Escaping

"Hahahaha, hahaha..." His laughter rang deep in the courtyard and even, the maids in the outer residence could hear him.

"Master, what's wrong?." Lin Yue asked with teary eyes, just then, Lin Huang picked her up and started throwing her into the air, then catches her back.

After being thrown more than ten times, Lin Yue felt dizzy.

"Master... that's enough!." She cried out as he threw her up again.

"Hahahaha." Lin Huang roared into a final laughter before finally putting her down.

Lin Yue's chest heaved up and down as she look at her master.

"Yue'er, you are definitely master's disciple from heaven." Lin Huang said, grinning.

"But...I am from Earth." Lin Yue muttered.

"Earth? Where is that?." Lin Huang asked in confusion but Lin Yue didn't bother to reply.

"Okay, now, let's practice, and then, I will teach you alchemy!."

"Really? Master." Lin Yue's eyes brightened up with hope.

"Yes, so now, refill the blade again."

She happily does as he says and that day, she was taught how to fill the sword with spiritual qi much quicker and she also battled with countless puppets that are way more stronger than her father's ones. She battled using her spiritual power and her soul core was almost empty.

Even till 9 at night, he ask her to fight with the puppet to train her sight and strengthen her body, and by the time it was ten, she finally destroyed the last puppet but by then, her clothes has became sticky with sweat and her leg was barely able to stand.

If she had known, she wouldn't have trained with her master, he is, even, worse than her father.

Lin Huang called on a maid to get her food, and his gaze landed on the small figure in red that was sitting down with sweat tricking down her forehead and her chest heaving up and down.

"You've worked hard, Yue'er!" He said with a smile but the girl only look at him with red eyes before closing her eyes and falling to the side.

"Yue'er?." Lin Huang called out softly as he carried the girl in his arm.

There was no answer and he put his finger on her nose and was glad to realize that she was only sleeping. Her clothes were wet and he felt a little guilty remembering that she was only six months old.

He asked another maid to arrange a room for her and placed her there.

Her parents were worried when they didn't see her so they sent a maid, Ranran.

When Ranran get to the family head's residence for her young miss, she was told that the girl was sleeping and would come home the next day, so in the end, she didn't have a choice but to go back and report to her master.

When Lin Yue woke up the next day, she realized that she was not in her room. She slowly sit up and also realized that her clothes has been taken off. She was confused before remembering that she fainted after her master told her that she had worked hard.

The corner of her mouth twitched slightly remembering how hard she had fought but the growling of her stomach brought her back to the present.

Just as she was about to get down from the bed, someone suddenly knocked on the door.

"Come in..." Lin Yue grumbled and drink the cup of water placed beside her bed.

Two maids entered, one young and one old and both bowed.

"Good Morning, Miss Yue, we are here to help you take a bath"

"Thank you but no, and this cloth too...." Lin Yue pointed to the blue dress in the maid's hand. "I want red dress."

The smile on the older maid's fell before saying softly. "This servant will go and get you a dress." she then retreated from the room.

Lin Yue didn't care as she stood up leisurely, she glanced at the ten years old looking girl standing with a pure smile and she couldn't help but ask, "What's your name?."

"Miss Yue, this servant's name is Xiao Ba." Xiao Ba informed with a smile, her pearl-like white teeth seems to be shining.

"Oh," Lin Yue nodded before walking to the bathroom and take a shower.

When she came out, the older maid was back with red cloth and tell them leave before putting on the dress.

After dressing up, she patted her hungry stomach and get out, but she didn't go to the dining room but instead wandered around in the residence, she wanted to leave.

She dodged the maids passing by and just as she passed by a corner in the laundry area, she suddenly hear some noise, causing her to stop in footsteps.

"Young...young.. master Wen, please I don't want to do it." The voice belongs to the girl that Lin Yue talked to earlier, Xiao Ba but instead of her sweet voice from before, the voice of hers now contained fear and helplessness.

"Young master Wen?, isn't that that old hag's son?." Lin Yue thought and hold her breath before continuing to eavesdrop.
