The invitations were issued one by one, and once again Hudson found himself immersed in a flurry of activity. Constructing a trading platform required far more preparatory work than he had initially anticipated.

Not only was there a need for a suitable place to engage in trading, but there also had to be a substantial number of capable traders, as well as numerous sellers.

Traders were relatively easy to come by; as long as there was a satisfactory level of profit to be made and safety could be guaranteed, they would naturally flock here.

The challenge lay with the "sellers", as they were typically of noble heritage. Hudson found himself personally managing many complex negotiations and arrangements.

Fortunately, the handling of war loot was a pressing issue for the Allied Forces.
