The ship begins to glow, illuminating the departure as we waved goodbye to our friends and families. As the dawn shines brightly, I picture it in my head before we're engulfed by the darkness of the night and a stream of light begins to guide us.
"So, we're really going." Andrew says as we stare into the unknown.
"What lies behind the worlds.. the world where everything first began. The First World." I stated as I gazed at the streams of light.
"How long will it be?" Alex asks.
"Only a few minutes." Saint answered.
-----
Arata and the Braves have just departed, the remaining Braves, along with the Ancients stand at the Sidus Pontem. All silent, as they watched the last of the light take Arata and the Braves to the Primis Orbis.
"So, they're off... We can only wait now..." Arata's Mom stated.
"No. There's something we can do." Theo says as his grip on his trident tightens.
"Theo's right." Felicia stated as she held her sword. "As Arata and the others go up to the Primis Orbis, the Calamity will attempt to flood this world with chaos."
"While Arata and the others go up to the Primis Orbis, we must defend this world and the Sidus Pontem." Dino says as he fixes his clothes.
"All students, prepare to take arms." Mayumi takes the reigns. "We'll defend the place they'll come home to."
In a loud yell the Braves answer in unison. Determined to defend the world from the Chaos no matter the cost.
-----
"Arata, we're here." Saint says as the flashing lights finally clear and the Braves find a world enveloped by darkness.
"So, this is the Primis Orbis?" Al asked as we gazed at the world covered by darkness.
"What's left of it." I answered. "The Primis Orbis was once a beautiful world, teeming with life. But after the incident with Felicia, the world was consumed by the Storm of Catastrophe."
"Then, how is this still here?" Zhen asked pointing to the castle covered by a giant tree.
"The Tree of Origin is the only thing left that can maintain its own space untainted by the Chaos." I answered. "But even it's own field is nearing it's end. Without any Ancient to care for it, the Tree's power is finally reaching it's limit. Our goal is for me to get there and purify the Chaos once and for all."
"And our job is to make sure you get there safely." Will says, placing his hand on my shoulder and giving it a reaffirming squeeze.
"Incoming!!" Alex calls out as waves of black light fly towards us.
"What is that?" Andrew asked.
"Shadow Remnants." I say. "They're remnants of the Primis Orbis' that have been corrupted and turned into monsters by the Calamities."
"How do we get rid of them?" Al asked.
"Here's The Light." I cast a ripple of light to drive away the Shadow Remnants. "Shadow Remnants rely on the Calamity's corruption in order to exist, when expose to Fate Energy, they're easily dispersed."
"So where are we landing?" Saint asked as he steered the Asterion.
"Head to the northern end of the island, it'll be easier to access the Tree of Origin." I answered. "The Shadow Remnants are pesky but they'll be easily destroyed when exposed to my aura."
"Then, to the northern end it is." Saint says steering the ship towards the northern end.
----
"Thunder Trail!" Theo's trident buries itself into the head of the Fingers charging at him.
"Southern Wind!" Ophelia flies forward, her trail burning everything in it's path.
"Evasive maneuvers!!" Lucas shouts as blasts of dark rays rain from the skies.
"Void Gate!" Leon opens portals overhead, sending the blasts of light into the void.
"Tch. There's so many of them that we can't keep up." Touya says as he dodges the Fingers flying towards him.
"Thousand Pages!" Pages of Adelié's books fly around the Braves defending them from the Fingers.
As the Braves hold their ground against the Catastrophe, large rays of black light fall from the sky, crashing into the ground leaving sizeable craters.
"Lady Felicia, there's something in the crater!!" Rum announces and the Braves turn their attention to the crater to witness giant beasts emerge from the craters in the ground.
"What in the world are those things?" Adonis asked holding his flute tightly.
"They're upper-ranked Fingers. Be careful, they're stronger and more intelligent than simple Fingers." Siel states as he attacks the beast with beams of light.
"May, Lina, Diana, take Spiro inside the Castle and prepare to create a recovery area." Mayuri takes the reigns and orders the three.
"Will do." Lina says and retreats towards the castle with Diana and May, Spiro they pick up along the way.
"Ritter, go and protect them." Velti orders and Ritter follows the group back into the castle.
"Felicia, have you noticed?" Gunilla asks as Felicia strikes the Fingers before her.
"Yeah. The Harbinger are no where to be seen." Felicia answered concerned. "You don't think..."
"It's possible." Siel answered as he dove into the horde of Fingers. "I only pray Arata is fine."
-----
"Incoming Remnants!!" Saint struggles to land as Remnants begin to circle the Asterion in great numbers.
"Here's a Light!" Arata casts his spell once more but as soon as the Remnants clear, new Remnants come to replace them.
"Tch. They just keep coming back." Van complains as he defends the shops bow.
"They're probably drawing power from the Catastrophe." I answered reaching for my blade. "I am the one who carries the eight-petaled flower, the one who knows the origin and a finale, here at this moment, I severe the cycle of creation and destruction, returning all to nil. Disperse and and disappear, here at the farthest end of the worlds, fate be granted, Fate's Finale!"
With a draw of my sword, a ring of light circles around me and towers to the skies, spreading outward they destroy the Remnants that are around us.
"Arata, you alright?" Will helps me as I prop myself on my sword.
"I'm fine." I answered with a smile. "Just a little exhausted."
"Wew. I didn't expect that you could purify every single Remnant here." A voices diverst our attention and we find Frajil floating above us, his fellow Harbingers by his side.
