Chapter 16: Sharingan

Namikaze Minato took away the injured Genin and the frightened child. Now, only Natsuo, Kushina, Jiraiya, and Tsunade remained. Kushina looked at Jiraiya and Tsunade with caution and distrust.

According to Kushina, anyone who is hostile to Natsuo or viewed negatively by him is not a good person. Jiraiya said it didn't matter, but Tsunade seemed troubled.

Kushina is a member of her grandmother Uzumaki Mito's clan. She recently arrived in Konoha and can be considered the sole surviving member of the Uzumaki Mito's clan.

Tsunade also shares Uzumaki clan blood, so one could say Uzumaki is also her clan.

Furthermore, Tsunade knows why Kushina came to Konoha.

But Natsuo did think about disabling them. If Sarutobi Hiruzen found out, Natsuo would likely be punished.

Seeing Tsunade's determination, Jiraiya said nothing more and turned to Natsuo and Uzumaki Kushina, saying, "Come on, let's go see the old man."

Natsuo suddenly said, "This has nothing to do with Kushina. I'll come with you."

Before Jiraiya could respond, Kushina anxiously interjected, "No, Natsuo, I'll come with you!"

Kushina grabbed Natsuo's hand, eyeing Jiraiya and Tsunade warily.

"I'm afraid someone might say something to the Hokage. This isn't Natsuo's fault, so I must explain it clearly..."

Natsuo sighed quietly.

Even if Sarutobi Hiruzen decided to punish him, Kushina's explanations wouldn't make a difference.

But Natsuo wasn't worried about the punishment.

As long as Natsuo could prove his worth, the punishment wouldn't be severe and things would return to normal.

Uzumaki Kushina wanted to say more, but when she looked into Natsuo's eyes, she was shocked.

"Natsuo, what's wrong with your eyes?!"

"My eyes?"

Natsuo picked up a broken blade from the ground and used it to examine his eyes.

The sudden appearance of Jiraiya and Tsunade had made Natsuo nervous, and he momentarily forgot about his Sharingan.

Natsuo hadn't expected to activate Sharingan this time.

Jiraiya asked in disbelief, "Kid, how old are you?"

"Nine years old."

"What? Only nine?!"

Jiraiya and Tsunade were astonished.

Natsuo found their reaction odd.

The earliest record of the Uchiha clan activating Sharingan was Uchiha Sasuke, who was seven when he witnessed the annihilation of the Uchiha clan by Uchiha Itachi. He had activated One Tomoe Sharingan due to the intense mental shock but hadn't realized it at the time.

When Uchiha Itachi was eight, his friend's death at the hands of Uchiha Obito caused him to activate Sharingan in anger.

Uchiha Shisui was around the same age as Itachi.

At twelve, Uchiha Obito had directly activated Two Tomoe Sharingan in anger.

Uchiha Madara had activated Sharingan at fifteen.

Sasuke, Itachi, Shisui, and Obito hadn't been born, so Natsuo might be the first in the Uchiha clan to activate Sharingan.

Of course, it's possible others in the Uchiha clan activated it earlier but didn't reveal it.

But at nine years old, Natsuo might be the youngest to activate Sharingan.

Now, Natsuo wasn't worried about meeting Sarutobi Hiruzen later.
