Chapter Five: You Leave and I Will Follow 2

I was determined to follow him, to the point that I left without eating the food I had been bought. So I followed him out of the inn, wrapping the cloak he'd given me tighter around myself. I don't even know how long I followed him as I was afraid to lose sight of him. So I kept going as we entered the next town, I watched him disappear down an alley. I stood at the entrance of the alley for a half a heartbeat before I followed him just to find myself pinned against the wall. At first I was terrified until I realized just who had me pinned. As I stared at his gorgeous face I realized that I was very attracted to him, to the point that if he demanded my life I would gladly offer my neck to him. Then I realized that I was in trouble, so I closed my eyes and waited for it. What I got instead was my first kiss. It was hard and soft, sweet and demanding and a little punishing at the same time. As abruptly as it started, it was over. He walked out of the alley, just to turn back around and stare. Then he walked away and I hurried to follow him. I went on like this for I don't know how long until it finally happened, I was on the verge of collapse. What made it worse, the asshole who murdered my entire family, forced me to flee in the middle of the night, was closing in. As I followed him through the town square, I heard the maniacal laughter behind me. I staggered into a nearby lamppost, then to a bench, when He turned around and saw me falter and fall onto the bench. The last thing I heard was that bastard taunting Prince Kryscht.
