"Who is that man?" Stefan didn't believe what he was seeing right now. How could Hazel live in such a place? And from what he had seen, Gaia's guesses didn't sound right. Hazel clearly was not a maid in this place.
"You mean my man?" Hazel's eyes lit up when she said 'her man', because her mind immediately thought of Micah. "You don't need to bother, after this we will not cross paths anyway."
"Hazel, I know you…" Stefan felt restless when the thought of not crossing paths with her again came to his mind. For some odd reason, he didn't want that to happen.
"No, you don't," Hazel cut him off lightly. She didn't look nervous at all when she talked about this. She could even look straight into his eyes calmly. "You don't know me, Stefan."
But then, interrupting their conversation, someone called Hazel from behind her. "You have guests today?"
