MC will wake up in a parallel world where technology flourishes. This parallel world has many Sci-Fi technologies such as virtual reality and artificial intelligence. The MC will receive the Game Developer System 1.0 and needs to accumulate Developer Points to buy many things in the system shop to produce better games. Not only that, MC can use Dev-Points to strengthen him. The parallel Earth will meet a Legend that no one will ever know, even with the Artificial Intelligence created in this parallel world. ..... MC is named Alfred Garrido, 50 years old, Asian, and Filipino. He is an old game enthusiast and dreamt of creating his very own RPG/MMORPG games, however, due to life experiences, his dreams never came to fruition, instead, he worked himself as a regular office worker. He likes to read business and game-related news, even at his current age. His wife left him due to his financial condition when he was 30 years old, they didn’t have any children. Since then, he never sought another partner and worked all the time as well as catering to his gaming hobby. Mocked by his family and friends, he lived alone in an apartment, with his computer and gaming devices as his companions. He slept after his 51st birthday’s last hour ticked off. He heard the alarm ring and woke up panicked. He thought he was late for work but when he woke up, he scanned the room and found that it was not his. There were posters of a man with steel hands. Some other posters were unknown to him. In an instant, he felt a headache all over his head and found that unknown memories were present in his mind that were not there before. He jolted for a few minutes and stopped. When he opened his eyes, he quickly assessed what was happening to him. “I think… I know this situation I am in!” he uttered. Yes, he guessed right, he transmigrated in a parallel world of himself! “God damn it! All the novels I’ve read were true!?” Alfred shouted. Unknown to him, his mother of the parallel world called him out. “Alfred! What are you shouting about!? Come down you’re late to school! I’ve work to do so you better be fast or I’ll slap your butt hard!” Alfred was surprised, his mother in this parallel world is alive!? “Wait…” Alfred thought that there must be something wrong so he went to the nearby mirror in his room and looked at his image. “What the fuck!? I’m young again! Wait… let me check the memories.” He closed his eyes and scanned the memories he just received moments ago. “I-… I’m back to my 7th grade!?” He stepped back a bit due to shock but pivoted firmly after a few moments. “I’m back!” Alfred clenched his fist hard and punched the air upwards. “I’m fucking back! I can re-do my life! Hahaha!” Alfred laughed his ass out and got his mother’s second and final warning. He quickly tidied his bed and went down to eat with his mother.

Kevin's Part

//

While Alfred was ready for bedtime, Kevin, on the other hand, was still up and logged inside the World Wide Net using his VR Shade.

"Every game nowadays is freaking boring!" He complained loudly. Fortunately, his room was fully soundproofed. While scrolling through the virtual screen, he found an unusual gaming platform. "NeWorld Entertainment? What the hell is that name? So lame! This company's game must be lame too! Lemme' check!"

He tapped the banner with a Planet-like logo and was redirected to NeWorld Entertainment's main page. There he saw a weird game title, only one and it was free. "Huh? A new company with one game? Well, ain't that normal? Wait... free!? It's freaking FREE!? This company wants their game to be free!? There's a catch at the least! Whatever! Better play this fast before they put a tag on it!" he quickly loaded the game [Resident Evil: Racoon City].

Upon entering the game, he was transported to a lounge-like room. "Ah?" confused, he asked for customer support. The system quickly provided customer support through the usual virtual screen communication.

"Why am I stuck here? I want to play the game!" he urged the system, however, the system answered him that he needed four more players to proceed or he could try going solo. He rushed the system and asked for a solo gaming. The system complied and asked him what difficulties he'd like to choose. "What are the options?" he asked.

The system instantly told him the details of each difficulty level.

Rookie: 20% Pain Receptor Level

• Standard: 50% Pain Receptor Level

• Hard: 80% Pain Receptor Level

• Expert: 100% Pain Receptor Level

"Four levels of difficulties!? How grand! And this game is free!? What the hell is going on!? I choose standard!" he ordered. The system warned him that if he proceeded, he would face the normal amount of enemies inside the game alone. He didn't listen and still proceeded with the game. "Fuckin' do it will ya!?" he shouted.

After confirming, the system transported him inside the game and to the starting location, which was at the landing zone near the exit gates.

An NPC soldier radioed him about his objective, which was to retrieve the T-Virus vial inside the Umbrella Corporation's facility within 48 hours or the nuclear would kill him within the blast range. He checked the details of his mission and strode forward while carefully analyzing his surroundings. "God damn! This game is so fucking real! How the hell did the developers do this?? And they didn't ask for money at all! Are they running a trial!?" he shook his head and went back to his objective.

As he carefully traveled, he met a few zombies on the way, however, the distance of the facility shown on his map was still far from his location. He immediately regretted not listening to the customer support's advice. "I should have listened. I'm an idiot. Anyway..."

