Chapter 8 : First time Aristocrates

I saw some guys who wanted to approach me . But I saw my brother and father making the atmosphere hard to approach . I laughed at the sight seeing their glares towards them …!

"It seems like even though I'm off marriageable age . My handsome men isn't ready to send me off to another guy"

"Sister, you should be aware that all men are scumbags!!" *pouts*

"Pffft!" I laughed loudly hearing that .

I pinched his cheeks , "what about you little one ?" As I saw his being dumbfounded he said , "I'm your little Brother so I'm special !"

".....whatever you say", as I nodded . I took a glass of apple juice I got from the table .

After finishing the glass , I saw other noble families approaching . The Baron, count , Earl , marquis and many more . All we're glamourises and had a sense of high class vibes coming from them . I felt a little inferior .

"Well , whatever at least I'm living off happily than being at orphanage"

Then huge announcement came from the security…

" HERE COMES DUKE JULIAN AND HIS FAMILY . All pay respects !"

Duke Julian .. the first person who has the emperors favour . They are second most powerful after the Royal family . Duke Julian married the emperors little sister so they are very close with one another . They have two daughters one is same age as me Lady Callia and other is two years younger than us named Julia . One older brother who is the heir of dukedom , little duke Milford.

"Duke Julian is really handsome . Dark green hair and red eyes . His son is the duplicate version of him . "

I just had eye to eye contact with him . He starred for a while and avoided . All the girls were swirling around him but he ignored me like nothing .

Bruh that's rude you know …

My mother was beside me , "I better talk to Lady Maria , as in Dukes wife . Her daughters look like her having red hair and red eyes . Her younger daughter has red hair and black eyes.

So pretty , I wondered while staring at them . I might look like a pervert , but honestly I can't take my eyes from them .

Suddenly someone hugged Marlin from behind . " The way you are staring at the dukes daughter some might think you have a crush in them hahahah!! "

"Oh please stop it "

As I know already who it was just by the voice . I turned around and saw my best friend Sasha . Yes , don't be surprised but I do have a friend :)

I nodded my head and looked around for seeing new and more particular things since it's my first time . My friend was always in parties even before her debut but my parents were too restrictive into permitting me before debutant…

"Why would I let my daughter go to parties before her debut . She will attract bugs before her age of marriage comes !"

Oh dear , recalling those Marlin gave a sigh . But it's true her father loved her .

"Why are you sighing …?", she asked

"It's nothing "

"Well, you wouldn't be sighing when you'll see the royal family kyaaa!!"

Marlin bewildered by the words .

"Are they really that handsome ?"

From what I heard from around , the King Edward had two wives . First wife was a neighbouring princess but was the empress of this country . She had a son two years older than me . And then a daughter who is the only princess . The empress was a nice person and ruled wisely along with the emperor . But there is a rumour that his son is a womanizer. He flirts with every lady he had his eyes on . His name is Mathis who is in line of the throne and his sister Jewellina , one of the beautiful girls of the empire who is rumoured to have her eyes in the duke .

"I really want to see the second and third prince so badly "

I looked at her while she saying that. Those prince are a mystery . The second prince and especially the third prince . They are both sane blooded brothers of the former sick concubine . The emperor loved her dearly .

Prince Aidan and Prince Ethan . Prince Aidan is one of the talented guys out there . There isn't a book he hasn't read .. from what less people seen he wears glasses and has a cool face .

" Recently I heard the reason the third prince health has not been good …"

I asked in wonder , " Why is that ?"

My friend looked at me with pity , " I'm not sure but rumours spreading that he's cursed!"

I felt an awful feeling . Not that I was disgusted or not wanting to meet him because he's cursed . How might it feel alone being cursed . I'm sure no People want to see him ….

*Violin and piano started playing *

Sasha was delighted . It looks like the dance started . Then I saw Sasha was nowhere to be found . She was desperate to dance with a guy .

"May I have the honour of dancing with you , my lady ?"

I looked around and saw the duke . Why me of all people…?! I smiled fakely, " I'm sorry young duke but I'm tired"

He still took my hand and said , " You're the first Person to reject me!" And said , "play along …"

Only then I realised it was not attraction rather to be saved from all the ladies behind . He might be saved but what about me you bastard !! Of course it's all my thoughts I don't dare to insult the Young duke :)
