Desert island on east

Half an hour earlier.

An alarm woke Helbert up. He also quickly his daughter.

"Honey wake up, quick"

With that, he grasp his daughter's hand and sprung to his feet, even though he is in his fifties. He still has the strength to protect his daughter, at least that was what he thought.

He open the door, only to be greeted by a sharp scream from the window. He look and saw a person just flash by while flinging around but that did not shock him but the scene outside.

Looking like the end of the world, the ocean was rocking very badly that every push of the wave made the ship lean from either side.

The scene was akin to a movie but right now it was real, and he can't show weakness in front of his daughter, otherwise, she will break down.

The hallway was chaotic as everyone was running up.

Grabbing his daughter's hand he ran toward the stairs.

For the two girls, the old man right now looks so dashing and suave.

So they usually shelve it on the ship just for the protocol, it looks like it was still new, or to be precise, they were never used.

After putting the lifeboat down, it was light but at the same time hard. The boat can actually accumulate five people and they were only three. So he expects the boat will be spacious.

Satisfied, he again explore around. After looking around he mistakenly discovers a room behind the pile of lifeboats.

After struggling to push the lifeboats aside, he finally can open the door. After twisting the wheel, he discover beyond the door was full of guns. Precisely, the guns the 21st century used.

"I wonder, why they have this. After the world government announce the new generation armory, countries were banning producing this."

"But, I am thankful. With this, I don't have to worry about our safety anymore."

He stuff a bag nearby until the bag was bulging. Dragging it to the lifeboat, he discovered that the two girls were ready and were stuffing the boat with supplies inside.

"Daddy look"

On Jenneva's has was their bag, including his and hers.

His eyes widen, earlier he wants to find their belonging because he had an important thing that he won't want to leave but their situation didn't allow him to move around.

He grab his bag and took out a photo from it. After finding that it was not damaged he sighs and thank his daughter lovingly.

"Thank you, honey!"

"Is that Mommy's photo?"

"Yes, this is very precious for me"

"It's okay daddy, I'll company you in place of mommy"

"Ok guys, enough! we are still on the ship, resume your father-daughter after we leave this goddamn place"

A loud explosion was heard below. It made Helbert's face ugly, so he hurry them up to escape the ship.

It looks like the ship was about to sink.

" Hurry, help me push the boat."

The two girls were nod and help him push the boat toward a slanting slope. It was the doorway toward the outside.

"Emily quickly activate the lifeboat now"

"Believe me I'm trying"

"Why is the boat not activating Emily?"

The wave was trying to bring down the boat but, it seems that it was still ok for the time being.

But Helbert felt bitter inside, looking at that tsunami and looking back at the lifeboat it seem that the battery was malfunctioning resulting in this situation.

He stands up and shouts to heaven.

" Just why?!!"

And a flash of lightning strikes him down.

"Daddy!!"

"Uncle!!"

Before the tsunami swallow them, the lifeboat activated.
