Chapter 92, The Obsidian Jade

"What do we do?" Angie asked.

Outside, the Obsidian Jade and Phantom Toupe aee present. The Phantom Troupe are pretty well known. They're a group of thieves that steal anything that is precious or rare. In the east, they're called the Nights because they come under the cover of the night to steal whatever they want. How they got the Obsidian Jade is unknown to me but its better if we destroy that cursed gem and quickly too.

"Growth." I summoned it and sent it out.

I link my vision with Growth and I see that there are five people on the lake's surface. But... around the mountain there are so many of them. They're all wearong hoods and cloaks so I can't make out their faces.

"Should we go out gun blazing?" Zhen asked.

"Growth, Advent." I said and strings appeared on my hand.

"At the count of three, we attack." I stated.

"Okay then." They answered.

"One. Two. Three!" I exclaimed and jumped outside. "Growth, Daylight!"

A blinding flash of light shines above the lake and we all spread out and begin our attack.

"What was that?" I can hear the voices of the people ask.

"Thunderclap Sword!" Alistar slashes with his sowrd that is wraped in lighting.

"Arrow Rain!" Alexis fires an arrow into the sky causing it to continuously rain down arrows on the enemy.

"Medusa Strings!" Lucas' ties up the enemy in strings.

"What are you doing! There are only so many of them, subdue them!" The voice of a man stated, he seemed to be their leader.

"Dance of Fallen Leaves." Around Lia, leaves began to gather and flew out in each direction with great force.

"Sacred Hammer." Liam began hitting people with his hammer.

"Tch. There are a lot of them." Theo said as he shot his gun at a man without hesitation.

"Ethan, Andrew, Adele, with me, we're taking care of their leader!" I called out as we ran for their leader.

"You won't get past us." A pair stopped us. A woman with darm brown eyes and what I can make out to be brown hair and the other was a man with blue eyes and what I can tell to be black hair.

"Leave these two to us." Ethan and Adele said and we nodded.

Andrew and I moved closer while the two fought and we were stopped by a large man with black eyes and black skin with black hair.

"I'll handle him, go!" Andrew yelled at me as he dodge the man's punches that cracked the ice.

I jump into the air and charge at their leader who stood at the center of the lake.

"That's as far as you'll get!" I hear someone say and suddenly I fall to ground.

I turn my head to see a man with crimson hair and eyes with white skin weighing down on me. This guy is heavy, his weighing down on me pretty strongly too. I can't move let alone keep Growth in place.

"Arata!" Will's voice calls out to me.

"You'll be my first servant." Their leader, a man with black hair with an eye patch covering his left eye and black right eye with white skin said as he took of his eye patch to reveal the Obsidian Jade. "Submit!"

"Arata!" Theo calls out as the man above me leaves.

"Thank you." I smiled kicking the man who weighed unto me back.

"Impossible!" He exclaimed.

"Let me tell you something special. I'm not affected by the Obsidian Jade because the Obsidan Jade is something born from Greed, it uses that Greed to subjugate others but it can't affect the Sacred Flowers." I answered and held out my hand and before me a sword fell.

A single bladed sword with a golden blade and hilt. On the hilt, the Sacred Flower's crest is present. I take the sword and hold it firm. The Obsidian Jade is in his eye, I have to get it out without killing him.

"Scattered Petals." I said and I easily move past the crimson haired man and charged at their leader. "Rose Thorn."

"Tch. Hyaa!" He blocks it but he is sent back a few feet from me. "Keep him away. If I can't control him then I'll just wake up the Black Turtle!"

"Yes sir!" They all answered.

"Growth, Advent!" I ordered and once again Growth shines bright.

Advent isn't just a flash of light, it allows me to enhance my body and even boost my abilities. It can even, if nececssary act as a spell to break time for an instant.

"Sit upon the Froze Heavens, Ice Dragon!" Snow's voice stated and a dragon of ice attacked the man infront of me. "Le Fleur, pelase stop that man, leave this one to me."

"Okay." I chased after the man who had the Obsidian Jade as he dahsed for the center of the lake.

"I order you, heed the call of the Obsidian Jade and awaken!" He shouted and the Obsidian Jade glowed bright and rose to the air.

Tch. I was a moment to late. The ice beneath our feet began to tremble and I could feel the power of the Black Turtle awakening. This is bad.

"I, keeper of the frozen ice and forever frost order you, suppress the one I will and hold true to your vow that day, Frozen Pledge." Snow chanted and the rumbling stopped. "Le Fleur, please hurry, and stop that man!"

"You got it." I answered. "I, Arata, now order the ice and snow, bend and break, freeze and melt, become my sword and cut through, both cold and celar, Icicle Blade!"

"What the?!" The man was slowly covered in ice. "Tch. Awaken!!"

The ice once again begins to quake harder and harder and Snow shouts out in pain. I turn to see Snow being wrapped in ice and snow and as the ice cracks, the Black Turtle emerges. It imminates rage and the disgusting feeling I felt from the Obsidian Jade. The Black Turtle, has been forced awake by the darkness of the Obsidian Jade.
