PINKY PROMISE

Kiss put his palm into his face. He don't know whether to laugh or pissed. This baby brother of his sure is cunning. Even dare to rob this wealthy man. When Little K sit back beside him, he couldn't help but pinched him, exerting the rightful amount of strength. Little K irked out his pain as well as he tried to remove Kiss' hand. As Kris was looking at them, he saw how Kiss' smiles warmly that he gulp. The lips that seems to be calling him to taste. Pink and glossy better than a woman's. Too tempting that Kris immediately wave his thoughts out. How can he think of that when there's a kid around them? How can he be so pervert that even the lips he wouldn't spare.

Kiss cough for a second as he said " return that card back to big brother"

Little K frown in disapproval. He even shake his head vigorously as he replied " no. This is the agreement we have with big brother. We made a deal and it's right for me to have this. I earn it using my spit"

Kiss bright smile turn into ironic. If only his baby brother is not a 5 year old kid, he sure beat him up.

"You cannot used it. You don't even know how to insert it into the machine what's more you don't know the password. So if I were you, better give it back to him or I'll take it out forcefully"

Little K look down in displeased. He knows it's bad to bribe people specially that he is just a kid. Someone like him should be playing instead of bribing rich people. His eyes are full of sadness as he mumbled "but if I were to return it back, wouldn't we die in hunger? You don't have money. You don't have work. And plus, I stay here. You have to add two more cup of rice everyday to feed me" His voice was full of grief as he rise his head again to take a glimpse of Kiss and bent down back as he added "I was just trying to help my big brother"

Kiss heart melted. He couldn't bear to get mad. Although he was surprised by his baby brother's last word, he knows that Little K only took the method he knows just to help him. Little K already understand the hardship of life. And even if he is different from some of his age, Kiss still felt proud. Atleast, this baby brother of his will sure grow smart.

"I'm sorry Little K. I'm sorry if big brother is poor. I couldn't attain your needs back then. I'm sorry if this big brother of yours is a failure. But I promise you that I will do my best to find a suitable job so that you won't rob your big brother over there" Before Kiss tears fall, he immediately hug Little K to avoid him from seeing it. He even tried to surpass his sobs. He don't want Little K to witness his weakness specially that now his baby brother is within his care. He cannot be a coward just because he loses his job. He already pass all his sufferings in life, what's more to add some. If he could make it in the past, he sure will do better today.

'How lucky I am to have a baby like you' he thought

Kris was just listening. The painful words coming from the siblings are piercing him through. Just by looking at Kiss surpassing his sobs making Kris' heart scattered in pieces. He really likes the lively Kiss. He likes how Kiss nag him every time he got. To yell this and that. Shouted these and those. Every little thing Kiss did or express makes his heart flattered. But now, now that he saw Kiss in his downfall he couldn't bear to just sit back and relax. It is his first time witnessing Kiss in low spirit. Lost his smile but brave enough to endure the daily challenges. Struggling to survive but still persistent to live.

Before Kiss parted their hugs, he abruptly wipe out the traces of his tears as he force a himself to smile. He tried to cheer up Little K by saying "I will take you to the amusement park someday"

Little K who's been locked up into his home back to his father is now full of excitement. Just by the word 'park' he knows that it's gonna be fun. His smile almost reach his ear as he said "really? is that a promise?" while showing up his pinky and added " Pinky promise?"

Kiss do the same as he intertwined his pinky into Little K and said "pinky promise"

It's already past 11pm when Kiss decided to open up something with Kris as Little K was in his deep slumber. Kris was busy tapping in his phone when suddenly Kiss sit beside him that startled Kris. He said "Amm.. Can I talk to you for a minute? But if you're busy I... I can wait"

Kris that's been dumbstruck was staring at his wife intimately. Kiss voice was low and gentle

'Did my wife just take the initiative to talk to me?' he thought

Drawn by his imagination, Kiss pretended to cough that causes Kris to snap his mind.

"Oh I'm sorry. What do you want to talk about?" Kris heart was beating so fast that he seems so eager to embrace the man beside him. Actually, if not for the fact that Little K said about Kiss job, he would have forgotten the offer he received the other day. It might be a waste not to try it since it will gain him money without working labor.

"Amm you see, someone offer me a job about something like a reality show. It porcated the life of having a roommate. The company offers a lot of benefits that might help us. And with the fact that you're already a celebrity, I guess it won't be hard for you right?" Kiss was a little bit nervous. Even if he knows that Kris will agree to it, there's still a chance that he won't accept it. Presumably, Kiss really wanted Kris to join. Not because it give him a quite sum of money but because he can watch for his baby brother without worries. Since, he received the call from his shitty father that he'll left Little K into his hands, Kiss strongly decided to accept the offer right away. It's just that he almost forgot about it.

Kris frown as he look at Kiss with confusion. It sank to him that Kiss is in need of money but a reality show? How can Kiss adopt with the sudden environment using cameras as well as filming his every move. Kris has been in the entertainment circle for 10 years and to say that he might be famous, it is not easy to climb into being a renowned celebrity. You have to endure humility, shame, degrading, bullying and even sacrificing your own happiness. You have to focused on you image, limit your movements and maintain being a perfect person. Even if Kiss said it is just a reality show, it change a huge impact to Kiss. It's not that Kris is worried, he is just somehow uncomfortable. If it all just money, Kris can lend him even a million dollars without interest as long as Kiss will never suffer again.

"What's the name of this reality show and the company? The name who offer you a job?" Out if curiosity, Kris couldn't help but wanted to know everything.

"The tittle is 'A Life with a Roommate' covered by XYZ Entertainment Co.. It was a woman who offered it to me. If my memory serves me right her name should be Scarlett O'Hara"

Kris was astonished. The company Kiss was talking about is not as simple as it sounds. It is the company that almost inline with his father. The said company owns 44% of the annual growth inside the City of Meyhem next to Kris' father's company which hold the largest rate of 45%. They are not competitors, infact they are affiliate. XYZ ENTERTAINMENT CO.'s CEO was a business partner of Mr. Hamlet. It's been so long since the contract was established and that their partnership remain strong.

Kiss was waiting for Kris' reply but a sudden change in his expression when he saw how Kris' left brow rises. It only mean one thing, he won't agree.

Kiss was about to stand when Kris abruptly hold his wrist. He halted as he turn around to see Kris in his confused look. Kiss said " It's fine if you don't. I'll just have to find another job, although it might be a tough one since Little K is here and no one will look after him"

Kiss was determined to participate but if his roommate won't agree, then he just have to find a job sooner or else he will hunger his baby brother.

"I didn't say I won't agree. I was just wondering if it will be fine to you since you didn't have any experience infront of a camera"
