"Ahgg Fei was sooooooo cool!" She shouts into one of her pillows

"Excuse me Young miss but the patriarch as order this servant to help you pack." A feminine voice rings out from the other side of the room

"I know I know I just can't get over how amazing he looked, he called me his Beloved.. so he does like me too that's good.." still mumbling into the pillow her face turning beet red, "when he threw out my parents and defended me I felt warm.. I still feel that warmth.." Suddenly she stands up and smacks her face stunning the servant, "Okay let's start packing." As Xiao Baili begins to pack her essentials and ton of cloths in the end she managed to fill up two storage rings of decent quality.

As she begins to return to the patriarchs study an arrogant voice shouts stopping her in her tracks

"Stop there Xiao I heard you are moving as well and getting engaged to some prick elsewhere what you should be doing is marring me." The voice came from an arrogant looking young man with long black hair and red eyes he wore black robes he looked slight older than Xiao Baili this man is Yan Gie a blood panther.

She tries to keep her cool her fists clinch as she speaks, "Greetings Young master Gie unfortunately for you my heart belongs to another so if you would kindly back off." Her teeth clenched as she was unable to keep her cool in the end.

"You dare reject me, are you top stupid don't you know my family and the support we give to the white tiger clan! If you do not marry me then the blood panthers will withdraw their support!"

"Fine I don't care do whatever you want, the strength of your pitiful Blood panthers will never hold a candle next to the family of my beloved." with that she turns to leave however as she senses a strong fluctuation of energy behind her she quickly dodges to the side pulling Yan Gie's are with enough force flipping the man on his back before she buries her claws into his stomach pinning him to the ground, blood beginning to flow as a slight fear sets in the young man's eyes, Xiao retracts her claws and ignores the man writhing in pain as she continues her walk towards the patriarch.

"Patriarch I'm here." She chirps happily, the doors slowly open as she walks in.

"Run into some trouble on the way here?" His gaze lowers to her bloody fingers

"Nope I dealt with it.. some prideful young master tried to convince me to marry him instead and attacked me when her didn't. What confused me though was how her knew of my engagement to Fei in the first place."

The patriarch sighed "Seems like your parents let slip select details of your engagement to cause you trouble. Don't worry your parents will be punished for their outburst in the great hall earlier, I will also deal with the one who attacked you."

"Thank you Patriarch." she bows to him

"Nonsense from this day forth you will be my daughter, it made me sick the way your parents had treated you in the past.. anyways are you ready to return to Fei's clan?"

Before Xiao could speak the doors shot open as a woman with white hair and gold eyes came running into the room this woman ignored to patriarch and scooped up Xiao Baili in her arms hugging her tight. "Is it true Xiao'er!? You are to be wed soon? Who's the lucky guy? It better be someone you love, tell me." she pleaded as she bombarded Xiao with questions. Xiao summoning all of her strength managed to push off of this woman's bosom and take a deep breath before smiling, "Its true sister Yue." Her face turning red as she continues "I love him and I think he feels the same. His name is Fei Tianlong of the Azure dragon clan." Sister Yue speaks up putting her hand infront of her mouth, "Ara~~ well as long as you love each other then all is well.. but you promise to come visit me and I'll come visit you soon too." As she runs off ignoring the patriarch entirely.

The patriarch coughs "Well your sister surely cares for you, that's good I'm glad someone in you immediate family cares.. we should be off soon." He stands and walks around the desk taking Xiao's hand as they Vanish from the room as if they were never present in the first place.

Xiao Baili opens her eyes at the familiar landscape around from this vantage point she still marvels at the stunning mountain range that surrounds the clan, a pair of lizard beast like servants appear and begin to escort her to her new home.

Outside the clan main gate Du Baili stands then speaks, "At least something good came out of our current situation.. I fear the peaceful world they are used to will soon shake.. not only the demon are rising but that faction of humans hellbent on human supremacy." He sighs then Vanishing into mist.
