The second I let go, Minjoon speed walked towards Jiyoon. He couldn't run to her because the original soul of Minjoon's current body was cold to her in front of others. He thought his enemies would take advantage of their familial relationship to threaten him.
However, his hand was forced by the urgence of the situation.
" Five seconds before I burn your pretty face off, give up now." The young man sneered as he whispered into Jiyoon's ear and twisted her arm behind her back, seconds away from breaking it.
Minjoon's current body was an S-rank awakene. It took him less than 15 seconds to get there using his full speed and yank the young man off his sister.
" Ouf!" The young man exclaimed in shock as he staggered back. " Wha- Guild Master?!"
" O-oppa...!" Jiyoon stuttered, her eyes wide and her jaw dropped from surprise and relief.
Minjoon dusted his hands, displeased he had to touch that guy even for a second, as he spoke to her. " Get up."
" Eh? Ah, yes!" Jiyoon scrambled and pushed her bruised self up. She heads to the nurse on the sidelines after Minjoon dismissed her.
" Guild Master?! What are you doing?" Hannah ran up them.
Bewildered at her bosses actions she whisper shouted as she glanced at the cameras, weary of the citizens volatile reactions. The gruesome fights they wanted were interrupted. She didn't expect the Guild Master to be here today, so she's been nervous since the start. Since he didn't' react as the fights went on she felt more relaxed, but then this happened!
" Hannah." Minjoon stares down at her, his powerful aura pressuring her.
"-!... Yes, sir?" Tense, she took a step back. Her body instinctively entering a flight or fight mode upon contact with the oppressive waves coming off Minjoon.
" Are we the Hell Foxes or the Black Mantles?" He asked casually, with sexy dominance oozing off him.
He named the two most unpopular guilds among the awakenes society, yet both rank within the top 10 guilds in South Korea.
Hell Foxes; simply put are aggressive berserkers that are reckless and only listen to one person, their leader. But they're strong enough to make their style work.
Black Mantels; a guild consisting of conniving thieves and assassins, known for their stealth and speed.
Time and time again, it's been proved cooperation with the two guilds was impossible. The Hell Foxes would abandon their position and purse targets as they please. 'Each man for himself' was their motto; not offering nor ever expecting help from others. They couldn't be trusted to watch our backs in collective fights. Team work with them was impossible. The Black Mantels were worse. They would actually backstab awakenes from other guilds within dungeons and cover it up. There's no way to hold them accountable when cameras don't work in dungeons and the dungeons disappear soon after cleared.
" If the way you teach the newcomers makes them confident enough to threaten and harm a teammate right in front of their Guild Master, then I can't imagine what they will do behind our backs in the dungeons."
" N-no, of course not! That won't happen! How could you say that?!"
Minjoon instantly closed the space between them and grasped Hannah's neck in less than a second.
"Hm? Then do tell me, why is my sister's life being put on the line for some side hustle not even worth 500,000 won? Is her life worth only that much? Of course not, right, Hannah?" He tilted his head slightly to the side.
"Hnk-! N-no, s-sir! I'm so-orry." Hannah chokes out as she taps on Minjoon's hands, desperate to breathe. She couldn't break away. With an A-rank against an S-rank, obviously he was stronger.
" I'm not saying we have to be as righteous and holy as the 'Seven Wings', but we should at least have some basic human decency."
Gradually, she started to lose focus. Everyone watching was tense and anxious, wrecking their brains to understand what Minjoon said and what's going on.
As if he lost interest, Minjoon suddenly dropped her.
" You are no longer a part of my guild. You have 10 minutes to leave the premises." When still she didn't get up Minjoon glanced at his wrist watch. " 9 minutes before I hunt you down."
Immediately, she gathered her senses, grasping her bruised neck and ran. Ran away from Minjoon.
My adorable babyboy.
'This is new. Never knew you had a side of you like this.' I mentally comment. I cross my legs and cover my smirk with my right hand as I lean forward to cover my boner.
I can see Minjoon's body freeze for a second. He glances at back me, appearing a bit nervous. ' Do you... dislike this dark side of me?'
' Yeah, it's-' making me horny, can't have a boner every time you act aggressive.
But he interrupts me before I could finish.
A sting of shock passes through his eyes as he scoffs. ' Did you expect me to stay innocent and naive forever? I have you, the 'Crimson Slayer', as my system. Don't be a hypocrite.'
' What... did you just say?' My smile instantly drops. ' Where did you learn that?' I camly ask him as that title awoke my anger. There should be no one who still remembers that name, that cursed era of mine.
' I have my ways.'
' Do not utter that name.' I growel through our mental connection.
You can't say that vile name. Please, not you. Only you shouldn't...
He rolls his eyes before he breaks eye contact with me. He heads towards the weak fire wielding young man and kicks him out the guild too. He sends out a team leader to make sure both Hannah and the boy were off the premises.
" Now, then, it seems I'll have to inspect who I let into my house. The PVPs are done. I'll be testing each one you from here on. Who's ever supposed to be next, come up here." Minjoon growels, seeming to want to let off some steam.
" Now." Minjoon demanded as everyone was still stuck in place.
Finally, the recruits reacted. A black haired young man, in steady and firm strides, made his way onto the stage.
