Ch 8- Seidou vs Ichidaisan high
Alex is currently in class watching the teacher yell at Sawamura.
Teacher- Is my class that boring Sawamura.
Sawamura- m-mmm.....snore.....
Teacher- DON'T GO BACK TO SLEEP.
Alex just sighs at this as the other two first year baseball player said that he is not in the team and that he is just an observer and the hole class is laughing at him as he said that he is going to be the future ace of the team. Alex who saw this thought to give him a little help and said.
Alex- Why are you guys laughing at some ones dream like that. How would you like it if some one laughs at your dream. Ha. At lest he has a dream and from what I can see every day he is out there and trying hard to achieve that dream of his.
After Alex said that the class was silent and all looking at Alex and Sawamura looked like he was just about to cry and said.
Sawamura- T-Thank you Alex...sniff...I didn't know you cared so much.
Alex- Huh...All good Sawamura but I think I should tell you one thing so listen carefully.
Sawamura- W-what is it.
Alex- I'm going to be the future ace of the team. Got that.
Sawamura- W-w-w-what was that.
After that the bell rings and Alex goes and gets ready for todays practice. The coach gathers every one in a circle and started to talk.
Coach- You get it, guys. The fall tournament confirms the selection, them there the final selection in the summer. Compered to those two, the spring tournament doesn't mean as much. And todays opponent is Ichidaisan high, whom we last to in the fall tournament. Were going to return that shame to them ten times over.
Everyone- YES SIR.
Coach- Yeah. Lets go as usual, guys.

???- Isn't he still a second year , and he's the sixth batter. Their line up is frightening.

???- Ohhh.. what is wrong with Ichidaisan high's pitcher. Maybe it is shock from that home run but he is unable to stop Seidou's batters.
???- He's given up eight runs this innings.
???- Ichidaisan high, selected for the best eight is being completely overwhelmed by Seidou high school.

Coach- Your asking for trouble for throwing four balls like that. Giving them easy ones over and over. Your not going to get anywhere like that, ARE YOU Tanba.

Coach- Tanba, What the hell have you been doing these last two yeas.

Coach- Get out. Kawakami your pitching next.
Kawakami- Yes sir.

Umpire- 16-10... SEIDOU WINS.
???- Seidou has such an amazing batting line up but their problem is still the same. They don't have a good pitcher that can lead there team as there ace.
???- Yes. It probably irritates Seidou's coach quite a bit, since he used to be a pitcher.
Seidou- Thank you for the game.
Ichidaisan- Thank you for the game.

Alex was watching the hole game with a big smile on his face. He could not wait to get on the pitching mound and pitch in front of such a large crowd. When the game was over and he was walking back to the bus he overheard miss Rei, the assistant coach and the head coach.
Miss Rei- Coach. Tanba , our current ace seems to be on the verge of a breakdown. I think it is possible to take this chance and improve the team. But. There are only three months until the summer tournament. So we need to hurry up and prepare the first years for the pitching staff.
Coach- Um.. You are right. We will go into detail when we get back.
As Alex herd that he new that it is time to show the coaching staff just what he can do. So when Alex got back he went to bed early to rest up for the big day tomorrow so he can be in his best condition so he can fight for that ace number.
