I want to take a moment to assure you that I have not abandoned this novel. On the contrary, I have been wrestling with a particularly stubborn chapter for quite some time now. The three trials I had initially planned out presented a unique challenge, especially the second trial.
While the idea of the third trial is evident, the second one has proven to be a formidable adversary. I have rewritten the chapter multiple times, trying to perfect the narrative, enhance the flow, and, most importantly, do justice to the characters and the overall plot. However, it hasn't hit the mark as of yet.
I apologize for the delay in updates. I understand that many of you are eagerly waiting for the next part of the story, and I appreciate your patience. I am currently fine-tuning the details of the second trial and hope to have the chapter ready for you tonight or tomorrow.
Please bear in mind that this chapter will be miles away from being perfect. I'm still trying to articulate a complex section of the story properly. However, I promise that I'm doing my best to provide a captivating, coherent, and enjoyable chapter.
