Even though Aeon had made a perfect plan…at least he believed to made one, he didn't forget to check out the skills of the Goblins with the help of the [Assessment Page]

Since all three were only Goblin Soldiers, they only had a single skill each and after learning about their skills, Aeon's confidence in his plan increased to the next level.

'Let's begin my First Hunt in the Trial Realm of Life and Death.'

Aeon didn't waste any time as he silently followed them while maintaining a good distance between them.

Along the way, Aeon picked a few stones around the size of his fist and kept them in his pockets.

'I will tell them to collect the food and then strike them.'

Since Aeon knew that the Goblins were going for the food, he didn't have any plans to strike them yet.

Time continued to pass and after an hour or so, the Goblins had collected some fruits, and leaves and the animals fell into their traps.

After resting for a bit, they set new traps and were ready to return to the cave.

'Swiish'

Suddenly, the three Goblin Soldiers saw two shiny crystals on the ground that made their eyes light up.

"Life Crystals…they are mine."

The three Goblin Soldiers instantly recognized the Life Crystals and anxiously rushed to take those Life Crystals for themselves.

Even though they were speaking in their language, Aeon, who was hiding in the bushes, could clearly understand their words.

It was not because he was special or the temporary owner of the Grimoire of Life and Death; instead, all the Life Blood Cultivators with a Life Seed could understand the language of almost all the monsters.

It was believed that the Celestial World Tree blessed the Life Seed awakeners with an ability to understand the language of the monsters and at the same time, the monsters could also understand the words of the Life Blood Cultivators.

'Snarl'

"I saw them first. So, they belong to me."

First, they fought among themselves and eventually, the two weak Goblin Soldiers ended up as a team and started fighting the leader of the trio.

'That's good. Go on and fight until you tire out yourselves.'

On the other hand, the true owner of the Life Crystals was chuckling while observing the Goblin Soldier's fight from the bushes.

Aeon patiently waited until the three Goblin Soldiers injured one another because the more injured they were, the easier it would be for him to kill them.

"Damn you, traitors."

The solo Goblin became frustrated and irritated because he was at a disadvantage against the two Goblin Soldiers and changed his strategy,

"Our Sergeant and fellow brothers were injured and we are fighting ourselves. Shame on us. Let's bring these Life Crystals to the Sergeant and offer him so that he could recover from his injuries."

"Haha…what a joke?"

"Do you think we would fall for that?"

Even though they were working as a team, the two Goblin soldiers were also having a hard time against their ex-boss.

Nevertheless, they didn't show it on their faces and laughed out loud.

"Since you want to die that badly, I will filfill….."

Before that Goblin Soldier could finish his words, a fist-sized rock hit his nose and fell to the ground without showing any signs of movement.

In the distance, Aeon was shocked when he saw the words appearing on the [Communication Page] as he looked at the second fist-sized rock that he was preparing to throw at the same goblin to kill it.

"A human?"

"Let's kill him."

The two Goblin Soldiers were shocked with the sudden death of their ex-boss and when they looked at Aeon, they unconsciously became furious.

Even though they wanted to kill their ex-boss, they didn't want a human to kill one of their kind.

Hence, one of the Goblins suggested they work together to kill Aeon with their clubs.

"Really? Why don't you come to me then?"

Aeon scoffed at the two injured Goblin Soldiers and asked them to come at him.

He was already confident in killing two Goblin Soldiers at once and the current two Goblin Soldiers in front of him had exhausted their energy and even got injured in the earlier fight.

So, Aeon was confident in the training he got from his father and brother along with his level 3 Life Blood Soldier Realm Cultivation.

However, in the next second, something unexpected happened.

The Goblin Soldier that suggested they fight together and kill Aeon turned around and ran away, leaving the other Goblin Soldier and Aeon speechless.

"Do you think I will let you go that easily?"

Nevertheless, Aeon quickly recovered from his shock and perfectly aimed the stone at the escaping Goblin Soldier.

'Kacha'

There was a crisp sound of skull cracking as the escaping Goblin Soldier fell to the ground and just like the previous Goblin Soldier, it didn't move at all.

Like before, the Grimoire of Life and Death hovered around him as it informed him about his second kill.

"What about you?"

Nevertheless, Aeon didn't look at the updated information in the Grimoire of Life and Death as he slowly walked towards the last Goblin Soldier.

"I–I will…."

The Goblins are known for their fear and in front of a strong opponent, they would be scared and instantly give up on fighting.

It was the same with the last Goblin Soldier because it knew that it could not win against the human who killed his ex-boss and teammate with one stone each.

"If you answer my questions, I will not only let you go but I will even give you Life Crystals. If not, you can reunite with others."

As he walked closer and intimidated the Goblin, Aeon gave it two options.

"Humans never keep their word. You are not getting any answers from me. So, just kill me…argh"

No matter how dumb the Goblins are, the Goblin Soldier knows Aeon won't be letting it go alive.

Hence, it became ready to die and rushed to Aeon with its club.

"It's alright! I know how to get answers from you."

Aeon was not worried too much about it as he knew Goblins would be stubborn; however, he also knew they were easy to crack.

'Swoosh'

Aeon dodged the incoming club and took a few steps back before throwing the stone at the Goblin's knee.

'Kacha'

'Aargh'

The Goblin's knee cracked as it fell to the ground and rolled on the ground in pain.

"What do you say now? Will you answer my questions or should I break your other leg?"

With a calm look, Aeon asked the Goblin Soldier who was crying in pain.

Goblins are creatures who can't endure pains…especially bone-shattering pains.

Hence, Aeon was confident about getting the information about the Goblins inside the cave.

"I-I will tell…argh"

The Goblin Soldier continued to roll on the ground as he agreed to answer Aeon's questions.
