"That... was... Asura Force?" Shuli exclaimed. "How could you possibly release Asura Force at Foundation Establishment realm?"
Red didn't know what Asura Force was, but he understood what she was talking about. That blast of energy that emanated from him just now had given him tremendous insights into the Fundamental Combat Techniques myriad mysteries.
"I cannot use that power. It was a latent release of energy as a result of progression of my cultivation to the next realm. I was just lucky this time." Red said after some thought.
Shuli shook her head when she heard that. "Luck? It seems you don't understand the significance of being able to emit Asura Force just by upgrading to Foundation Establishment realm. Your cultivation technique is definitely much more powerful than the one I practice, which is the Royal Asura Surge, considered to be the pinnacle grade cultivation technique among the Asura. I have never heard of anyone in history summoning an energy vortex to break through Foundation Establishment or explode with Asura Force like that." Shuli blinked her eyes at disbelief of what she had witnessed. She was wondering just what technique Red was practicing.
Red was about to get up when suddenly a huge amount of blood energy from all the slaughtered sentinels gathered in his body and the Bloodline Art began revolving on its own as the energy gushed through his blood and he could feel the blood becoming extremely thick and a huge amount of energy in each cell. The shade of his blood became deeper and slight hints of blue were about to appear, but once again the silver metallic liquid which had fused with his cells absorbed the blue tinge away. Red's blood had become a bright scarlet and was slightly glowing as if it was slightly fluorescent. Bloodline Art had upgraded to Blood Fortification realm.
Red felt his stamina amd strength rapidly increase. Combined with reaching Foundation Establishment, he suddenly felt moving under the gravitational field was much easier.
Red stood up with a jump amd tested the flexibility of his body. "Let us move. We can't stay at the same place for long. The old beggar sent me some information about the Zergs. We need to head to that direction, about 100 miles or so. Zergs seem to avoid that place." Saying that, he transferred the information to Shuli's device through wireless transfer and the two set out for the area where Zergs avoid so they could set up base.
Staying in one place in an area where Zergs inhabit was a poor idea. The more Zergs they killed, the more would come to investigate and eventually they would be overwhelmed by sheer strength and numbers.
The two walked in the direction Red had pointed. Along the way they had come across many worker Zergs and all had been exploded the wake of the duo's path. The two had left behind a trail of death and destruction. Occassionally they came across a group of sentinel Zergs and would end up in a battle.
After a day of travelling they came to the spot as located on the positioning system. There truly weren't any Zergs here and surprisingly the gravity here had reduced as well. This area was truly an oasis. There were plants growing here and even a water spring existed here. It felt like they had entered a new planet, but they could see that Zergs had come near the oasis and then run away.
There was a surprising number of birds here, that looked like ones seen in the human alliance planets and the atmosphere of the place was surprisingly cozy.
"This planet is truly bizarre. How can there be differing gravitational fields on the same planet occurring naturally?" Shuli wondered out loud. "Whose to say it occurred naturally." Red commented. "The Zergs are staying away from this place, which probably means they are afraid of this oasis for some reason. So we should remain careful." Red had been through too many near death situations recently and was extremely suspicious of the island. But finding a safe spot away from Zergs was important and had forced his hand.
"I saw a ship in orbit earlier when we were at the cave. It might be possible that we might encounter people." Red told Shuli. Shuli didn't really care about meeting other people. This was a training task for her and the benefits of the elemental affinity.
Killing the sentinel zergs had increased Shuli's fire affinity a bit and her Fiery Asura Fist was actually showing hints of a flame as she used it, which excited her. This fist art which Senior Flame Tribulation had handed down to her was very powerful and its penetrative power was fierce.
Red on the other hand was grumpy. He was obtaining lot of blood slaughter qi for Bloodline Art, but the elemental essence qi caused almost no visible change within him. When he saw that Shuli was clearly improving, he struggled to understand why it wasn't the same with himself.
Red remained suspicious of the oasis, but even after staying there for a week, nothing happened and so he lowered his guard. Red and Shuli had spent the past week splitting up to go and slaughter Zergs before returning to the oasis at night. They had come across a few other variants of Zergs some stronger than the Sentinels, like the Exploders and the Sonic Zergs. The Exploders would explode whenever an enemy arrived in its range and would spray a corrosive acid on its victims, disintegrating them, while Sonic Zergs used auditory blasts to disorient their enemies.
Red and Shuli had managed to kill a fair share of Zergs. Red had spent time improving his swordplay as well as the Fundamental Combat Techniques, while Shuli was focusing on the sentinel zergs because they improved fire affinity when killed.
A hundred miles from the oasis a group of people in core formation were following two people who were at the peak of Foundation Establishment. The two were a young man and woman who had just turned 18 and were being guided by the group of core formation practitioners to kill Zergs.
The young man looked at the map on his holographic watch and commented. "The alliance information says that there is a spot a hundred kilometers ahead which is avoided by Zergs, let us head out.
