Liberation: Age of Aron

Firstly, yes I know this is my WSA entry but another reason I wrote this is to preach the phrase disability is not a limitation. Many have been denied reality because of how they are, some have even been denied themselves. But Hey? Reality is just a plane of existence that you define, this might be a fantasy novel but just like the MC that found comfort and himself in a virtual world(a game) your virtual world could be anything you hold dear, hang unto to, clench your fist and don't let it go, let no one define what hope is for you. False hope is a false hope the moment you deem it so, until then it is HOPE and COMFORT! This is the journey of a boy that refused reality and sought a reality for himself. With the launch of the first-ever virtual reality world where even pain could be felt. Leon was allowed to see what the way he couldn't in reality. Age Of Aron is a virtual reality game that was created with a composition of artificial intelligence, with each part able to make decisions best for the development of the world. A world that inclined itself with reality itself: A game so enchanting that when dived too deep into it could overlap the player's sense of true reality. Leon was given a golden chance to herald a path, whatever that path would be, however it would be was now based on him and the people around him. Join BLINDSAGE(Leon) on his journey to liberation in the magnificent and prodigious world where nothing is impossible, read and follow closely how all forces of existence conform to the will of his character and the magnitude of his compassion for the existences that others like him consider synthetic. FireHeart vs Orc Chief

"All red tags attack!! make sure the orc dies!!!" Knight Daryon shouts with a throw of his hands forward. Immediately all the players dashed forwards, in different armours and weapons, it was a rough battlefield however the roughness itself was a work of art as the orc slashed their heads away from their necks. The red orc's run, alone bulldozed anyone that obstructed him. While some of them were able to hold on a little longer, many died instantly but it doesn't mean their swords didn't reach the orc. However, there were shallow wounds, even with the usage of their skills the only thing that changed was the orc stopped moving and began to sweep them off with his axe.

Leon and his army watched from where they stood.

"This is a disappointment! are they novices or what? I know they are meatshields but aren't they too weak this way?" Leon said.

"I am indeed marvelled by your grace, I have always thought the players to be blessed by the essence of the world. Perhaps it is the orc chief that is just too strong." Daryon said he was standing next to Leon who was on his horse.

"Get me a bow," Leon said.

Immediately Leon took the bow of one of the soldiers behind him and gave it to Leon with an arrow. Leon aimed towards the orc but suddenly paused as a loud explosion sufficed on the battlefield.

~Tssss~

The smokescreen caused by the dust of the stony gorged being crushed slowly cleared. Gareth was revealed within it, with both of his hands on a large sledgehammer.

"It's a pity we realised later, the pride of Fireheart is on the line! We must show our might" Gareth shouted and was joined by his other two subordinates. One equipped with a dual dagger, the other with a bow and arrow.

Three of them circled the orc chief while it was still dealing with the rest of the players and began to strategically lunge attacks in turn, while the players served as the aggro they were taking the advantage to deal damages to the orc and were doing it in turn.

The orc suddenly stopped and looked behind towards Darq who had just finished firing an arrow. He flung the player that was in his hand towards Darq, who quickly ran leftwards, still keeping the circle but while he was focusing on dodging the body, he took his eyes off the orc for a moment and lost it. As he searched for where the orc was amidst the dust smokescreen, it suddenly appeared behind him and was about to slam him to the ground with its hand...

~Gbam!~

...Gareth smashed the orc's hand upwards, such that the orc staggered backwards a few steps, Darq immediately jumped to Gareth's behind.

"Have we been tricked, did that mean Tara knew ..."

"We can't assume anything, for now, one thing I know is we must make that guy interested in us by showing him our capabilities," Gareth responded.

~Slash~

~Slash~

Roiner slashed the thick and large calves of the orc and immediately retreated into the dust, appearing behind the other two.

"It's tough..." He said.

"I know, the real battle will start when we are the only ones attacking it," Gareth said as he tightened his hand on his hammer and got in stance to run forward.

As other players took advantage of the three of them to rush at the orc and poured their skills upon it. He dashed towards the orc and sequentially smashed it amidst other players' attacks, the orc successfully blocked some but that meant he had to get hit by other players, even for the orc that much of a crowd was too much until it used it.

~STOMP!!~

The orc chief stomped his feet on the crowd causing a large tremor that pushed all the players backwards. They all entered a state of stun even though they didn't lose any health points. The orc chief takes the chance to run through them, slicing through them with his double axe, blood splattered as their body was thrown up as he sliced through. As Gareth, Darq and Roiner recovered from the stun they ran from the sight of the orc.

Leon observed from the back lines, "Hmm, this guy is strong, to think he even has a CC skill" Leon said to himself while brushing his jaw with his finger.

The battle continued, and the number of players had greatly deflated. Leaving a few others with Gareth, Darq and Roiner as the main focus of the battle.

"Boulder Smash!!"

As Gareth shouted, slamming his sledgehammer on the ground, multiple boulders rose from the ground and he began to smash each of them towards the orc.

~SMASH!!~

~SMASH!!~

~SMASH!!!~

The orc crushed through them with his axe though was slowed by the dust and stone crumbles that were dispelled from smashing the boulders but it was not enough to stop him. He reduced speed as the boulders came and smashed with his axe.

"Snare"

As Darq's subtle tone pronounced the next step the orc chief dropped to the ground, sank into it. And immediately hardened, trapping him. He struggled a bit and was not able to pull the leg out. Gareth paused for a few seconds and carefully observed the orc, and so did Roiner who was getting ready to shoot his arrow at a sudden surprise. The orc who had been in a constant battle seemed to be catching his breath for the first time since they had started fighting.

"Do you think they had it?" Leon asked.

"I'd be damned," Daryon replied, "That thing fought us for close to four months on its own, it's impossible that he has no cards left to play. What I believe is, he seems to be enjoying..." Daryon concluded.

"He won't go down easily," Knight Finduilas added.

Leon smiled, "...let's keep watching."

*URRRREEEEEUUGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!*

The orc chief let out a sudden loud supersonic shout that immediately forced those around him into a state of shock.

[You have been stunned for five seconds]

Gareth and his mate could not resist.

~Thwoob!!~

The orc's speed suddenly increased so much that he was like a moving blur, the ground where his leg was stuck shattered as he ran off. Just as Gareth's stun period was in one second, his large hand covered Gareth's faced and smashed it to the ground.

[You have lost 1,789 health points]

As Gareth was smashed to the ground his body bounced in the propellant of the force that he was smashed with. The orc raised him again and

~CRASH!~

~CRASH!~

~CRASH!~

The orc continued to smash Gareth into the ground even though Roiner's arrow was repeatedly embedded into his back. Darq looked over to Leon's army.

"Even if it's a game, shouldn't he be trying to save us at the very least, except this was how it was meant to go..." He said as he looked back towards the orc, Gareth turned to blue light that dissipated. The orc turned to him immediately.

"I'm not going down without a fight." He said as he pointed his daggers forward, one slight over his mouth, the other below the the first, both pointing opposite direction.
