"Which Zerg does this meat belong to?" The female guard asked, curious.
"Sonic Zerg." Red replied. "Sonic Zerg?" The woman replied, shocked. If she wasn't wrong, Sonic Zergs were pretty difficult to hunt, especially because they would be proficient in long range attacks. One had to be extremely sneaky, quick and lethal to be able to hunt them. Not just that, but this young man seemed to have just entered Foundation Establishment, it sounded impossible that he could've hunted those sonic zergs. She thought that it was probably the young woman who hunted the zergs, because although, that too sounded unlikely it was plausible.
The young woman from the radiant sect was surprised as well amd she became curious about two mysterious individuals. They looked weak but seemed very laid back on this planet. "Are the two of you alone here?" She asked. After all, even she had to come to this planet with an entourage of core formation cultivators.
Shuli nodded. After some time, the young woman and the female guard joined their own group who occupied the other half of the oasis.
Later that night Red and Shuli went off to hunt. The core formation experts from the radiant sect informed the young master and the young woman. "Those two seemed to have left the oasis, presumably to hunt."
The young master nodded. "Let us go take a look at what they are up to." The young master Lu was arrogant, but he wasn't an idiot. He had not heard of any duo of their description who had been dispatched to this planet as far as his information went. Given how calm they were despite facing core formation experts and hearing the name Radiant Sect, he didn't think they would be ordinary. He suspected that the two were possibly faking their cultivation levels.
The radiant sect group split into two. The young master and half of the core formation experts followed the woman, because she was the stronger one, while the young woman and the female guard followed the trail of the young man.
Red was slaughtering zergs with his sword. His sword move was very elementary and not flashy. It was a simple downward slash each time, but with repeated slashes he was able to easily tear through sentinel zergs. Red was not an expert on swords, in fact one might even call him a complete novice. His only experience with swords was the basic sword classes during the first couple of months of basic teaching in the school on Redmond Planet. All he had to learn from was that one slash from the sword god that had literally torn his mind into half and was branded into his mind.
That one slash which would tear apart the fabric of the universe was what Red tried to constantly replicate, but he felt lile he was a fool fumbling in the darkness and was beginning to think that perhaps he wasn't really talented with the sword.
His mind had become stronger after fusing with the fragments of Willingley and he had sought to encounter the scabbard's intent again to feel the sword intent freshly again, but he realized that the scabbard was devoid of intent and had become an ordinary scabbard.
Nevertheless, he continued to practice with the sword, because he found it more challenging than using Fundamental Combat Techniques. He continued to slash the zergs one after the other.
At a distance, the young woman, young guard and two core formation experts looked at the situation dumbfounded. Red was surrounded by at least 200 sentinel zergs, but he kept zipping past them, moving and dodging like the wind killing a zerg each time he slashed his sword. It was like he was performing a complicated dance.
The same situation was taking place with Shuli. She was punching down zergs into paste. Each fist had an incredible piercing power and her fist had hints of a burning flames scorching the zergs.
The young man was surprised as well. He was always arrogant of the martial arts in his Radiant Sect, but now this woman was displaying a fist that wouldn't lose to the pinnacle arts of his sect.
Similarly, on the other end the young woman's guard commented. "His sword form looks so ordinary. It is as if he has never learned to wield a sword, yet each strike is so terrible, even I can barely see a trace of the sword's movement."
The young woman nodded. "I am indeed unable to see the source of the sword. But what is really shocking is his movement and dodging capability. I have perused the best arts in the Radiant sect, but nothing could even close to this kind of ghostly evasive ability. He moves like the wind. This is no ordinary person." The woman thought these things, but kept them to herself. This man's cultivation was indeed much weaker than hers, but he almost seemed invincible in front of the Zergs.
While the group of Radiant Sect members had been watching these two individuals to gauge their origin, they didn't realize that they themselves were being watched. And it wasn't any ordinary beast.
The oasis, which was empty suddenly began decaying and turning into a wasteland. The greenery and life in the oasis suddenly did and a large egg rose up from the ground. Slowly, the egg cracked open and a creature standing upright walked out. It looked humanoid, but it was clearly a Zerg. It opened its mouth and a piercing shriek rose through the heavens. An aura emanated out of the newly hatched Zerg that was equivalent to a Nascent Soul practitioner.
A huge number of Zergs, of varying sizes and numbers and types that Red and Shuli had never seen appeared and prostrated before the humanoid Zerg which pointed in the two directions that the groups of individuals. The humanoid Zerg led half of the huge army of Zergs in Red's direction, while a huge centipede like Zerg bowed to the humanoid Zerg and then left with the remaining half towards Shuli.
