Learning how to train myself to use mana efficiently didn't take too long.
Considering that I literally just had to concentrate and had a hack doing it for me.
Then I just watched as my power just went up.
3 months.
That's all it took for me to break into late soldier stage.
With constantly pushing my body, I was easily able to train myself to the extreme.
I wasn't even that far from the peak soldier stage.
My plan was simple.
From now on, I will focus only on training my spear. Spear, day in and day out for a couple of months. Then, start training myself against some monsters.
This is to mainly increase my battle strength.
I do not want to break into the general stage by accident, if I did, I would have a massive problem without the procedure.
If I didn't take the procedure, I would have to either blaze a new path in alchemy to bring my body up to Shangs level, or hope that god gives me the pills in the trails which is a waste.
So the plan is simple.
From now on, I will not train at all in my body anymore.
I will focus solely on the spear for the next 8 months.
Then, I will hunt beasts for a couple of months, trying the barbarians training method to get stronger.
Technically, my foundation is even more solid than Shangs, considering I am allowing myself to gain complete peak strength in the soldier stage as well.
While minimal, hopefuly it would help me in the long run.
After all, I don't have an affinity to elemental magic, so I have to probably become a weapon master to beat Shang.
But the thing is, I Shang is also walking the path of weapons.
He is also making sure his body is the strongest it can be.
He has affinities to back him up, not just one but many.
Let alone his broken Entropy domain.
He also has his trump card of permanently sacrificing parts of his body to fight against people he cannot win.
And the experience of 150 years more than me.
The reason why I needed to beat Shang, is because then God would focus on me more, meaning better loot for me, and since Shang is the protagonist who is supposed to defeat God, it means that he will do it in the future.
For me to become the most powerful in the world, I will also have to beat him.
That means I need to be unique while training my weapons and use the advice god gave me.
Master the basics of the spear, then master the basics of the sword and merge it together. That is the true path I have to take.
But how do I have a stronger True Path?
Shang himself went into the path of using 4 different types of swords, and then matching it with specific elements making better attacking options.
God wants me to do something similar with weapons.
Shang also had a completely different way of 'walking the path' to the 5th realm.
He decided to advance each of his weapons to the 5th realm, and then combine everything to the 5th realm at his 4th realm's minor breakthrough.
How about I do something similar, but instead use 5 weapons, and then different variations of each weapon?
Wait, but would that even be possible.
Even with all the longevity medications possible, someone in the True Path realm can only live for 800 years.
In the soldier stage I can live till I am 80, like a normal human.
Then in the general stage till I am 150.
In the commander stage till I am 300.
In the True path stage till I am 500 without medications.
The path I want to take would be impossible, there just isn't enough time.
So what should I do?
Follow Shangs path of the weapons, and just do 4 variations of the Spear?
But why would god tell me to combine weapons then?
This means that it has to be possible.
Maybe I am just over complicating things.
I will just learn 4 different types of weapons, and focus on 1.
I can't learn 4 variations of the spear like Shang can, since I do not have the entropy domain to keep changing my spear shape.
So, I will learn different weapons all together and combine it into the spear.
So…16 weapons in total to be like Shang? No, that's insane.
Maybe, I can do 4 weapons plus the spear to make it 5 for my True Path Stage.
Then beyond that, I mix and match them to create special attacks.
Like the spear, sword and maybe the daggers for example.
Right, this might work.
My true path has to be harder than Shangs, since I don't have half the trump cards he has.
Well, my training is more efficient than his, since I get to train in the most logical way possible.
And I will be reaping the benefits of the surgery, and the mana based attacks for general stages and the star map, all of which Shang got for the existing warriors.
Welp, time to train for 9 more months now.
'Monarchs' indifference: For the next 9 months, train the spear continuously. Eat and rest enough to not damage my body, but do not advance in rank.'
Right, it's a time skip for me too.
The fun thing is, that for me, I get all the experience of the training in a second as well, like I actually did something.