Regret was hard to swallow but he was already inside the game and quitting means wasting his time. He already spent more than 2 hours inside the game so better try to finish it all. However, near the hospital, he saw hundreds if not thousands of zombies walking aimlessly in the street. He instantly felt nervous as he scanned the surroundings for something to ride on. As a lone soldier doing the mission, his movements were too slow! After a few minutes, he found a car with keys and started the engine. The zombies heard it and flocked toward him.

"Fuck." He could only curse as more zombies were coming at his car. He revved it up and drove it. He followed the map and decided to take the Mina Street route. His driving took a bad turn when he found so many zombies blocking the road at the end of Mina Street so he backed up and ran over some zombies that were following him.

Upon reaching the first corner, he took the open lane of Kiss Street and fastened his speed. 30 minutes passed and dozens of zombies ran over, he arrived at the end street of the North Racoon area, however, the car's gas went out so he had to walk on foot. He slowly but surely checked each corner he reached and killed his way out of bunches of zombies that he encountered on the way. 10 hours have passed and he has just reached Arklay Forest's area. He still needed to walk to reach the said mansion in the forest.

As he carefully traverses his route, the thought of the game being well-made crosses his mind as this game should not be free! All the experiences he had in this game up until this moment were excellent! He felt real danger! His hunger and stamina inside the game were also real! He couldn't imagine the cost of creating this game, his thoughts were "Who the hell was this company and where did they come from!?"

He shook his head and went back to the ball game, which was to reach the mansion in less than 24 hours. Thankfully, he reached the mansion after 15 hours or so and with fewer zombies around!

He entered the mansion and followed the map's guide. He reached the bottom of the mansion and found a large metallic door. He saw a button and pushed it. The door slowly opened, he entered the dark and illuminated it. He continued the way down until he reached the end level, then found a train.

He entered the train and made it run. The train started moving so he sat on the floor for the meantime while waiting to reach the end. While doing so, he sighed at what could've been a better experience if was just patient earlier and asked his goons to join him play the game. After a while, he reached his destination and left the train. He walked further and found himself in a warehouse-like area. He further walked and found another metallic gate. He pushed the button on the side and the door opened, however, zombies quickly showed up and ran toward him. He didn't panic much but he was quite a bit surprised by the sudden appearance of zombies. He pointed his rifle towards these zombies' heads and pulled the trigger.

Gunshots were echoing inside. As soon as he checked everything was clear, he carefully scanned further and then walked.

It was not too dark inside afterward and he could see some dead bodies floating inside each room filled with water. He passed each one without noticing that these bodies' eyes were open and moving. He continued by following the map and finally found the exact location where the T-Virus was at. However, the door was locked and he needed to open it and the only way to do that was to deactivate the security of this facility. Thus, he searched for the control room and found it after an hour or so.

Upon reaching the control room, he was greeted by an artificial intelligence named [RED QUEEN]. He was warned to not deactivate the system as it would compromise the security measures she made to prevent further outbreaks. However, he shrugged off his head and turned off the switch, but before she turns off, she warned him of the consequences. He just shook his head slightly and went back to the room where the T-Virus was located.

Upon reaching, he saw many doors opened slowly. Realizing the danger of such an event, he rushed towards the room where the T-Virus was placed while shooting off the heads of zombies he faced. However, the zombies were too many so he went inside the room and decided to seal off the door for the meantime and wait for a while. Though he secured the T-Virus, he was still not safe. After a while, he sneaked outside the door and saw the zombies scattering, he realized such timing was great so he quickly opened the door and rushed out while shooting each zombie in his way.

While he was running, he heard some unusual steps from some distance and when he looked back, he saw who were they, and it was the zombie dogs.

"Fuck, this time it's dogs!" He added more strength to his leg and continued running towards the train.

"Fuck! Fuck!" He murmured as the dogs were chasing after him and closing in. One of the zombie dogs got near him and quickly jumped at him. He ducked and shot the zombie dog in the head. It died but there were still some zombie dogs.

Without further ado, he ran as fast as he could towards the train station. He reached the train station after a few struggles but when he did come close, a giant monster jumped from out of nowhere over the train cart. It roared and pulled out its very long tongue from its mouth. "What the fuck is this shit!?" He cursed harder.

He pulled the trigger in his rifle and started shooting at the said monster. however, its speed was quite fast.

"Dang!" He kept missing and then, a prompt sounded and it was due to low ammo count.

"Fudge! If only I stocked up before coming in here!" he started to regret not strategizing well!

As the long-tongued monster dodged, his ammunition kept decreasing and when the rifle stopped firing, the said zombie launched an all-out attack towards him. It jumped and its tongue grabbed his right feel as it dragged him toward its mouth.

"I'm going to die!" he shouted while being dragged by the monster in its mouth.

In a few more moments, he received a message.
