Chapter 212: Inviting Friends, Calling Parents
The borders between countries often encompass a black zone, devoid of any jurisdiction, mainly to avoid disputes. These locations typically harbour the dregs of society, where the evil, criminals, thieves, robbers, fallen nobles, slave traders, and other such "scum" congregate.
At the trijunction of the Norton Kingdom, Baiye Duchy and Stan Duchy, there once existed such a black zone, called Bologna, which became a gathering point for the "scum" of these three countries.
Due to its unique location, there were no nobles or lords here, making it a lawless territory.
Once upon a time in Bologna, one could encounter all kinds of evildoers, fugitives, rampant robbers, exiled nobles, and slave-trading merchants.
Dark races such as the Blood Clan, Werewolves, and Dark Elves could walk freely there, and occasionally one might even come across demon followers practising small-scale blood sacrifices.
