"SHH!!!" the Ruby Carapace Lord swung its abdomen frantically to throw Technos away from its back. And by sheer luck, it succeeded in the third try when the human rolled on the ground and stopped when his back hit the tree.

The youth coughed a mouthful of blood that indicates his injury is not light. With the intention to help him to escape this critical moment, Stella and Reems charged forward to Technos, while Armin and Daniel randomly throw the stones around them to disturb the monster from attacking the helpers.

"Technos! Stay there! I'm coming!" from afar, Stella shouted to stop Technos from continue to struggle by himself. But they did not know that the youth's life-saving medicine is actually kept inside of his Elon Bracer on the right side.

Luckily, Technos did give each of them a bottle of Healing Stimulant Vial. When the two reach his side, Reems lifted Technos up so he can finish the substance kept inside of the Healing Stimulant Vial. After drinking it, his condition turned better.

Meanwhile, Armin and Daniel are having a difficulty to handle the Ruby Carapace Lord. Because their fighting skills are nowhere close to his ability, their attack continuously failed to injured the monster, and instead chased like two escaping rats.

"Technos..." Stella stopped Technos from keeping walking further. Knowing that two have something going on, Reems keep walking until he joined the two in the fight. As for Stella and Technos, she took a sword out from her backpack and handed it over to Technos.

"Although it was a dagger, at least it's better than that scrap. Use this when you fight. I will attack from afar using my bow." after she finished talking, she took an oval shape metal out from the backpack and gave it a swing. In that instant, a short bow pops up from the limbs that deployed to where it should be.

Next, she took another Archer's Bracer with seven arrows slotted on the bracer and equipped it. With herself ready to fight, Technos charged into the battle without being bothered by his previous injury. Although the dagger is not longer than the length of his elbow to the tip of his palm, it is still a weapon made from Medan-Material!

"Eat shit! You oversized mantis!" Technos swing managed to went through slightly into the joint between the scythe and the limb. While the monster cry for the pain, Technos did something similar once again, and make his way to the monster's back once more.

But this time, instead of a broken sword, it was a proper dagger. With a decisive strike, he stabbed deep inside the monster's body with the intention to take its life. While the Ruby Carapace Lord is struggling, Technos repeated his action.

After stabbing the monster for six to seven times, Technos came down from the monster's back. Fortunately, he was a moment faster before the monster rolling on the ground to force the human to let go. Looking at the Ruby Carapace Lord, Technos and the others rejuvenate their stamina as they await the monster to stop.

Once the Ruby Carapace Lord stopped, Technos took the lead to attack first. His dagger quickly stabbed into the lower jaw of the monster as it was still lying down on the ground with its belly facing upwards. As for the other four, Reems landed a blow and cut off a scythe from its joint.

As for Armin and Daniel, they took the opportunity to cut off all its limbs. Only Stella remained from far and aimed at the monster in case any changes happened. At this moment, the Ruby Carapace Lord fate has been decided.

Technos took his turn to rest while looking at the others busy processing the gigantic corpse of the monster. The carapace is taken off to retrieve the delicious flesh comparable to a shellfish, the claws were thrown aside for not being able to process.

But the moment they cut open the abdomen of the monster, it reveals a stack close to 30 pounds of Medan Stones inside! This monster actually eats the Medan Stone to help in its own digestion! This was a profitable encounter!

With everything usable is collected, the team returned to the camp handover their collection of Medan Stones. But the thing wasn't as easy as they thought. When they entered the camp safety ground, a group of students is lying on the ground breathing their last few breaths.

Each of them is heavily injured, including Quin himself. When Technos look at the main reason for their injuries is all due to something sharp, he immediately knows...

"They're the group of people accidentally messed with the nest with a Ruby Carapace Lord! In fact, how far did they go at night to mess with the nest containing a Ruby Carapace Lord?" Technos speaks in his own mind as he continues to inspect the wounded.

After the handling of corpses is done, Technos pay a visit to Daguza and hand him the remaining Medan Stones. With this, they completed their third task and will be allowed to return to the Dominus Fortress. But based on the current situation, they will need to wait for another two to three teams to complete their mission before they can leave.

Still, it was a relief to complete their mission because they can now decide to hunt or remain inside the camp until they left the Medan Lake. Within his team, only Technos chose to continue with his hunt. The other four in his team prefer to stay inside the camp until they returned to the Dominus Fortress.

At first, Stella demanded to follow Technos to his personal hunt but using the reason to explore instead of hunting for the materials, Technos convinced Stella to stay and wait for him. After getting together for four days in total, the relationship between them changed.

