Chapter 60: Time Skip

(A/N: I accidently mixed up the names at the end of last chapter... Saiga was the name of the son, while Hayato was the name of the old man... I changed it to the correct name in this chapter, but won't go back to change it from last chapter)

[T-The winner is the mysterious master…]: akisame

Soren was referred to as the mysterious master, as nobody knew his name yet, but Soren didn't like how he was referred to as mysterious master, and quickly spoke up.

[The name's Soren… Do you still think I am unqualified to live here with you all?... If so, I wouldn't mind taking on both you and the blonde over there]: soren

When Akisame heard that Soren was still willing to fight, he felt a bit of fear, as hidden within Soren's eyes, was the look of a killer who has killed countless opponents, and wouldn't flinch at the sight of a dead body.

[No need… You may stay here with us… Once Hayato wakes up, we can do introductions]: akisame

Soren only nodded at his words, before he was led by Akisame to a spare room, while the blonde guy had left to go attend to some errands. Soon, the early morning came, as Soren was now in the main room, with Nikita sitting next to him, while Hayato and Akisame were sitting across from him, as tea was being poured by Hayato's son, Saiga.

[So I hear your name is Soren… You must be a foreigner… My name is Hayato Furinji, one of the founders of this dojo that is a home for the extraordinary martial artists with no place else to go… Even if you lost to me, if I judged your skill at an acceptable level, I would have opened my home to you anyway]: Hayato

Soren gave a slight smile as he took a small sip from the teacup that was placed before him.

Hayato listened to Soren's words as he also took a sip from the teacup, before setting it down and speaking.

Second, I would like you to write down your fighting style in this book, as you challenged this dojo… As for the cost for challenging us, you can pay up anytime in the future, and it would be 10,000 Yen]: Hayato

Soren noticed how silverous Hayato was, to even go as far as asking for money even after losing, but Soren didn't mind, as he just nodded his head, knowing that he would basically be paying himself.

[I'll be having my wife train under you, as my style is a bit special]: soren

[Oh?... And would you elaborate, as to who it's special?]: Hayato

Soren got up and did a simple stance before performing a move that would destroy a human body if performed correctly, before shaking his wrists and taking his seat.

Soren began explaining what transpired last night as Hayato, as well as Akisame, and Nikita all had their mouths open in disbelief, only for Nikita to break the silence.

[N-No wonder you're a God!... That was nothing but godly!]: nikita

When she spoke, Nikita caught the attention of both Hayato and Akisame, as they turned to her for an explanation, thinking it was a joke, but Soren spoke up before them.

[Nikita… Don't you think it's a bit disrespectful, speaking about others identities, without consent?]: soren

When Nikita heard this, she shuddered as she straightened her back, as she yelped.

[S-Sorry Soren!!!... P-Please forget I said anything!]: nikita

Nikita bowed towards Soren before bowing towards Hayato and Akisame before asking for them to forget what she just said, but Soren stopped her.

[It's fine… As much as I would have liked to keep it a secret, it would have become obvious that I was hiding something when years begin to pass with my looks staying the same]: soren

As Soren spoke, Hayato finally spoke up as he turned to Soren for answers.

[What did she mean?… What do you mean?... Would you mind explaining to us, as I don't seem to understand what you are talking about… It seems like you are speaking of myths and legends, but clarification would help explain what we just witnessed as you moved]: Hayato

Akisame spoke up, as he was born and raised in a rural part of Japan, as his parents took him to shrines of gods every week as they paid their respects.

[Yes… Like those Gods, but I don't know where I stand strength wise, as the Gods here are created through belief, while I was originally human, just like you guys]: soren

When Akisame heard that Soren was once human, he immediately widened his eyes in surprise, but before he could ask anything else, he was pushed out of the way, as Hayato began shouting in hopes.

[D-Do you mean to say, that WE could become Gods as well!?]: Hayato

Soren then watched as Akisame quickly got up and was about to attack Hayato for throwing him to the side, but upon hearing the question asked that he also had, he held himself off as he waited for an answer, making Soren smile at the way these guys act among each other, reminding him of a long forgotten anime, that had only resurfaced after thinking about improving Nikita's Combat side.

[Perhaps… I will say that I have the power to turn you into Gods, but won't you guys miss out on the time you could spend with your families?... Do remember, I said I'm older than I look… What if I was thousands of years old?... What do you think happened to my family as they continued to age while I stayed young forever?... Hayato, you have a son, no?... What will happen when he grows old and dies, while you keep your appearance?... Is a life of Immortality really worth trading in the time spent with family?... Do remember, getting older and older sucks, and sometimes, the sweet relief of death is something that becomes a longing deep within someone who grows old, I just don't feel the pain that comes with age]: soren

When Hayato and Akisame heard this, they began thinking hard, while Soren noticed that Nikita also began thinking, as she thought about Soren having to leave her one day, as she grows old and withers away, as Soren never told her that he would make her immortal, or the fact that the pill he gave her 6 years ago, not only increased her Chakra volumes, but also her lifespan, as she would live for a few hundred years before she would naturally pass.

