"Showing me something else…? I can't help but be fascinated yet curious at the same time." Alan thought thrilled.

Feng tapping the bat eyed Alan who approached, "He didn't wore his wristband again. That means, I am up for a fast delivery once more but, since I am not using iron clad defense it would be hard for me to return it unless I use that…"

"Furthermore, what if he doesn't throw a fast delivery to begin with…?" he thought. Alan stepping on the popping crease threw the ball towards Feng. "From his grip, it's definitely an inswinger this time." Gabriel speculated.

And just like that the ball by a single tap went outside the wicket line. "Just like I judged, well then. Here goes…" Feng thought closing his eyes he suddenly sighed moving away as the ball landed in the wicketkeeper's hand. Alan stood stunned.

"What the?! It was a clear boundary delivery? Why didn't he smash it?!" asked Adam in disbelief.

"He won't, no matter how many boundary balls you shower over him. He would either evade it, return it with a dot hit or wouldn't play it at all." explained Ryan. "That's his second skill 'Resolve of steel'" Xavier added.

"Such a weird batsman…" Seles wondered puzzled.

"He is indeed. The one and only batsman who has the lowest rate of earned scores from all the middle schoolers Feng Mir Ozer." Heber remarked.

"I don't believe it…" wondered Aaron flabbergasted.

"The lowest scores earner but, the highest timer on the pitch. Record has it, that when playing against the Crescent International's academy in the academy tournaments. He was the third batsman on the batting line yet, he didn't get out even though his whole team was wiped out from the batting line. He was the only player not out till the innings end." Evan stated.

"Amazing…" Ren gulped. "It's true after all, he doesn't aim for sixes or fours so he won't get a catch out and his iron clad defense prevents him from getting bold. So there is no other choice left to get out rather than a run out or a Lbw." told Kazuna. "Indeed…" endorsed Zach.

"Such a jewel like player." Haruf beamed. Rauf and Nidou gazed at the sight silent. "You could've hit a four why didn't you?" Alan inquired.

"I don't want to. It ain't my style. You give me top spinners or fast balls. Out swingers or bouncers I won't aim for the boundary at all. What's wrong? Are you that surprised?" Feng replied resolute.

Alan shook his head, "Hehe… who knows. I guess I remembered another person who is as persistent as you." Looking up Alan traced Senri who waved back. Feng grasping his sight asked, "Is that him? The one with white hairs?"

Alan nodded, "Yeah… a certain someone who also doesn't like sixes and boundaries just like you. No, more like he is too lazy to smack his bat that far." Feng glanced at Senri wondering, "Someone just like me hun…" "So your second skill isn't an ability but a resolve. Well, that's good then. I wonder if I can break it." Alan smirked.

Feng sighed, "Forget it~ not even captain or vice-captain including Ryan could ever break it. How could you? In the last ball on top of that?"

"Eh… how can I hun? Just wait and see how I do It." Alan confronted running towards him.

"Persistent and me? Aren't you much more persistent then I am?" Feng thought hopelessly getting ready.

Alan heading towards the popping crease threw the ball on the short pitch harshly which bounced towards Feng.

"A bouncer!" called Cassiel as Helios and Poseidon stared anxiously.

"Will it hit him, your highness?" asked Azazel nervously. Kenzo shook his head, "It won't. It isn't meant to hurt him." "Huh?" Heber thought puzzled.

The ball hitting before Feng suddenly bounced up, not even reaching towards the wicketkeeper's hand it rolled towards the backside boundary. Feng traced the ball stunned.

"It's heading towards the backward long stop, for a four." told Seraph.

"But it's still a high delivery, if touched by the bat and then caught. Feng would be out." Seles explained. Alan smiled. However, before the ball could touch the boundary it was instantly stopped in between as if been hit by a wall.

Feng standing grave whispered, "I told you… even if it means decreasing my overall teams runs. I won't hit a boundary ever! I despise it. Even if you give me top spinners or fast balls, out swingers or bouncers I won't aim for the boundary or beyond it at all. And, neither will I let you do it, even if you force me to."

