead.

He hurriedly gets up from her lap and nods. She too gets up and holding his hand takes him inside the palace. While they are making their way inside the castle on the way they bump into a woman with a small girl catching her fingers. Blade's mom letting go of his hand hugs her.

Blade watches the woman and his mom hugging each other. They start saying to each other how much they missed each other. And after they both let go of each other Blade's mom pats at his back and says" Go blade. Introduce yourself to your aunt."

He hurriedly puts his hand on his chest and slightly bows down and says" Nice to meet you, Aunt amelia. I am the son of Damien Sartre and Marie Sartre, Blade Sartre. I have heard a lot about you from both my mother and father."

She laughs and rubbing his head says" What a gentleman you are, aren't you blade?"

His mom is smiling and he blushes a little. His mom and his aunt start talking. When he notices a girl with pink hair peeking from behind his aunt. He waves his hand towards her and gives a friendly smile. She hurriedly hides behind her mom. His aunt notices it and she moves to the side and patting the little girl says" Why don't you introduce yourself, Eve?"

She holds tightly to her dress and says" Nice t..to meet y..you. I am Eve crimson. Daughter of Stain c..crimson and Michaela crimson." and bows down at last.

His mom squats on the ground and says" Hi eve, Nice to meet you. I am your aunt Marie and this is your cousin Blade( Blade waves at her.). You don't need to be shy around us, okay?"

Eve nods and says" o..okay".

" Don't worry, You will soon be our family. Marie says and laughs. Eve and Blade are staring at her unable to comprehend what she meant by that.

She soon changes the topic saying" Let's get inside and let's have some food."

After their food. Eve and Blade are left together at the castle while their mothers went for some business. At first Eve was very shy around Blade but because of Blade's friendly gesture, she started to open up. They played together and talked about a lot of things and later in the evening both of their parents came back. Apparently eve's father also came and after he greeted him. He came to know that eve's father was the commander of the army. Without any seconds to delay he requests him to train him. Stain agrees and goes to the ground to train him. Eve requests to go along them.

They start their training. Stain teaches them the basics steps for close-ranged combat. After training for a whole two hours without any rest, He falls on the ground panting strongly. Stain sits down and says to him to stop training for today. But Blade strongly denies and asks him to continue the training. Due to Blade's requests stain accepts to continue but this time he makes it harder and after 30 minutes Blades falls on the ground again. But this time he doesn't says anything about continuing. Instead, he spreads on the ground and pants harder than before and says" Let's continue tomorrow."

Stain smiles and says to himself" What kind of monster will he be in the future? I can't wait to see it."

He asks Eve to watch over him and walk towards the palace.

Blade is on the ground his eyes are closed and is still panting hard till now. She slowly lies down near him and asks" Why are you trying so hard to train?"

Blade says with a bright face and raising his hand towards the sky" I want to be stronger like my mom and dad. No, even stronger than my mom and dad. And one day I will do something great just like how my parents did by unifying both humans and vampires. So, my mom and dad will be very proud of me." and he clenches his fist after saying it.

She stares at him for a moment. Blade says" What happened? Is there on my face?" and touches his face. She says" It's nothing." and faces another side while her face is turned beet red.
