Arc 14; Southern Peninsula, Chapter 96, Southern Peninsula
"So, this is the Southern Peninsula?" Adele asked.
We spent three nights sailing here via Growth's ship and have just arrive. The south is a Continent composed of five major alnd massess and thousands of isalnds the ring it's outer ranges. It is unified under the banner of the Sovereign and is a contient that proactively helps in the battle with chimeras.
"So, what's the south like?" Adonis asked.
"The South is known as the Paradise Islands. Because the sights here are so beuatiful that a person wouldn't believe it snd thought he died and went to paradise." Alexis stated. "The south is a contient that thrives due to tourism and its rich in natural resources and wonder. Most notably, the Great Falls, Singing Valley, Hanging Garden and Moss Forest."
"What's this Hanging Garden and Moss Forest about?" Leon asked. "I can get a rough idea of the Great Falls and Singing Valley, but what about the later two?"
"The Hanging Garden is literally a garden that hangs off the side of a cliff. There are also places here rich in a material known as Vi stones that, is large in quantity, creafe a zero gravity field." Liam stated. "That is the Hanging Garden, a beautiful area of the land that hovers a couple hundred feet above ground thanks to the zero gravity field produced vy the Vi Stones."
"As for the Moss Forest, it's a giant forest covered completely in moss. It's so mossy that many believe so of the moss dates back to before the Chimera arrived." Reinhardt answered
"But you said the south was formed after the Chimera war." Angie said.
"They're moss that had grown in caverns deep within the sea bed and some were preserved in the ice of Antarctic before it meoted and made sea levels rise causing the south to form." I answered. "Some were formed recently after the ice melted. When parts of the sea froze over, so had microscopic organisms in them. This lead to the waters being rich after they melted creating beautiful coral reefs and moss forests near the sea."
"So where are we in the South?" Rachel asked.
"The Maya Island. They're actually two of them but they're joined by a bridge that crosses the sea." I answered. "The Hanging Garden is located in Grande Island. The place we need to get to is Coral Island."
"That's on the eastern side of the Southern Peninsula. We'd have to cross over seven islands then to the mainland and then it's a four day trip across towns and cities till we reach the eastern port and an additional seven islands." Theo sighed. "We'd better get going. The port closes at five o'clock."
"Let's go." I answered.
We hopped off the ship and began our long and arduous trip to Coral Island. There isn't much to see on Maya island so we basically just rode a taxi to the port and got on the boat. The boat ride only took a few hours, along the way there were dolphins which was nice.
"Hey, did you hear that rumour that's been going on?" I overhear two women talking.
"Ah, you mean about that weird boy going around saying that Coral Island isn't safe anymore?" The other woman answered. "Yeah. He was such a nutcase."
"Excuse, can you tell me more about that, ladies." Lucas smiled.
Fir a while Lucas chats with them and in that duration Van and I talk.
"So, the Obsidian Jade didn't just wound up in the hands of the Phanton Troupe?" I asked.
"Yeah. It was apparently given to them by a robed person." He answered. "That person then told them how to get to the Frozen Lake and how to use it. Arata, someone is trying to upset the balance."
"Yeah. Could they be Hereticals?" I asked him.
"You think they're still alive?" He asked.
"Ivy said that she finished off all the Hereticals during her time, but if there are still some, I'll get rid of them." I answered. "What about the others?"
"Still nothing on the Hero and Beacon." He answered. "Arata, you'd better be careful. If they're Hereticals, they won't ignore us. We have been tasked with Roles, we are in their way."
"I will." I answered abd he smiled and walked away.
Hereticals, a group of people who wish to join the Chimeras in their goal of dominating the worlds. These individuals have caused many problems for the previous Fleurs. Especially to Ivy. She said that she eliminated them during her rage but could she have missed some.
'I'm going to take a nap.' I told the ithers via telepathy and they gave their okay.
I close my eyes and enter the Dream Castle where the oters have gathered. Judging by the looks onntheir faces they know why I'm here. However, before I can say anything, Elias speaks.
"We can't tell you who yor enemy is but be weary of this one." Elias stated. "They are cunning, they have evaded our notice, most likely they've been pulling the stirngs for a long time."
"They have been pulling the strings behind Arata's events." Ivy said. "We'll keep watch as well, so be wary at all times."
"I will." I answered.
Even the others don't know who we are up against. This person will be very cumbersome to catch. Then, I'll have to weave a next to catch this slippery one. They've been behind my events?
"What do you mean, the ones behind my events?" I asked.
"Those heightened Chimeras, the release of the seal, the sudden teleportation that lead you to Will, the monsters you've fought so far." Gregory answered. "It's highly likely they've been pulling the strings beuind you for a long time now. Even the White Tiger and Black Turtle's incident."
"Then I'm dealing with a dangerous foe indeed." I answered.
"Indeed." She answered.

"I'm suprised, he has mastered his familiar to this extent." I smiled as I watch the end of the battle. "However, we need more."
"Master, waht shall we do next?" Addy and Eddy asked.
"Prepare the Black Quartz and Crimson Diamond." I smiled.
"The Jewel of Sloth and Gluttony, very well." Addy answered. "Who shall we entrust it to?"
"The next pieces." I answered. "I leave it to you."
"As you wish." Eddy answered as the two disappeared in to shadows.
"Now then, the next stage, is the Great Coral Seas." I smiled. "Dance, my little puppets, on the stage that your puppeteer has prepared for you!"