[I never really thought of that… As you said, it is indeed true, a life like yours may be considered a blessing for mortals like us, but living that life may be a whole other story]: akisame

Akisame was the first to speak, as Hayato nodded his head in confirmation, as he came to the same conclusion, making Soren smile as he finished the tea in his cup before inwardly deciding to take them under his wing in the future.

[Great!... Now, let's party to celebrate two new members that will move in with us… Nikita, you will be our very first disciple… Make sure to listen well]: Hayato

Nikita nodded as she was prepared to try her best, but it was Soren's next words that raised her conviction for training to a whole new level.

[Nikita… No Chakra enhancements]: soren

When Soren said that, Nikita nodded her head, while Hayato and Akisame were once again confused, but summed it down to Nikita not being human either, yet she was not on the same level as Soren. And for the next 15 years, Nikita was put through the ringer, by Akisame and Hayato, as well as the other members who joined up along the way, like Apachai, Kensei, Shigure, and Shio. Over that time, about a month after Soren and Nikita joined Ryōzanpaku, Kayato's son, Saiga had a wife that gave birth to a little girl they named Miu, but after 6 months, both Saiga and his wife died in a car crash, leaving Miu to be raised by Hayato and the other members of the Dojo at the time. After 15 years, Miu had trained alongside Nikita, as she considered her as a sister, and today was the day the Miu wanted to go to school like a normal girl, even though Soren was the one who acted as her tutor and teacher, due to both his and this world being so aligned history wise.

[Don't cause too much trouble now… If anyone tries to pick on you, you beat them up real good, okay!]: hayato

Hayato and Soren, along with everyone else in the Dojo was watching as Miu began walking off to school, while Hayato secretly excused himself from all Dojo duties for today so he could go spy on Miu and make sure she was okay, while Soren tried to get closer to Shigure, as even over the last 5 years since she joined, she still had such a closed and cold attitude towards him, and Kensei's presence didn't help much, but Kensei knew to stay away from Nikita, as the first time he tried to peep on her, it was the very last time, as even trying to remember the torture Soren put him through, it made him shake in his shoes.

[Alright… I'm gonna head out too]: shigure

[Shigure, hold up… Take me with you… I wanna see what you do when you go out]: soren

[... Only if you can beat me]: shigure

When Soren heard this, a wicked smile crept up on his face as he spoke in a creepy tone that would send shivers down even a psychopath's back, but did nothing to affect Shigure.

[Now we both know that I'm the strongest here… So why even try to fight me… But hey… If you want a fight, I'll give you a fight]: soren

When Soren finished his sentence, Apachai spoke up as he tried to hide his massive body behind the small and feeble looking Kensei.

[Apachai doesn't like Soren when he gets like this]: apachai

[Ohoho… Don't worry, Apachai… Soren won't involve us with this fight… I hope]: kensei

[... Never mind… I'd rather not die today]: shigure

When Shigure spoke, though her words sounded scared or afraid, her tone was still neutral, and uncaring, as she then took refuge behind Kensei as well.

[What the hell is wrong with you guys, taking refuge behind me!?]: kensei

[Because we know Soren will attack you over attacking us when he finds out you set up hidden camera all around the house to secretly take pictures of Nikita]: shigure

When Soren heard this, his face darkened, while Kensei began sweating like a pig as he tried to save himself, but only stuttered and fumbled words came from his mouth, as Soren looked up at him with a glaring white light coming from his eyes as his face was still shadowed.

[I uhh… akk… ehh... Fuck!]: kensei

Kensei made a run for it as only a blurry afterimage was left of Kensei, while Soren still appeared to be standing in the same place, only for it to soon dissipate into nothingness as he went to chase Kensei, while Shigure began walking towards the exit only to be escorted by Apachai as he asked.

[How did Shigure know that Kensei had hidden cameras around the house?]: apachai

[I didn't… I just used Kensei as an escape, but it seems like my nonsensical guess was right, as that was the fastest I have ever seen Kensei run]: shigure

[So Kensei is dead?... Apa]: apachai

[Indeed he is… Anyway, I gotta go… I'll see you all when I come back]: shigure

Shigure then left, as Apachai waved her goodbye, before turning to Nikita, who was still standing there completely confused and a bit disgusted by Kensei's actions.

[Does Nikita want to fight with Apachai!?]: apachai

[Sure!... Remember, don't go easy on me because I'm a girl]: nikita

[Don't worry… Apachai's fists and legs know no difference between gender, so they have no problem beating you up just the same as anyone else]: apachai

Nikita smiled at Apachai's words, before getting in her combat stance and began trading blows with him until it was time for a break, as she was covered in bruises, while Apachai seemed to be apologising, as he didn't want to hurt Nikita.

[Apachai is so sorry he hurt you… I try to hold back next time for sure]: apachai

[Don't worry about it, Apachai… It was a fair and square fight]: nikita

The day soon ended with Miu coming back to tell everyone about the friend she made at her first day of school, as everyone sat down to listen to her story about the events that occurred leading to her new friendship, making them all smile as they began to celebrate her achievement.
