"Oh, now you're returning my words?"

"No."

"What a bitch" Leo finished cooking several omelettes piled up. There were about five omelettes. Leo turned around, looking at Ana with a big smile and not forgetting to bring a plate and fork filled with omelettes.

Leo approached Ana slowly, Ana, who was standing behind the dining table, enjoyed the view in front of her. Until Leo and Ana's faces only had a distance of five centimetres. The four eyes had been staring at each other since before. Leo's eyes dropped towards Ana's lips, he brought his face closer until it was only two centimetres away. Suddenly Ana closed her eyes. Leo smiled as he put down the plate he was carrying. Leo walked back slowly. It's also fun doing girls.

Leo didn't know that Ana's heart was already pounding. Leo did not know that Ana's heart was beating like this. The sound of Ana's heart doesn't reach Leo's ears, does it? Damn. Ana closed her eyes, she didn't want to look at Leo's sharp eyes that made her heart go crazy. Besides, what was she doing right now?

"What are you doing closing your eyes?"

Ana opened her eyes, realising what she was doing. Damn, what was she thinking until she closed her eyes. Shit. Leo would definitely make fun of her after this.

"Who closed their eyes? I was just blinking" Ana argued.

Leo just smiled in response to her absurd answer, "Then why is your face so red? Both your ears are red too"

"Dih! What the hell!" Ana dodged Leo's question and moved the plate containing the omelette that Leo had cooked. Ana was really hungry. Plus Leo was very close to Ana. It felt like Ana was going to faint soon.

Currently, Ana and Leo sat facing each other at the dining table. Ana did not offer the food in front of her. Leo just watched Ana, seeing Ana who ate with gusto made him already full. Yes, although Leo hasn't eaten either. But it's okay, Leo can hold it.

"Diana, I'm sorry"

Ana choked on her food when she heard Leo call her by that name. A name she hadn't heard in years. Seeing Ana choking, Leo rushed to get mineral water and poured it in a glass.

"Are you okey?" there was a look of anxiety on Leo's face.

"I'm okey, thanks"

"Just eat slowly, I'll wait for you."

"What are you talking about?"

"What?"

"I'm sorry. What is this?"

"Continue eating, I'll wait for you outside. We'll talk outside"

"Hey, dude, this is my house."

Leo ignored her, he stood up and walked slowly towards the living room. An exasperated Ana quickly ate her omelette and drank a glass of water. She ran a little as she headed towards the living room. Wait. Why is Ana being like this? Curious. Yes, because she was curious. There is no other purpose. Okay. Plant that in your brain Ana. Don't let your body and heart fight it.

Ana laid down on the sofa, opposite Leo, "Speak."

"Our luggage got mixed up. I apologise for that."

The thin curve on Ana's lips was etched, sarcastically. It turned out that the expectation that Leo would apologise for anything else was wrong, the biggest mistake. Hoping that Leo would apologise if he had abandoned Ana all this time. Haha. So funny. Why did Ana have such high expectations. The expectation of that simple statement made Ana cold.

"It's okey" Ana replied with a nod of her head.

"As for your clothes, please bring them here. Let me wash them now."

Leo wondered why Ana was speaking formally to him again, "Ah, sorry. I forgot, I only brought your suitcase."

"I'll take my suitcase now"

When Ana moved from her seat, the tiny hand was blocked by Leo. Ana looked back, "Why?"

There was no answer. Leo just stared at the two beads, seeing that Ana's eyes could not lie if she was sad. Her eyes were glazed over as if she was disappointed with what Leo had said a few minutes ago.

"I'm really sorry, Diana" Leo now spoke sincerely to Ana.

"Yes, I forgive you" Ana was indifferent.

"Sit down, I want to have a serious talk now."

"May I take your suitcase first?"

"Is the suitcase more important than our current relationship, Diana?" Leo sarcastically snapped.

Ana tried to release Leo's hand grip but to no avail, "Please remove your choke hold from me!"

"I'll release your hand if you sit down."

Ana finally sat down next to Leo, but Leo was reluctant to release his grip from Ana, "I'm already seated, please remove your hand from me."

Finally Leo released his hand from Ana. Ana's hand was slightly reddened because Leo was holding it a little strongly. Ana held her wrist and hoped that the redness would disappear soon.

"I'm sorry, Diana"

"You've apologised too much" Ana replied to Leo's words lazily.

"I love you."

Those words. Words that Ana had not heard in years. Today she heard those words again. Her heart was beating fast again. The flat face that Ana was now making so that Leo wouldn't realise that she was putting on this face just so that Leo wouldn't expect more.

"I don't love you" Ana said firmly.

Leo who heard Ana's answer was a little surprised, but he immediately returned his surprised face, "I will explain everything first. Please listen to me."

Ana remained in her silent state with her face flat and facing forwards. Even so, Leo would still explain as clearly as possible about what happened all those years ago.

"After you tell me what happened all this time, I won't change what I said."

"At least listen to my explanation first. I just want to make it clear, about whether you love me or not. Only you know about your feelings, Diana. I don't insist if you don't love me anymore."

"My mind is made up. Do you want to stay in the Alexander family or leave the clan? The decision is yours."

"You know son, I wouldn't make a big decision without careful consideration. Mum and Dad love you very much. And because we love you, you have to do it."

"I'm not interested in business at all, Mum. You know that."

The atmosphere in Leo's mansion was very quiet and tense. There was an argument between them because Leo, who was still in college, had to run his parents' business which was on the brink. Leo was not interested in the business world at all. His mother already knew that. Why did they both still insist on passing it on to Leo. They should have hired a reliable business person to fix the family business. Not Leo.

"Father will give you until tomorrow night to explain it to your lover. He'll definitely support you. Or just bring him home, I'll explain it to him myself."

Leo suddenly turned to his father. Why was his father bringing up his girlfriend? Wasn't he just going to work for the company, if he went home he could still meet his girlfriend. That is if Leo would accept to continue his parents' business.

"Why do you want to meet Diana? I'm just going to work to run the business, right?"

"You'll be travelling back and forth across the island and even overseas. You may not even remember that we are still your parents when you are already working. Ask your mum the rest, I have to go back to work to take care of the paperwork you'll be doing. Remember, Leo, I'm standing behind you to supervise and help you get the job done."