"Iron clad defense Zoom out!" he called out clear and loud as the same silver transparent line which once surrounded the wicket was now surrounding the entire boundary line in a huge circle stopping the ball before reaching for a four.

"Looks like you really live up to your words hun?" Alan remarked at his loss. Feng walking over grinned proudly, "Yeah, I do. Furthermore, at first I thought I could go easy on you but in the end you didn't let me. Really… you are one hell of a compelling person."

"This shield, will it be a hindrance for your partner as well?" Alan questioned intrigued.

"No, it won't. It's just my hindrance. For I have one mission when I go out in the arena. I won't return back until the last ball of the tournament." Feng replied determined. Alan stared wide eyed, suddenly his blurry vision fully came back.

"Really… you are all indeed miracles." he thought giving Feng his hand.

"Well done. You did great." he commented. Feng smiled shaking it back. "Great hun… the one who is really great in my eyes… You have yet to meet him Alan. Be ready." he advised.

"You mean your Vice-captain?" Alan guessed. "Yeah… that's indeed him." Feng endorsed. Alan nodded, "Then, I can't wait to go against him. However, Feng there's something…" he continued however Feng suddenly sensed a threat, rapidly turning around to grasp a ball which was aimed right at the back of his head. "What the hell?!" he asked bewildered.

Alan stepping a little bit back grinned playfully. "Good job indeed. You caught one of the eight balls, so the other seven of them are going to be aimed towards you from any angle Mr. Wicketkeeper. If you catch them all then you're pass." he waved mischievously heading back.

"Huh?!" Feng uttered embezzled as balls began to come flying at him out of nowhere which he began to catch. "What in the world…?" asked Ryan complexly as Mikael and Silas stared with their mouth a gape.

Kenzo shaking his head sighed, "Xavier, your little one way is too innocent." "Haha… I guess so." Xavier agreed.

"But where in the world are they even coming from?" asked Azazel looking up. Seles pointed his finger up, "From the control room above."

"Creepy! Who knows they might even shower bombs from above!" shuddered Adam while Cassiel exhaled speechless.

"Tch, he almost forgot about his wicket keeping again that dull head." whispered Gabriel irked.

"Looking at him, I remember my Ezekiel too much." Helios remarked glancing at Ezekiel who still snored. Poseidon tying his shoelaces stood up. "You are right indeed." he endorsed. "Ready to go?" asked Seraph patting Poseidon's shoulder. Poseidon all prepared nodded.

Feng panting hard stood with eight balls in his arms caught simultaneously one after another.

Alan staring at him quiet assured waved, "You pass." "This Rascal…" Feng gritted vexed. Throwing the balls away, he grasped his bat heading towards the middle schoolers pavilion again.

Alan eyeing him laughed, "Hehe… he is way too innocent. Moreover now, I can clearly see everything again."

Senri tracing Feng remarked, "Haha! What an interesting little chap."

"You think so?" Isa inquired. "Yeah, I didn't knew there was someone familiar to me as well amongst them." Senri continued.

Kazuna smiled. "Good for you then." cheered Orion, once again resting his head on Kazuna's shoulder. "Feng Mir Ozer hun…" thought Senri interested while Rauf and Nidou stared at him curious.

"And here I thought he was a good person." Feng uttered cross entering the pavilion. "Serves you right for thinking of him as an angel." mocked Ryan rolling his eyes.

"You brat…!" Feng endorsed.

"He isn't wrong. It was your fault for getting too familiar with him." Gabriel endorsed annoyed. "And receiving a slap on the face…" added Adam joining the fun out of nowhere.

Feng cross clenched his fist. "You bunch of…!" he shrieked however Xavier instantly patted his shoulder. "Alright, Alright, calm down a little will you? Don't exhaust yourself even more while angering over them." he suggested.

"But they!" Feng fought back however, Kenzo interrupted. "Just let it go. When they lost the challenge, they were on the same page." he smacked the debate back out of the blue.
