"You can't make us wait any longer than this, Charos," Archer said. He was standing in front of the chief of the centaurs, while Gillian was just behind him. Not even once did they sit down, even though they placed two chairs for them.
They were gone for so long and the king must have noticed by now that Hazel had gone missing.
"She is a special guest of the king, you can't lock her away or not treat her right," Archer said firmly. He was trying to keep this conversation as civil as he could, as he didn't want to add more strains to the relationship between the lycantropes and the centaurs, yet Charos didn't make things easy.
"The rule is already set and no one should break it," Charos stated.
"You can apply the rules to both of us, but leave her alone. We will bear the punishment for her as well, but stay away from the girl." Archer glared at Charos. He knew that it was hard to make a deal with the centaurs, especially when you were in the wrong.
