PILLAGE II

Its been 5 months of continues battle. Exhaustion, fatigue and morale many elements support that the war must end and it must be someone who will stop it. Percival ordered his Sergeants to go to his tent to have the planning for the attack. "Next is to block the spearmen to reach to the central front so that, the 60 cavalry would be here and go on standby. " he would point on a distance to the marching spearmen. "As soon as the archers rain arrows on them. The cavalry would charge at the spearmen. To avoid allied fire estimate 4 volleys of archers would be sufficient to pinned them there." Its midnight the scout reports that the spearmen has now start to move out of the village. After the right time of destination the spermen would be ambush by the company of archers. They would be suprised, the other spearmen would try to run and hide but its too late after the 4th volley the cavalry would attack to the front. They are now immobalised and pinned. The ambush ended with over 600 spearmen died on the otherside 20 were wounded. Percival men would start to march for their new destination behind enemy lines. 2 days of marching and camping They reached the Leikanian Army Corp Camp as the both Left amd Central joined forces they renamed the camp. Once they entered the camp they were unwelcomed they just look like bunch of nobles who fight at the back while commoners fight in the front. The soldiers in the camp doesn't know it is them who make the ReinHorned surrender and make a treaty of Vandu. They entered the camp Percival ordered to take camp while he ask for the new mission that was sent to him. He entered the High Command tent. Once he entered he saw 6 Generals sitting on a round tablr discussing the attack and defense of the front battle. Percival would salute "Cadet Major Percival of the 90th attack Corp" the Generals would look at Percival and salute back. As they were planning Lt. General Rusca the head of the Operations awarded Percival the Emprors Eagle. "Good job on the war young man. Also you are noe promoted to the ranm of Lt. Colonel. You also be given another 5 Company under you. Also as the message say you need to destroy those towns immediately to stop this war young man." Percival was suprised that he uave another Field promotion but after the massacre on that village in RainHorned he ask the General." Sir why do we target civilians. After that he would whisper to his newly promoted Lt. That is a previous sergeant that he will take a nap first then they will beging marching. the 5 companies of combined Cavalry, Spearmen, Axe, Archers and a new Company that is recently being adapted by the empire the Gunpowder. It was afternoon when Percival would in his tent its very crowded in his tent cause it is the Officers tent. So he opened his eyes and look to each officers he saw they are from the LionHart and ReinHart academy but some are from the Military academy. After that he would were his uniform prepare himself and assemble his Battlion. "start moving" Said by the Lieutenants. They reach the first town the battlion passed the enemy because he didnt really bring all of his men. The town of Conta it was lively when they scouted it, As what go be expected as wagons of supplies would stop over here and then head to the frontlines. Percival would summon his sergeants to his tent and a map of the Conta village would be placed on the table. The sergeants would be forming a round circular around the table. "Now we already know that the Conta village is not supplies with soldiers only supplies so expect if we destroy the roading heading to Conta it can stop the wagons and also cut the enemys supplies. We need 2 platoons of each spearman and archers here at the cross road to set up a ambush for wagons. The wagons who got ambushed will aid to our supploes while the other of our company will attack the Conta village at midnight. I expect to burn the conta town to the fround and that is the order. I know we hate doing this but we cannot disobey the High Command. Send the plan to the other soldiers.

The plan would be happen. The wagons that are for supplies were ambushed while on the road its escorts wpuld be killed mercilessly. While the town would be burned to the ground same as what happen to the village at the RainHorned empire but they would let the children to flee. It was a massacre bodies would be left ouside of their homes the house would be burned women would be raped and men would be slain if they fight or not. The Telonian Empire would heard about this thats why the White Haired General would be furious to meet the 90th attack Corp. Their target is the town of Silica Percival would be marching his men to the forest of Agusta a forest that expand near the Fort Salium and the town of Silica. Fort Salium is near to the town of Silica thats why it will be heavily defended. They also know what happened in the town of Conta. The town of silica is one of the border towns thats why it always recives most trades thats why they have this Militia civilians in them. They would reach Fort Salium in 3 days Percival would sent a envoy saying leave the Fort or they will face destruction. Within 2 days Salium is being besiege while the town is being attacked by the half of the force of Percival. Trained cavalry is no match for a self esteemed Militias. The town was slaughtered to the last people. Then when the Fort Commander known the attacks on the town. As they saw a dark smoke in the morning they would start to get furious. Thats why they send out 60 cavalry but they would be block by Percival 90th Corp Cavalry.

"KILL THEM PROTECT OUR ALLIES FOR 90TH! shouted by thr Sergeant in charge of the Blocking force. The soldiers would reply" HOORAH FOR THE 90TH CORP" The both cavalry would collide the first casualty is with the enemy cavalry. Head would flew in the air and also bodies would be trampled. The sergeant would fire his pistol and it would hit the enemy Officer. The enemy cavalry would retreat but they would be chased by the blocking force "COWARDS FACE US!" The cavalry would not give chase to cowards. After the pillage end in the town of Silica the other half of its force would return but it will be bad as the Telonian reinforcement arrived leaded by the white haired General. The Telonian reinforcement number is 30,000 while Percival men is 700 because he didnt bring all of the 90th corp. Percival would go retreat his forces to the forest to have a better position. The Reinforcement would plan their offensive to push the enemy away from the last town. Meanwhile in Percival camp in the woods they would plan traps in the jungle and do a guerilla tactics even they are short in supplies. When morning rises the Telonian 5th brigade would enter the Forest. Then traps would start to be stepped on, one of the traps is a pit with spikes and some archers that snipe soldiers. Percival also uses his limited fire guns. The Telonian army would charge and face 150 spearmen ready. The forest became a blood forest as blood and bodies of soldier dying and wounded. The fight was a disadvantage to percival against numbers thats why he almlst lost all his spearmen. The they would retreat as they planned it. "We will not face them head on sergeants make it more deadly release the venomous snakes and atack them with arrows in long range." the sergeant would reply "Its will be followed sir" but after 4 days of guerilla tactics Percival men have been exhausted and fatigue on running and attacking. They also have take losses thats why they destroged the guns so that it will not be go to the hands of the enemy. The Telonian white haired General army would also take loses but stull they cant find the enemy cause they are hiding.

After 10 days of fighting Percival would have no choice some of his sergeants died. His force is now 50 strong he know he cant fight anymore to the White Haired General. But luckily the two Empire signed a treaty to stop the war for now. Percival received the message from a bird.