Based on how he performs in the hunt, it was normal to see how obsessed Stella towards Technos, especially when she holed herself inside his camp for the whole day like a filial wife waiting for her husband's return. Seeing how she behaved every day, Technos started to feel sorry to keep some secret away from her.

In fact, he did not play his little exploration game, but he's was obsessed with hunting for the monsters. Still using the Medan-Material Dagger given by Stella, Technos hunted for over twenty of the Ruby Snails and Ruby Eye Mantis in this period of three days.

On the eighth day morning, the first group prepared to leave the Medan Lake. Under the lead from Daguza, the first three teams that completed their mission early returned to the Dominus Fortress. This group consists of Five members in Technos Team, Eighteen members in Corias Team, and twenty members in Messiah Team. This further reduces the total students from 172 to 169.

Two days after the reaches the Dominus Fortress, another group of only 54 students returned. This means their number once again reduced from 169 to 160 students left. One more day later, the last group returned. Unexpectedly, no casualties happened in this final group, as their number remained at 160.

Given with the privilege to rest until the starting of next month, they're allowed to do whatever they wanted until the next Elon Carnival starts. For the others, it was a good time for them to have a sex spree, but for Technos, he was missing from his place the next day morning.

The youth moved deeper into the forest in secret to try out something that just appeared inside of his Right Elon Bracer's Inventory. In that few days before returning to the camp, he did not waste his time to explore randomly.

After looking at how bad is the amount of casualties in this third task, it made him think about his own survival capability. This time, it was out of luck he has a responsive team that willing to fight while tending to his wounds. But how about his fourth, fifth, sixth, until the tenth task?

This reason alone brings him to make a decision that crafted the path on his journey as a hunter at this moment. He will no longer remain passive. For the sake of increasing his chances of survival, Technos collected quite an amount of Medal Stone and the Rubion Dust that can increase his chances of survival.

"Alright. This place should be good enough for me to test the new weapon made from my Left Elon Bracer." Technos turned both his inner wrist to face himself. With this action, a few selection panels came out from the inner plate.

Out of accident, Technos found the method to use his Left and Right Elon Bracer efficiently. First of all, when he maintained his finger on the selection for three seconds, an image will pop up inside his mind to tell him about the material that can be processed from the rawest form. It will also create a detailed inventory view within his mind for withdrawal.

Next, by tapping the two bracers together, it transferred the processable material into the left Elon Bracer for further selection. The capacity of his Left Elon Bracer is twenty slots. As long there are twenty different objects within the Left Elon Bracer, it will then started to flash in the inner plate to remind him of the processing.

As for the new weapon mentioned by the Technos, It was actually something he made after putting so many efforts messing with the two Elon Bracers. For starter, he needs to process the Medan Stone collected on that few days into powder form, before two choices came in.

The first choice is to turn the Medan Stone Powder into an Ingot form, while the second choice is to process them into something yellowish in their powder form. Out of his curiosity, Technos tried both by wasting his first two Medan Stones, and personally see what can he do with this two product made the bracer created.

The Medan Ingot can be made into a weapon, but the amount he got from one single stone is barely enough for him to process it into a Steak knife. As for the second item, which was the yellowish powder, it can be further process into two different choices again.

On his first selection, he can decide to turn this yellowish powder into a Crystal Cube. The Crystal Cube that was made was actually an explosive item that was so dangerous it almost destroyed his two hands when he tried to cut it into two using a kitchen knife.

As for the second selection, he can form the Medan Ingot and this yellow powder together to make some small teethlike beads. Each Ingot and a portion of yellow powder can be made into twenty of these beads, wherein the mental images, it was some ammunition.

"The beads were something that filled with so many explosive powders inside. Won't it explodes when something hard smashed it? Wait... Something hard? Based on how soft is the beads, won't it explodes if I throw it at the monsters?" This is what happened to Technos before he sneaks outside the Dominus Fortress.

"Oh! Hey, little Red Ruby Champion. Are you ready for this brother's amazing secret weapon?" Technos withdraws two of the Explosive Beads in his hand as he prepared to fight against the fierce Red Ruby Champion. With a bead in both of his hands, Technos came up with the idea to provoke the Red Ruby Champion.

"Eat this!" Technos throws the first Explosive Bead towards the Red Ruby Champion, and like it hearing what he said, the Red Ruby Champion swallowed the bead and heading towards Technos! Worst of all, the Explosive Bead did not explode at all!

"Oh... F*ck."

I'm sorry, some little matters caused the new chap to come out late. But I'll try to make one more chapter before the end of Sunday in Asia Pacific time.
