Regrets
"Please tell me where my wife is...." said Marcus while kneeling in front of Madam Wang, his mother. At the corner of his eyes, he saw Sir Wang, shook his head slightly with a sigh.
"Isnt this what you have always wanted? To divorce her and marry your ONE TRUE LOVE??" Sir Wang spat to Marcus while slapping his own thigh with his left hand angrily. At the same time, his other hand threw the divorce papers into Marcus's lap.
The divorce papers slipped to the ground. Marcus grabbed the papers and flipped to the last page and there it was, Anna's signature on the dotted line.
Never in million years, he ever felt weak in his knees! Never!! But looking at the gentle signature... He closed his eyes, afraid that the sadness, tears will escape through his lids.
"I need to be strong!! To get her back!!" He screamed in his battered heart and with that he collected his strength.
Opening his light brown eyes to meet his mother's misty brown ones, he once again asked "Where is my wife? Her place is here with me."
Madam Wang stared into her son's eyes and searched for his true intentions to Anna. Surprisingly, fear and regret were reflected back. Among other things... love...? Her heart felt heavy and God knew how much she wanted Anna to be her daughter-in-law through and through. But after what happened at hospital earlier today, seeing Anna's heart broke into million of pieces in front that slut.. it was time to let her go.. to find her own happiness.

Flashback...
Earlier.... At the hospital....
"Did you do it? Why?" Marcus's angry piercing eyes directed to Anna's calm blue ones.
"She didnt mean to push me. It was an accident!" Sabrina explained while her long, manicured fingers held onto Marcus's sleeves. Her eyes.. watery.. as if wanting him to understand that it was not anybody's fault.
Marcus turned to Sabrina, now clutching at her extended stomach, as if protecting her unborn child. Seeing that his heart beat furiously against his chest and he approached Anna in a flash!
Yanking Anna's elbow, he pulled her closer and shoved her towards Sabrina's bed. Then he grabbed her face roughly to look directly at him.
"Marcus!" Madam Wang indignantly shouted.
Ignoring her shout, Marcus continued "Do you think that if her child is gone, any child carried in your womb worth anything to me?!" He then came closer to her ear and whispered loudly for everyone to hear "Even if her child is not mine, the baby is worth more than the one you carry, even though its mine!"
Anna staggered back, her eyes widened in anguish while her fingers fluttered to her stomach. However, no one noticed that gesture. Unbeknown to everyone, she was actually two months pregnant with his baby.
She was ecstatic when she found herself pregnant and wanted to surprise her husband tonight in bed. But fate had other plans for her...
Her heart felt like a blade has plunged through it and then twisted to ensure that her heart would never recover from the pain. At that moment, she felt that it never would..
"Anna.. be strong.." Madam Wong slipped her slender arm around Anna's shaking shoulder to show her support then led her away from the room.
Her own heart was bleeding after hearing her son's cruel words.. She couldnt imagine what Anna must be feeling right now. Hence she pulled her away before Marcus could say any more hurtful words that couldnt be taken back. But, it might have been too late....
