Life had its up and downs, the frequency varied from individual to individual. Shirou Emiya was one individual whose frequency of up and downs very extreme from the start.
The city where he lived burned down and everyone died but he survived. His family died but he got adopted by a magus. He learned magic and learned from a hero of justice.
His foster father died and he got involved into grail war, a fight between heroic spirits. He entered the world of extreme brutality and faced death countless times.
He faced situations that made him question his beliefs, his beliefs about the hero of justice. Shirou was a person that felt guilty for surviving that tragedy and found release in helping others. He was obsessed with the ideal Hero.
He cared not for his life and just helping others brought him some sense of relief. Through the course of the war, he was faced with many questions.
People cared for him and his actions brought them pain. His actions of putting himself in all kinds of situations without regard for the effectiveness or anything made the situation worse sometimes, it was a fact that he realized with the help of Archer.
He was forced to reevaluate his belief again when the situation called for choosing the world or Sakura, the girl he loved and someone that had suffered throughout life.
For the greater good, kill her or save her. He chose to save her and everything went well as they saved Sakura.
The war ended and everything was returned to normal except for the fact that now he was in a relationship with three girls.
With the end of the war, Saber was supposed to disappear but Rin managed to make her into a familiar for the sake of their friendship and Shirou.
Shirou had never thought about anyone loving him as he didn't love himself but life had its plans and he was attracted to Rin, he was attracted to Sakura and he was attracted to Saber from the moment she appeared in the world.
These bonds grew throughout the war and he liked them all, and he confessed his true feelings for them as they had taught him to express himself without feeling unworthy.
It was a miracle but all of them accepted him. Sakura was obsessed with him and didn't care if he had more by his side.
Saber found herself because of him, just like she for him. They saved each other and were connected by a powerful bond.
Rin was prideful but her love was true for him and even though she insisted on making him hers, she accepted the arrangement.
They lived like a happy family and Shirou increased his training to walk the path of the hero with his family by his side to avoid the future of Archer Emiya.
But life had its plans and after just a year, Shirou found himself summoned to another world by unknown individuals. He was now eighteen years old and was building a reputation in the world as a hero. Before being summoned he had just taken down a gang involved in drugs and human trafficking.
The power of the magic used on him was too powerful for him to resist even after his training with Rin. But the moment the magic finished, he realized that his clothes had vanished as well and he was on an altar.
Surrounding him were people clothed in white and he could see that they were humans. His head was feeling heavy and his vision was shaky but he was vary and alarmed by the situation.
He couldn't understand a word they were saying and when they approached him with some kind of crown or something, he kicked the person and sent him flying back.
Shirou pushed against the altar and jumped over the unknowns to land behind them while operating his magic and summoning his swords Byakuya and Kanshou.
The unknowns mutter something and it seems they were definitely not friends. They summoned him without any choice and that ring seems to be a magical device.
The whole room was blank and white with that altar in the middle, the altar with some kind of magical seal carved under it.
He could sense magic from all these people and they reminded him of the priests. Looking at their reactions Shirou could tell they didn't expect him to resist and use magic.
Taking the opening from their surprise, Shirou ran through the opening and exited the room to arrive in a hallway where he came face to face with knights.
'Where am I?' Shirou was confused. He thought someone had summoned him in his own world not some other world.
Seeing armor and magic only told him that he was facing some underground magical society.
With swift attacks with his twin blades, Shirou shook their heads with cleans hits to the helmets. There were 4 guards and Shirou dragged one of them along the way as he ran through the hallway to find an exit and clues about his location.
The unknowns didn't seem to want to kill him so it was the right choice to rush and find clues even if the ending is being captured.
Along the way he found more of those priest and Knights, Shirou discarded the Knight on his shoulder and took one of the priest as it was less of a burden and the person would most likely know more.
Running through many twists and turns, Shirou decided to enter a storage room and woke up the priest he had knocked out.
The man tried to scream but Shirou covered his mouth and put the dagger on his neck, "Tell me where am I?"
But looking at his gaze, Shirou realized that the man couldn't understand him.
Fortunately, Shirou had trained with Illya and Rin. Shirou was naturally not a talent magus since he came from a normal family. His circuits were low quality and he had low reserves that he couldn't even use his best abilities without support.
But the problem was being gradually solved by Illya and Rin as they artificially increased his circuits and mana reserves. It was the problem of limited power that destroyed his future so Rin wouldn't allow such a thing to happen, she focused on finding ways to make him happy.
In the year since the war, Shirou's reserves had increased and he had learned many spells to make a better fighter. He could use his father's abilities and he learned other support skills to help his hero life.
One of these spells was translation magic, he keep it active and translate what others were saying since he couldn't learn all languages and heroism would pit him with people around the globe.
Using the magic, Shirou asked again and his use of magic further surprised the man.
"You are in Ark Continent and this is a research lab under the authority of the Temple of White Sacrament in the Capital of the Holy Empire. Desist with this futile resistance Outsider or the White Lord shall punish you for this disrespect." The man showed arrogance and no signs of fear. It was their home territory.
With his words, Shirou wasn't able to tell if it was the truth or a lie but the man didn't have any reason to lie.
'Did I just arrive in another world?' Shirou thought and was very much displeased.
"How do I go back?"
The man smiled and snickered, "There is no going back, you are to be the slave of the White Lord so surrender just like the rest of your kind."
"Others, you summoned others. Where are they, what did you do to them?" Shirou attention was taken by the knowledge others had been summoned.
From the reactions he had gotten, they had not expected someone with power. Meaning, they summoned normal people. Seeing how they were treating him, nothing could have happened.
"Why so worried? They are doing their part in the world in the service of the Lord."
"Cut the bull shit and tell me what did you do?" Shirou threatened as he cut the cheek of the crazy man causing him to scream but he blocked his mouth again.
"Try that again and I will plunge this into your heart, Understood?"
The man nodded and told him what he wanted, and it was ugly as he expected. They were summoning people from his world and treating them as slaves, not just normal slaves but as experimental materials in their sick research in dark magic.
They had summoned over hundred people by now and he was just one of many. This place was one of their research labs and it was in the capital where the main force of the White Sacrament existed.
The man warned him not to act childishly and surrender peacefully before it became worse for him. The mage squads and the Knight squads would take him down, and if necessary the Apostle could appear.
Seeing that the man was very much an unforgivable enemy, Shiro killed him after asking about the others since his words about the exit couldn't be trusted.
'Save the others or escape?' Shirou thought and decided to check out the place where the others were locked, and if it was possible then he would save them. He had changed greatly from his previous self so he wasn't willing to throw away his life as it was precious. His loved ones were waiting for him and such he would not allow himself to fall.

A.N Hope you enjoyed and comment.
This novel one of my favorites and Shirou is one my fav mc's. I would have written stories with my fav characters long ago but I got stuck into the comfort zone. Naruto manga and character aren't my fav. I wrote so many Naruto fanfics because it was the most current thing that i had read when i thought about writing. I started with Naruto and planned to move onto others but my mind got stuck in the quagmire.
This is for the people wondering why I write so many Naruto fanfics.
