First Year Exams

It had been four months since then and i was very happy with my progress.My level one fuinjutsu books were over and now I can officially start the second level of it.My taijutsu was pretty much refined now and i had increased my weights to fifteen kg in each limbs. My kwarimi was pretty much done and it had came down to only two hand signs .

My greatest success was in my wind manipulation training as I was able to cut a leaf in half thought not smooth it was a pretty big success for me. Today was the day of the yearly exams and i had prepared hard for it ,my academics were pretty much upto standards and i could hit the target seven out of ten times with kunai and shuriken. My taijutsu was pretty much genin level now and all I needed was battle expected.

Reaching the academy i could see the nervous face of the students some were whispering among themselves some studying their scrolls and some just gossiping. I sat on my seat beside my friend choji and Shikimaru and gave them a polite bow.

Iruka entered with a stack of papers and started distributing them . The test was pretty much easy for me and I finished it quickly and started looking towards others. The test was over after one hour and we moved out to the grounds where the kunai and shuriken test would be held. Civilians did pretty decent with the best among them hitting five times the clan heirs also did good with most hitting seven . Naruto got three and sasuke got nine. I got a neat seven which was good according to my standards.

After the test was over ,next came the taijutsu exams where we were paired with mizuki sensei for our appraisal. Civilians didn't do great on this part but the clan heirs were pretty good including shikimaru. I got sixteen out of twenty on the exams making me happy.

After the exams and lunch break was over the results were announced with sasuke at the top and Naruto as dead last . I got a increase in my ranks and it jumped to twelfth making it a good progress.

After the exams were over I went out with shikimaru,choji and coincidentally shino too joined us for a meal at the barbecue shop.

Me and shino hit it off pretty good and the atmosphere became warm . We exchanged talks and i too gave him some modern knowledge about insects which made him pretty happy and invited me to their clan district. After the meal was over we went on our merry way .

Tomorrow was the first day on my path to gaining a foothold in this world and I was pretty excited for it.
