The board was on tense, with this new development they knew they were in trouble.

They had faced far worse foes and a level that had barely awakened should be the last of their problems but she was.

She had gone under the radar for so long, it still surprised them how she had managed to survive that long right under their nose.

Whatever level she was didn't matter, she had gotten away from them for so long, she was now deemed too dangerous to be left alone.

The board was to happy with being made a fool out of, and she had made a fool out of them for too long, now it was time for her to pay.

"Sir…. I don't think this is a good idea" the man whispered. "The people… they will not be pleased to know of what we are about to do"

"The people will thank me for saving them from this abomination that has dealt within our city for years".

"She is barely an adult sir!, and for all that we know she could be a normie-"

"For all that we know, she could be the downfall of all of us. Never underestimate these things Sergeants. They are vicious animals who kill for fun. I don't care how old she is, SHE is a threat and this threat has to be neautralised."

"But sir… the people-"

"The people will learn to live with it, in time they will forget about it. If WE however do not take care of IT, THE CIRCLE will demand a head in her place… and believe me sergeant it won't be mine".

Rising from his seat at the head of the table, he gives the board one more hard look, the air more tense with the declaration of his final decision.

"I want the threat neutralized, and I want that done today Sergeant, or else THE CIRCLE will have all of our heads.

And with that he walked away leaving his unsaid words behind him for them to ponder upon.

They all knew what he wanted but that didn't stop them from wondering…
