Chapter 35: Earth Nation!!!

After the episode that transpired within the forest nation, Laura Chen opened up the forest nation entrance, and the 10 representatives she had selected personally followed her out of it.

On seeing the approaching Lancelot and the people that followed behind him, Kendra felt a bit relaxed, she knew somehow that Nosu's life was spared and the only thing that mattered was leaving.

So that makes up 40 elementals in all, 10 soldiers from forest nation together with the 28 soldiers remaining from fire, beast, and water troops and also Dice, and then Kendra and Lancelot.

They matched forth to the Earth nation. The Earth nation was the only other nation in the Chimitra continent apart from the forest nation.

The citizens were skilled in all manners of control over the earth element, being able to lift large coverage of landmass and transport it over huge distances.

They were also skilled in agriculture and housing, they were a relatively skillful nation that would rather not go to war, although the air nation had not conquered them, they had chosen to be subservient to the air nation, abiding by their rules and yielding whatever wealth they had without holding back.

Certain citizens of the earth nation have special abilities like earth tremor and earth blast which involve being able to cause breathtaking earth shakings and large scale earthquakes that could cause serious damage, however, none beyond the level 4 elemental control was to be seen, and most of the elementals with those special abilities would rather hide within the nation.

In the earth nation, a green robe-clothed elemental stood in front of another, they both were discussing in hushed tones, keeping their voices down from being discovered.

"Have you heard about the element King?",

"The element King? Garfar, is this a joke?"

"No I'm serious, the element King is real, he has conquered the air nation and killed the air nation god, he has even killed the tyrant Paige Kalliester, I also heard that he has just been to the forest nation and should be on his way here to unite the kingdoms under one rule, I'm excited"

"Killed the air nation god? What did you smoke this morning Garfar, seriously, you've started all these useless rumors, the last time you said the earth nation would be attacked by the air nation, here we are safe and sound.."

"We are safe and sound because the Element King has protected us from being attacked by the air nation by dealing with them first. He can control all elements, he is going from nation to nation to connect with each ancestral land to..."

"Oh now I get it, so you're talking about the chosen one, pfft, get out of here, don't come and waste my time this morning, I have more important things to do"

As both of them were in a heated discussion, a sudden series of yelling could be heard coming from the gate.

This drew their attention as they both ran to check what the cause of the commotion was.

Lancelot was standing there with the other 39, and he had a look of extreme calmness as he strolled towards the huge gates of the earth nation.

The two soldiers went out from an opening in the earth that looked like a pit, their cloaks were neat for people who just emerged from a hole in the ground.

"Who are you, what brings you here, and why are different elemental nations traveling together, is that the water priestess? oh wow," He immediately opened the gate upon seeing the water Priestess.

A lot of elementals hadn't seen the water priestess in a while but the respect that the elemental world had for her was huge and her fame had spread as far and as wide as her tales were told.

They knew the sacrifices she had made over the years and her legend had spread across all the element nations.

A single mention of the name Kendra could bring huge opportunities to any elemental involved, the name is almost as influential as the word 'the chosen one', even more so because the Chosen one was considered a myth that was never really believed.

Kendra strolled in followed by Lancelot and the 39 others. The guard that had discovered the presence of Kendra, ran off to inform the King of the Earth nation and other important chiefs.

While the presence of the legendary water priestess spread like wildfire through the land such that the whole nation had practically gathered at the King's Palace to witness the presence of the legend, 'Kendra'.

They had heard rumors of her bravery and doggedness, and ability to stand against the might of the air nation, to them, none of the rumors they heard about the death of the Air nation god and Paige Kalliester made sense.

The presence of an existing Element King seemed too good to be true but Kendra's possible involvement was the only thing that made sense, even though her return couldn't quite be explained.

"That is indeed Kendra, wait, that is the Element King, that guy in the blue robe of the water nation, but I know he is a fire nation elemental. Well that doesn't matter, I know the face like the back of my hand, he is the Element King and he is here to take some of us with him to establish the new United Kingdom."

"Garfar, you're high this morning, better go and get sober quickly before the King uses you as an example for others, keep your voice down with all these your jokes, it's not funny anymore, her lordship, Kendra the Water priestess is here so please don't disgrace us"

"I am indeed serious, just watch and see, you'd notice that the entourage here is a mixture of nations, there is the beast nation, that is lord Dice from the blood nation, water nation troops are here, as well as fire nation troops, they even have forest nation troops as well, they want us to join the group, seriously..."

The other elemental whom Garfar had been in intense discussion with then took his time to scan the crowd and discovered that indeed some of his words are quite true, and the words that Garfar spoke were heard naturally by those around, and they too started to seriously consider and discuss it.

Before the team got to the Palace, the rumor had gotten to the King, that an Elemental King was within his walls and he had even killed the air nation god and the notorious Paige

Kalliester.

Lancelot never spoke a single word all through as he allowed Kendra to take the limelight completely, he walked just slightly behind her, and to his left was Laura Chien and to his other right was Xanthu and, Dice, the general of the fire nation stood by the left beside that of the beast nation.
